I have my favorite. Elain and Lucien.

Used to be Azriel and Elain. Till the bonus chapter. Now I despise Azriel.

He needs therapy. And sometimes I think he's better off with Eris. Though they both need therapy.

I just can't see Elain with Azriel. I know sjm will write what she wants. It seems everyone thinks today will be the announcement of her book. Or that's what one ship says.

Reasons I switched to Lucien and Elain.

1)The headache powder. What 😮

2) The necklace. Elain returned it. Than he gave it to Gwyn. What 😦

3) Elain being aroused by Azriel. Will the girl probably hasn't got laid in awhile. She's very conservative or that's what we are told by her sisters.

4) Azriel gives me the overprotective of her for no reason. She shouldn't be exposed to darkness. Amren telling him the opposite. He's giving me Nesta overprotective behavior towards Elain from the first books. Which isn't helping her.

5) It seems elriels want Elain to be a warrior. I can't see that happening. Azriel training her. Which is the opposite of her character. She's not one for fighting. I actually have a theory she made everyone forget she stabbed Hybern. Cause she doesn't want to get involved with violence.

6) I noticed fuck boy behavior with Azriel. He loves rough sex etc. Etc. Now all these I call my lover daddy are coming out. Please stop

7) Cassian reaction to Elain ignoring Azriel. And azriel's behavior. Lucien wasn't there

Reasons I see Elain with Lucien

1) She's always wanted to travel. We know this. She said it before. Only thing we actually know Elain wants.

2) She still loves Graysen and Lucien still loves jesminda. Both of them lost their first lovers. Broken hearts. Azriel seems to crush on girls from afar.

3) Elain is going her duty. She's always followed the rules. She had been able to make her own choices. Everyone will say her rejecting the bond is a choice. Well it is. Though if she stays in night. Does she have a choice. Her life will be controlled by Rhys and the inner circle. We've seen this multiple times with multiple characters with the night court. Choice isn't there.

4) Since I don't know much about Elain and more about Azriel I'm only going off the vibes he gives. It's very icky. The whole behavior. I have more against Azriel than Lucien.

I know everyone will say since hofas. The cauldron was corrupted. So that means everyone is corrupted. Bonds and everything. Sjm would have make all their bonds corrupted.

For the People who think Elain will be Evil in the upcoming book :

Reasons why Elain is unlikely to turn evil in the next book:

1. Evolving Attitude : Elain used to harbor hatred towards the fae, similar to Feyre and Nesta, but she has since shown a willingness to help and appreciation for their customs while Azriel harbors negative feelings towards an entire race , many of them innocent , and does nothing to help them get better .

2. Compassionate Actions : Despite Azriel's negative feelings towards the Illyrians, Elain has not exhibited any such biases and has shown compassion towards others, including her efforts to help those in need.

3. Absence of Violent Tendencies : While Azriel has displayed violent behavior, such as nearly choking Eris to death, Elain has not shown any inclination towards such actions.

4. Internalized Issues : Azriel is depicted as harboring the most internalized issues among the characters, whereas Elain does not display similar signs of internal turmoil or bitterness.

Sjm has said she's writing a new series. Bringing back old characters.

What if it's tog characters. We still have two valg kings left.

What if Elain and Dorian are going to have similar stories.

If Elain has a valg possession. Koschei is a valg prince. As were his brother and sister. Prince and princess.

Koschei wants Vassa as his bride. Elain orcrux's bride.

This will be anti elriel. Koschei trying to push Elain and Azriel together.

Elain's fighting her possession. That's why in feysand bonus chapter, Elain cut herself on her roses.

She gave back the necklace. He went to Gwyn afterwards. Gwyn being his mate. Can help prevent him from being taken over.

If the next book is Azriel and Gwyn. It may have to do with him fighting that and her helping him.

Lucien is Elain's mate. So what if he can help her. That's why she's avoiding him. The valg inside her. Afraid of fire and light.

Gwynriel book ends with them together. Though Elain and Vassa both get taken to the valg home world.

Elucien book. Lucien, Jurian, maybe Eris go to the valg home world. Maybe the Valkyries. If Elain was taken. I don't believe Nesta will sit and wait for her sister to be saved.

Though they end up in aelin's world.

Super worried about how they’re going to handle Nettles, my only hope is that the show makes parallels between how Daemon groomed teenage Rhaenyra to how he interacts with another teenage girl.

I want a scene where Rhaenyra realises the kind of monster Daemon has always been. This man would openly insult his “bronze bitch” older wife whilst fawning over his 14 year old niece. She’s the new Rhea Royce whilst Nettles is the new her, that realisation should hit like a ton of bricks.

Would honestly add so much more nuance to the story rather than it being Angry Wife vs. Teenage Mistress.

Matt Smith is an amazing actor. Even he said demon is hard playing.

People that defend daemon. He literally went after his niece when she was way younger in the books.

He makes viserys dany's brother seem saintly.

I actually hoped rhanerya would have chosen harwin. They would have avoided the dance of the dragons. Plus he had blood of the first men.

George r r Martin writes from a history perspective. Stuff like family killing family duf happen.

Daemon Targaryen:

Kills his first wife by beating her to death with a rock. Mocks her and her family when the latter confront him about her death.

Doesn't care much about his second wife which leads to her questioning herself whether she was good enough for him. Refuses to let her return to her home. Ignores his daughters. Laughs at her funeral and fucks his niece at the night of her funeral itself.

Dry humps his niece in a brothel and abandons her there, leaving her vulnerable. Proceeds to fuck his niece at the day of his second wife's funeral and marries her the next day. Does not stay by her side when she's suffering a miscarriage and doesn't offer her comfort after the stillbirth and then proceeds to choke the said niece when she refuses to go to war and actually wants to consider diplomacy.

Ser Criston Cole:

Has sex with Rhaenyra despite not wanting it considering the unequal power dynamic. Which leads to him falsely assuming that the latter loves him and isn't just using him for sex.

When he finds out that he's actually being used for sex, which made him realise that he soiled his white cloak for nothing, he breaks down. He realises that he has made a mistake that might cost him his life and honour which eventually drove him to commit suicide. Harbors a deep rooted hatred for Rhaenyra. Calls her a Spoilt C**nt.

Criston has every right to hate Rhaenyra. She, albeit unknowingly, drove him to suicide. That does not mean that he's a misogynist. A misogynist is someone who is prejudiced against women. Criston does not hate Rhaenyra because she's a woman. He hates Rhaenyra for what she drove him to.

He's also not an Incel. An Incel is short for "Involuntary Celibate", basically men who are frustrated over not getting sex and take it out on women, a sub-set of misogyny. Criston is a member of the Kings Guard and he took a vow of celibacy, basically he's voluntarily fucking celibate. Rhaenyra made him break that vow (cause who can deny the princess?). It's not like he can't get Sex. Y'all were thirsting over Criston before episode 5. He's a handsome man, he's a knight and he can get sex if he wants if it weren't for his oath as a member of the Kings Guard. The white cloak is the only thing that he has to his fucking name and Rhaenyra made him soil that. That's a completely valid reason for him to hate her. It does not make him an Incel.

It's almost as if People hate Criston for switching to Team-Green (the more interesting team) and "abandoning" Rhaenyra more than anything.

Daemon on the other hand is a walking red-flag who also has a big ass red dragon. He takes what he wants and leaves the ashes when he's done and expects others to clean it up. And yet he's seen as this male-wife, feminist icon.
