I’ve been out and offline for ages. I mostly have operated via my phone due to having surgery and I hate typing on my phone. I’m doing Inktober this year, though I’m not loving the prompt list. Here is where I stand so far, which is behind. You can click on each one to see it more clearly. They will eventually become a coloring book. I haven’t decided what size book to go for. The images are drawn in a 7.5×7.5 square sketch book. Thoughts?

I’ve mostly been taking some time to rest after a car bang up (I’m okay, just dealing with the after effects) and to make cute little tangle tiles. They’re 3.5×3.5 inches. When not doing that, I’m rounding up the last few pages for my upcoming book Mandala Muses! It should release end of November, after the 18th at some point.
If you haven’t already, check out Eni Oken as a lot of the inspiration and lessons I’ve learned from are there. One of these days, I hope to do her club or get in on her more detailed tutorials.
I also have my newly released cross stitch pattern up on PatternsOnline.com. It’s titled Fire Elemental Dragon and is a handsome little fella.

Drawing Surfaces
Fantastic Drawing Surfaces for Color Pencil Artists
I totally did not know that there was sandpaper that could be used for art. I received a set of water soluble graphite pencils from my friend, Tamara. I’m both excited and nervous to try these out. I mostly used mixed media paper by Canson. I’m going to scan in this drawing and then go back over it with the new pencils. Wish me luck!

Twitch is a service that allows artists and gamers to livestream videos. I mostly watch other artists on mine. I hadn’t used it because getting music for twitch meant listening to some horrible music that was anything but relaxing. However, Twitch will block any music I use that is not allowed to be broadcast, so I’m just going to enjoy drawing and painting.

Stickers, yo! So happy. I spent my evening distracting myself by sorting out Redbubble. I tried to play with Zazzle as I’ve had a store there since….um…4 years? I’ve made $4.61 there. I wanted to find new perks and gifts to add for people, so I wanted stickers.
