Dear LIL Friends,

I often see this kind of templates in the fandoms of various media, including LIL LEAGUE. As I'm really particular and fussy with wordings when talking about interests, I decided to make one of my own that'll suit my preferences. I thought of sharing this with other fans while I was at it. I've come up with sort of a project to share our love for the group using the hashtag LILFriendProfile (or lil friend profile on Tumblr) so I'd really appreciate it you'll join and/or share this. 🧡

So I did a thing. I made an AMV for the anime, Bubble. This is actually my second AMV. The first one wasn't for the international anime fans, which is why I didn't share that one. But this time it's for everyone (as long as you watched Bubble, that is. Because AMV=spoilers, duh!).

Turn on CC for the English translation of the lyrics, which I translated myself on top of editing the video. Because the lyrics encapsulate Uta's feelings for Hibiki perfectly, so not understanding it would make you unable to appreciate the AMV to the fullest. And as a perfectionist translator, I just had to go that far to take the matters into my own hands!

Not gonna lie, it was a huge pain in the ass to do all that by myself. But the animation and the song are both so God damn beautiful that I enjoyed the process all the same. Well, hope the ones watching it enjoy it just as much, if not more! 🫧

"Two voids don't make a light."

It's a pensive but apparently an undeniable truth.

Can a void and a light make a whole new light, though? The answer, unfortunately, still remains a no. There're only very few plausible outcomes for such a connection. For most cases, the void is shunned by the light simply for being what it is — a void. It's self-explanatory; nobody wants a dark, morose and barren shell of an entity to be their companion. The qualities considered as charming are the exact opposite, after all. Namely, bright and sunny. In the event that the light does want to embrace the void, it's very likely to get sucked into it and disappear into nothingness when getting too close.

The course of actions required to avoid both of these impediments are all up to the void. Either hide that abyss away from the light, or go out of its way to make up luminosity in an attempt to match up with the light. It does just that though, not catching up in any way in actuality. Thus, the energy put together doesn't hold a candle (pun very much intended) to the real light. All it does is exhaust the reserve and devour the remainder energy much needed by the void to keep going. It gets burnt out further, the hollow growing bigger and bigger. In the end, light only serves to solidify the void's essence more than it was before.

Although, there happens to be a secret third option: to meet the void halfway through. However, as it's a secret, no light ever seems to be aware of this possibility. What would be its end result if that kind of thing ever took place for real? The void doesn't know. It refuses to find that out altogether, for it may lead to the extinguishment of the light all the same.

What the void knows for sure is that all these different colors of lights are vivid and dazzling. Even so, as mesmerizing as they are, their brilliance can also hurt the eyes. And so, the void must avert its gaze from the light sooner or later, and seek out that ever so familiar warmth and comfort only found in emptiness.
