I haven’t worn makeup of any kind since we started #SIP and today, I started feeling a bit more “normal” again. I haven’t felt like myself in a long while, so when I was clearing my things at work, I grabbed the #makeupbag I kept at work. In today’s super fast and easy #eyemakeup I used @milanicosmetics #07BasicMattes #eyeshadowpalette. I don’t know if you can get it in stores anymore but it’s amazing. Formula blends well, the colots go on easily, and it’s so buildable. Also, because I was lazy, I just used the brush that came with it. I didn’t use mascara but I did use my @tweezerman #eyelashcurler to help lift my eyes a little. I also used my @aracelibeauty #ojosperfectosgeleyelinerpencil. I had never tried it before but I got it in an @ipsy #addon and figured I would give it a go. So far, it’s working and I use #eyeliner only to #tightline. My eyes are fairly small and I have a #monolid so if I wanted to try something really drastic, I would end up looking like a raccoon if I ever closed them while wearing eyeliner. As for lips, I love a good one, but because we are wearing #masks, lipstick would just smear around in there. At night though, I consistently use my very much adored #essentiallipenhancer by @jouercosmetics! Back in the #nubclub! At the same time, with #covid19, it is important to keep and maintain good #nailhygiene! The last time I did my nails was in mid-March and I used my #glossstrips from @dashingdiva_usa. Since then, I have not done my nails at all. Yesterday, I decided it was finally time to go back to it! In this #notd #naillook I used an old favorite of mine in the shade #ByteBlue from @sally_hansen. To make sure my nails don’t stain and to make sure the #polish went down smooth, I used a #basecoat from @holotaco. I also used the #glossytaco from #holotaco to finish. The #glitterpolish is to cover a couple bumps I gave myself washing my glasses 😂. For that, I used another favorite glitter polish in #Marcy from @livelovepolish! It’s so strange for me going from intercting with 100+ people a day to just seeing one person and a cat everyday. As much of a downer as losing my routine and structure for the last few years is, there are some things I can do to cheer myself up. One thing I like to do but ignored is to do #masks. I generally prefer a #peeloffmask or a good #sheetmask because the clean up isn’t so bad. It’s a #nailchange day. I finally tried my bottle of #notsolowkey from the #expressie line by @essie. I know it’s meant to be like a 3-in-1 with the base, color, and top coats but because it’s red I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t stain. So with a little additional help from @holotaco I used the #glossytaco and regular#basecoat to help lock everything in! Super excited for the @ipsy #ipsyaddon this month! I had initially gotten this in a previous #glambag and was skeptical. When I tried it on I was blown away. The #blush is subtle and buildable, the color is awesome with my skin tone, and the pan size is pretty generous (full size). Unfortunately the lid to mine broke off but when I saw this as an addon for $3 (!!!) I knew ai had to get it! For our family’s #LunarNewYear dinner I wanted red and a lot of it! I used @urbandecaycosmetics #NakedCherry #eyeshadowpalette and I used #FireAlarm from @vanessasvanity. Who would have thought #UPins would make great #nailprops? But, it has been about two weeks(!) since I started wearing #DoYouSteelLoveMe from @funlacquer on my nails! There has only been VERY mild chipping but it’s time for something new! Don’t get me wrong though, I super love this color. I couldn’t decide so I wore all of them! On the ring finger is #IceQueen; on all the other fingers is #Top1Percent; but on my index and pinky is #Rendezvous layered on top.
