OOC ; Alright so I'm going to post a starter call in a second but I do want to let those that I owe know that I'm going to get to those as well in due time. This past month has been super crazy so please bare with me. People I currently owe that are in my drafts and I absolutely will get to are as follows; @blazeoflife @ochazos x 3 @yukcri x 2 @mjrarcana @kaeruninja I'm writing this mostly for me so that I don't forget and I can keep track of things on my end, but also to let people know that I haven't forgotten them.

The words had slipped from her lips before she even processed that she spoke them out loud. Deliverance could mean many things to many people. For her maybe she longed for everything to be over so that her and all of her newly found friends could rest. She saw the stress that this caused the people around her and only wished to make them happy. Especially Junpei, Makoto, and Fuuka. Those were the three that she was the closest with. She could see the way all of this was effecting them.

Sometimes she could see bags underneath her loved ones eyes or the complete exhaustion when they came back from Tartarus. Chidori didn't go into that labyrinth often but she was thankful for the moments in which she could. At least then she could provide healing and aid for them. It was better than sitting back and worrying if they would ever return. Now she understood deeply how Fuuka felt.

Hell it was effecting her too. She had so many sleepless nights where she tossed and turned. So much so that she ended up sneaking off to Junpei's room to get some decent sleep some nights. Whenever she was with him it was like she could finally be at peace.

Little did she know Makoto had made his way up to the rooftop when she'd spoken those words.

The rooftop. It seemed to be the place where they often had their chats. She couldn't help wandering up here every so often. Mostly it was because she wanted to tend to the little garden that was up here. She'd found that she actually had quite the green thumb. Even without her powers.

Thinking on Makoto's words she could feel her heart beat race a little. Saving Junpei's life had always been a gamble on whether or not she would perish. Until very recently she'd been living on borrowed time. The beat of his heart when she'd restored his life it was something that still brought her endless joy til this day. She'd been prepared to die if it meant saving his life. There was still so much left for him to do and for her...she would have died soon after if she hadn't rolled the dice on bringing him back. Though, there wasn't any hesitation whatsoever. She just knew she had to save him.

As Chidori turned to face Makoto a very small smile on her lips as her hand rested over her heart, she spoke softly. "Yes, perhaps that has always been my answer. After all . . . he did save my wretched soul just as much as I saved his life."

She walked over to her friend and cocked her head to the side. "We're not heading out today are we? You should probably be getting some rest, right?"

"Deliverance... huh..." Makoto stared up at the sky. It was cold this time of year, and the Dark Hour painted everything in an eerie light. Somehow though, it didn't make him nervous anymore. Not standing on the roof of the dorm. In the light of a half moon, he could still remember the very first time he summoned his persona. The way the fear pulsed in his veins as he took that dangerous step across the threshold.

To save his own life...

.... to save someone else's life....

His own deliverance. A revival. His life had changed a lot since then. Loss, anger, joy... All things he had been numb to for such a long time. He had felt them all since that day. He wouldn't trade it for anything. The pain he felt when it happened was nothing. A baptism of suffering to grant his rebirth. 

He doesn't bother telling her its dangerous to be out in the Dark Hour. She knows. It isn't his place to lecture anyone about safety. He had too many reckless choices and acts of self-destruction hanging around his neck. He had thrown on casual clothes and walked to the roof without expecting her here. A strange sorrow has pulled at his heart. Could it be he missed Pharos? It had been some time since they had parted ways, but he still expected to see him when he woke during the Dark Hour. 

"Is that something you only know in retrospect...? Has it already come when you saved Iori...?"

Was there a fire? Or was it just her cheeks? Chidori felt her entire face flush a bright red as she cupped her face with both hands. He'd managed to fluster her with something so cheesy. Then again that was how Junpei was. Nudging him with her elbow she slowly looked up at him with a bright smile.

"If I had to give you a rating it'd be a twenty out of ten."

"Yeah, I can. It used to be pretty nonsensical but now it's a lot clearer." This probably had a lot to do with the fact she started understanding herself, her needs, and her passions more clearly. She was able to envision the future she wanted, the future she craved.

The air in the room felt heavy.

Chidori had recently moved into the dorms and sometimes there would be quiet moments with her and the others on the team aside from Junpei. It wasn't often that she spoke with Aigis, not purposefully of course, she happened to hang around Makoto the most. The words hung in the air and after a few moments of silence she was a bit fidgety.

Tonight had been a really rough fight on all of them and left a lot for them to think on. Naturally there would be some negative thoughts lingering after such a fight. Chidori rubbed both of her arms and slowly met the android's gaze.

"Yeah, but if there's one thing I've learned living here...friends can stop the spread of it if you hold them close." she hoped that Aigis could find some solace in that.

"Huh?" Chidori was a bit shocked that she'd managed to scare the boy in front of her. Or maybe not, he looked like the skittish type.

To her knowledge this group in Inaba were their allies so if she'd already scared one of them that'd be pretty bad. Then she realized that she'd been cloaking herself on instinct so she hadn't made any noise whatsoever and just kind of...materialized behind him. Maybe that had something to do with it.

Holding her hands up in peace she wore an apologetic look. "Sorry about that, I promise I come in peace." she made a little joke hoping that would ease his anxiety. It always worked when Junpei did it.

"I had a rather nice nap in class today." the redhead said with the hint of a smirk. Though it was true back when she was with Strega the nights were rather restless and rest was hard to come by. She had spent most of her nights tossing and turning with violent nightmares.

Ever since joining S.E.E.S. she felt more at ease and slept in any chance she could. She slept especially well on the nights where she'd sneak into Junpei's room to cuddle. Though that didn't happen as often as she'd like it to with Mitsuru's sharp hearing.

With a little shake of her head and a quiet laugh she looked up at the boxer. "Thank you for the concern, I am resting much better these days. I'm just feeling a bit...off today." It wasn't anything major, she was feeling low energy today. "Maybe I should grab some snacks."

Drip. Drip. Drop.

A trail of blood followed behind her. She'd been attacked by a rather familiar looking shadow. Those glowing golden eyes looking right back at her and staring right into her very soul. Striking at each of her insecurities with precise precision. She could still hear the words echoing in her head.

"You're not good enough for him!"

"You'll only remind them of the pain you caused!"

"What a lame villain succumbing to this neutered house wife schtick."

"Sad. Traumatized. Scared little girl. That's all you are."

The sound of a voice calling out to her snapped her back to reality and she grabbed her axe quickly on instinct and howled in pain. Dropping down to her knees she gripped onto her arm that had been sliced and was still bleeding. Normally she would be able to heal it but she was exhausted from the previous fight and didn't have enough energy to summon Persephone.

As she looked to the person in front of her she recognized him as one of the faces Mitsuru showed them only earlier today as allies. Breathing shaky she reached out her good hand. "Do you have a cloth or something? I need to wrap this...I've already lost..." she paused feeling her head spin.

Oh crap she'd lost way too much blood already. She needed to get this patched up and stat. Fighting to find her voice again and keep hold of her consciousness she looked up at him again. "...lost a lot of blood. I need to stop it."

VIOLENT REACTIONS // @braveryhearted

When she'd made her way to this small town in Inaba with Junpei she had a vague idea of what she was getting into but this guy took the cake. It seemed like all he wanted was blood, guts, and outright violence. In all of the confusion she'd gotten separated from her other half and ended up in this mad man's crosshairs.

Despite her predictions she was a beat off and ended up getting slashed by his dual swords. "FUCK, that hurt!" she growled out at him. This dress had been a birthday present from Junpei and it was her favorite. Guess she shouldn't have worn it when she knew there might be a battle ahead of them.

A deep guttural snarl left her lips, now her fangs were bared and she was pissed off.

Lunging forward she used her Persona's ability to cloak her movements. In a split second before colliding with him she launched herself straight up into the air to move behind him. Though it seemed this guy was incredibly fast he barely stopped her attack.

"You're gonna pay for that."
