another thing to consider: why judar and any candidate he brings in (he wasn't with hakuei, en, kouha, etc during their captures) is considered less of a threat than sinbad after he had acquired seven djinn willfully

aka why wasn't he already banned, since ugo knows he's fallen?

why is a guy who got seven djinn to join up with him by their own free will considered to be more of a threat than a puppet of al-thamen?

I think those were mostly what we decided on, the pyramid since stepped went out of style in early Egypt and usually had less steps and this one opens in the side. But based on the djinn's profile, it might as well easily be a Nubian pyramid. Any later-kingdom smooth sided pyramid looks like it though, once you remove the facing stones.

And as you mentioned for Valefor, it's definitely Greecian or Roman, Baalbek has multiple structures to it (four as seen here: Jupiter, Bacchus, Venus, later Mercury), includes trilithons (think Stonehenge) and that's about it, but it is fairly generic and could be Samothrace or the Acropolis.

Just was a lot to write and link at the time.

Dungeon Inspirations

Magi’s dungeons seem to be directly inspired from or based on existing ancient places which are World Heritage Sites today.

Here’s the few I could find something about:

Baal

Baal immediately struck me as very similar to many painter’s depictions of Babel tower. Dore’s, Bruegel’s and Valckenborch’s paintings of Babel tower are all very similar, and in turn inspired by the Minaret Malwiya of the Al-Mutawakkil Mosque in Samarra, Iraq.

Zepar

Zepar is, down to it’s smaller pillars at the base, a carbon copy of a mesoamerican Maya Pyramid in Tikal, Guatemala.

Crocell

Crocell is pretty easy to figure out, it looks like an Egyptian Pyramid, although I couldn’t really tell which one exactly.

However, I’m lost concerning the remaining Dungeons, even if I’m pretty sure they all look very familiar. Maybe some of you have any ideas?
