ghosting: feeling nostalgia as you're living in the moment, climbing on the rooftop to gaze at the moon and the stars, 'look at the sky' type of person, soft voice, soulful eyes that remind you of distant dreams, the gentle knowing smile of a childhood friend that you've known forever, sharing earphones to listen to music together, feather-light touches and subtle gazes.

9 and three quarters (run away): these people will cry with you when you're sad and then make you laugh through tears. wise yet feels a little lost in life sometimes. bullet journals filled with scribbles of thoughts and dreams. an extrovert. rebellious. untied shoe laces. texts you 'let's go on an adventure' at an ungodly hour then takes you to the nearest grocery store.

fairy of shampoo: soft smile and an even softer heart, talking in whispers with a loved one under the blankets in the dead of the night when everyone else is asleep, their hair carries flowers and sweetness in the wind, smiles and blushes at the smallest acts of affection, poetic literature, room that is decorated with fairy lights and comfy cushions on the floor, something about them makes you feel a little more hopeful and a little more in love with the world.

blue hour: their presence reminds you of sunsets, sunny days at the beach under the blue skies and witnessing an even bluer ocean, candid photos of loved ones, engraving your name and theirs on the tree trunk, laughing during awkward moments, "i don't want this moment to end", sentimental, distinct fashion sense, bright eyes filled with almost childlike wonder, to be around these people is to feel excited to be alive.

what if i had been that PUMA: passion that burns as fiercely as the forest fire and heart as warm as a hearth, competitive but then lets you win at the last minute just to fondly watch you rub it in their face, calm chaotic energy, restless, "so many things to do, so little time," exploring new cities with anticipation, makes you question everything in the universe with a most wonderful sense of doubt.

anti-romantic: sarcastic humour and a guarded exterior that masks a hopeless romantic, sudden and intense moments of loneliness at 2 a.m, cold expressions yet melts in your arm when you hold them, oversized sweaters, makes you playlists because they can't find the right words to convey their feelings, staying in a cafe past dark, people watching, rainstorms pounding on the window.

0X1 = LOVESONG (i know i love you): worn-out tees and ripped jeans, messy room, loves too hard and gets hurt in the process but would still do it all over again, wears their heart on their sleeves, unapologetically themselves, a little naive but strong-hearted, protective, nicknames and inside jokes, road-trips with best-friends, lazy laughter and a crooked smile, staying up late talking to someone and realizing it's already morning only when the hazy sunlight peeks through the blinds at dawn.

hogwarts house common rooms

gryffindor: warmth, the feeling of return. the scent that you can't quite describe but will eternally be reminiscent of safety. walking in with laughter ringing and walking out with the same grins etched upon your face. sprinting, running, tumbling through the portrait and sprawling onto the couches without a second thought. plush cushions that hold the imprint of hundreds before you. red curtains and gold lining; crackling fireplaces and bleeding heat. comfort in the form of friends, staying up late to drink whisky and paint nails all the wrong colors. fingertips dusting bookshelves that will never be truly appreciated for what they hold. but that's alright—words don't need to be burned into brains, leather doesn't have to be melded against bodies. there is nothing special, there is nothing particular; the fat lady sings, and the first years giggle, and everything is right in the wrong ways. it is a million things and nothing at all—and that's because it is simply home.

hufflepuff: soft sunlight, pulled-back curtains. being warmed by the afternoon light as it floods in through the windows. vines that crawl and portraits that talk. girls that whisper and boys that smile. innocence and goodness, to its core. stepping through and it's as if a hug ties its way around your waist. beanbags and throw pillows; handknit blankets and abandoned chess games. prefects ruffling the hair of the younger students and younger students cherishing the presence of prefects. a mix of houses that will never reveal their attachment to the common room. but that's okay—hufflepuff knows and accepts all. yellow and orange and black; colors that should clash but never quite do. declining school-provided decorations and instead having every student bring something of their own. mixing and matching and finding how the picture of three cats frames nicely next to an enviable pollock. it's a collection of things that have never looked so well as they do next to their opposites. smiles that never leave, laughter that never ceases, kind words that soothe the soul. a collection, because home is what you make it.

ravenclaw: beauty, long and spiraling staircases. herbal teas and warm candles. linens and vanilla and the indescribable perfume of the stars. books that draw attention for eons, and the ever-present disappointment that you can't read them all. the crescent moon that hangs like a chandelier, welcoming students home. classical music that plays just loud enough to be appreciated, but never irritating. whisking through the room with a grace that seems impossible in any other context; legs feeling longer and hearts feeling lighter. the sensation of finally being able to breathe. no disruptions, no hindrances, no nuisances—merely existence. blues and grays that form arrays over all you can see; pinpoints of stars and heavenly glows from what you swear are angels. it's every salve and balm you ever sought, oversized armchairs that are perfectly imperfect for your size. sitting down with an old book and a new cup of tea, uncaring that it was the same day as the last. because this is home: peace, quiet, serenity.

slytherin: crackling logs and subtle decor. cold dungeons relieved by hot fires. leather and mahogany. dark green for pride and silver for ambition. rarity. the tranquility of the great lake, the squid that never fails to greet, hi. being wrapped in shadows and light, masks finally falling and chests being freed as you relax. soft smiles from friends, because slytherins are not as evil as they appear. chess matches that last hours and days because a winner must be called. silence, because this is escape, and lilting chatter that always breaks the fog. the uplifting that comes with others, with a unit, with those that will have your back just as much as you have theirs. gatherings of groups that drink until they're drunk, smoke until they're high, laugh until their lips feel numb. physical touch as you lay on top of one another, staring into space or maybe a new book. reading passages of poetry out loud, the most melodic sound, and eyes fluttering shut as heads rest on laps. fingers combing through hair and walls crumbling. teasing and taunting, competing and coexisting. the ability to recognize one of your own, and the power to bring them home.

A sudden urge to go to library to study and pass your chemistry quiz is what you thought you had, until your hot athletic boyfriend arrives, with ethereal beauty he made everyone look at him, but he was looking for you. When he finally saw you hiding behind your book trying to cover your face, he walked towards you with a smile "hi y/n" he said as everyone looked at you with curious eyes. Yes it was known that you dated the ice prince, everyone knew and didn't really mind as they know how deeply in love he was with you but even though its been a year you guys started to date people just can't get used to it

You could barely talk infact, yeah way to ruin the mood but it was still wholesome to you and him. No matter what others thought you both loved eachother too much to even think about others opinions.
