“Well not I know that I will not be taking up running any time soon,” Seb replied, “But to each their own. If it works for you, it works. I will not put myself through this torture again.”

“For real?” she looked at him sympathetically when Sebastian confessed that he couldn’t remember the last time he’d gotten home in time for a good night’s sleep. “While I get that crazy long hours are part of your job… is there really no way you could get a half day or something next week? You deserve to catch up on some rest, Seb.”

“I have a day off in a few days but I also use those to catch up on other things,” Seb explained, “I also just don’t sleep well in general but I’m hoping to be exhausted enough to just pass out.”

“What type do I look like then?” Seb asked, raising an eyebrow in the other’s direction, “Yeah, it did. My dad didn’t exactly allow a lot of visits to where my mom grew up so that and her cooking was one of the few ways I got to know her life before.”

“She really is,” Verity agreed with a nod. “As do I. She’s on another level really,” she mentioned, turning the item around in her hands as she waited for Seb to grab the batteries. “Thanks,” she smiled, prying the back open to put the batteries in after he’d handed them to her. “Hmm, it’s not quite as good as it once was,” Verity observed upon pressing the on button, a faulty noise coming from the device.

Seb watched and laughed, “Yeah, we should have expected that. It is a very old toy but the memory is nice, right?” He asked, smiling.

“Before you say it, I’m not, I’m not panicking,” she said. “It’s just that my coffee spilled everywhere so I have a caffeine withdrawal headache, I was up for half the night trying to fix a stupid low blood sugar, so then I was high earlier because it all hit at once, and now I realize that I’m like super behind on charting for some reason, I don’t even know how, I swear to god that I finished all this the other day.” She sighed. “Okay, maybe I’m panicking a little, but I swear, I’m not going to go punting children or something, please help.”

“Just because it’s a caffeine withdrawal headache, doesn’t mean you’re not freaking out,” Seb replied and held out his hand, “Give me some of your charts please. I’m sure there’s some I can do.”

Seb laughed, “I suppose if anyone made me it would be my mum,” he replied, “But I really enjoyed it. My mum is Mexican so it’s not quite the same country of origin but she grew up doing it so I felt more connected to my roots doing it,” he explained, “Well, if we can find some good salsa music, then sure.”

“Another chance to watch the match with you again? You bet I will,” Seb replied, grinning as he squeezed her hand back, “Wow, didn’t realise I was dating a super genius,” he teased and started pulling her in the direction of one of the stalls, “You’re right and also the tequila I got is top class. Best to save it for when we’re alone back at the tent, right? Otherwise we might have to share with somebody else.”

“I might’ve been hoping for at least one big fight that would end up in some of them smacking each other with their brooms,” Ariadne smiled innocently, but quickly that smile of hers turned into a smirk as he kissed her. “A drink sounds lovely,” she nodded in agreement, then reached for Sebastian’s hand to move some place else.

"I will call in a complaint to the quidditch federation immediately,” Sebastian replied, laughing as he entwined his fingers with hers, “Okay, shall we go to the same place as last time or raid our own tent stash? I think there are some bottles left in the cooler.”
