Goddd this scene. I love that you don’t need to see Keith’s face to know exactly what expression he’s making here. The words that stick with him, the ones that ring true for him, have all come from a place of love. “Patience yields focus.” “I will never give up on you, but more importantly, you can’t give up on yourself.” Krolia and Keith are both very private people. Given time to reflect and think, to really understand what’s important to them, they’re able to gain this inner calm and strength of will. They may not say very much, but the words they speak to those they love come from a very deep and personal place.  “I left you once.
