Why do the X-men always try to get new members to wear those stupid black and yellow costumes the original team wore? Is it a hazing thing? Or a sign of rank? Cultural?
Like “You have to wear this, until you discover your identity as an individual and a member of Mutant Society, then you can design your own style of battle wear.”
All of Nightcrawler’s appearances in Predator versus Wolverine #4 (2023)
Apparently on the West coast they’re predominately DC lovers. Not much Marvel representation going on at San Francisco Fan Expo last month, but here’s a Nightcrawler badge I bought myself, a cute couple cosplay of Rogue and Gambit, and Joe Rubinstein of X-men fame.
Omg yes please! Today is my birthday and I’d LOVE to share one with my Goddess!!!😍🤯💕⚡️
had this bright idea because I like fandom events for idols (i.e. the coordinated hashtags, the special fan graphics, the quotes)
(except Storm's birthday is fandom-assigned iirc) (we don't know her actual birthday) (so this is technically unofficial, but it's fine!!)
Also you know how the biggest fans and fansites crowdfund so that they can get birthday posters of their bias displayed all over high-traffic subway stations?
Maybe next year they'll crowdfund to get the posters on billboards and skyscrapers haha
I just had a discussion with my friend about fanfiction and how we tend to assume that women are the writers without any actual proof. Then I said, hey, I know fanfiction written by gay and trans dudes. But then I remembered, wait, I think I know one writer who just must be cis het based on his work. Anyway, all writers, be honest, who are you?
