cant quite tell if the ask was received or answered but :)! im always happy to see your zebruh art whenever we scroll the source tags. such an interesting angle and setting, plus the different attire... it makes us wonder about the story behind that piece!

i saw your ask!!!!! i didnt answer it because it makes me really happy to see it in my inbox :3 if youre talking about the one of him at the window with the cards, i dont remember the song i was listening to, but i was thinking about the kind of conflict hed feel about the expectations he has as a higherblood while also craving intimacy and connection with his peers. similarly to how equius was moirails with nepeta but would also talk about lowbloods in a script-like fashion. they both remind me a lot of the way men and boys are bombarded with toxic masculinity and have to find their own path in life to avoid isolating themselves with their behaviors! i love my blueb100d bois :')

im just gonna go off about the problems with "cloud computing" for a moment if thats alright with everyone.
part of stripping amazon of its power includes the groundwork of informing people what "the cloud" actually is! AWS is the default go-to for new website hosting (not even just american), and i hate it.
cloud storage IS just external storage. its not just a security liability for the business/organization (you cant control physical security at them, theres a delay between breaches and notification of a breach, tech companies are known to hide and put off notifying folks of breaches, even!!!!!). if a company cant respond to a breach quickly, theyre the one folks are gonna point fingers at.
its ALSO a personal liability for users!!!!! "the cloud" is a server room in some random place, or in the case of AWS and google, random placeS across the globe. servers frequently, routinely, and automatically shuffle around data between other servers and even other server locations all the time to stay organized and keep routing efficient. but this means that each time your data is sent to a server out of the US, the NSA requires those hosting companies to send that data to them because of anti-terrorism laws. this is the ENTIRE thing edward snowden was trying to warn folks about when he got deemed a national threat. american anti-terrorism laws paired with the near-monopoly an american company has on international web hosting means personal infosec is now a global problem.
"i cant set up my own server for a small business!" yes you CAN!!!!! :D tech layoffs over the last few years (at least in america) have left a LOT of people who are well qualified to help set up small servers unemployed. theres probably someone in Your Personal Community looking for a job right now that will better spend the money within Your Personal Community than bezos ever would. hell, you can even think of cloud hosting fees as a digital rent. you can own your own land (server) and put up as many properties (websites) as you can fit on it, IF you own the server. or you can NOT own the land AND have to pay rent on each house you build. its a subscription service for the previously mundane phenomenon of having a personal website.

Australian backing singer revealed that Eurovision is patting down participants to make sure they don't bring any Palestinian symbols on stage
Not only has Eurovision gone out of their way to defend israel's inclusion, now they're treating all participants like criminals to make sure there isn't any solidarity with Palestine on stage

unsolicited parenting advice of the day tell your kids what to expect! If your two year old is anxious about when dad is going to get home from work, teach him to recognize what patterns indicate that dad is coming home soon! After lunch we will do an activity and then clean and THEN dad will get home. Listen when the calendar day starts with an S dad does not have to go to work!!
and if something goes wrong and today does NOT go according to the plan your little guy expects, tell him!! Hey, dad has to go to work after all today, but he will be home after lunch! Today dad has to get groceries after work, so he’ll be home later than normal. But he will return with more bananas! Focus on the positives too, give them things they can understand. Don’t just say “not today,” they understand the concept of grocery stores and unexpected trips. Just tell them the problem. You’d hate being in the dark about everything that happens to you also. Let them control their situation, even if it’s just their own emotions and expectations.
or even! Teach them to read an analogue clock! Let me tell you, church nursery in the 1.5-3.5 age group got so much less stressful and anxious for EVERYONE when I taught my kids how to read the clock. They don’t have to ask me anymore how much time is left and fish for answers I can’t give them. They know that their guardians will come for them when the long stripe on the clock touches the 2, and that if they aren’t there then then they’re LATE and they get to hold this over their parents head. Because they know their parents can be late. And they LOVE knowing when this has occurred. There is so much less anxiety.
anyway explain stuff to your kids, they want to know. This has been an unsolicited parenting advice PSA

yall know how Blizzard from Game Development likes to push updates and announcements when bad news about them breaks? bad actors will also capitalize on pre-planned hubbub because they know folks are occupied, like burglars going in during holidays when folks arent home. a lack of vigilance is the precursor to ignorance.

Reblog the fundraisers you mfs!!!!! I don't know why you all skip those to reblog some pic of a banner saying "FREE PALESTINE" or of news from Columbia University! Literally these people from Gaza have made an account on Tumblr and is writing in english to communicate what they need and you all are coming onto my blog or on the tag and not reblogging their posts. We have people both Palestinian and non Palestinian vetting the fundraisers! I mean more the reblogs, more the chance of the fundraisers gaining momemtum, the more there would be a chance of a donation. Please donate if you can and reblog!!! and follow them if it is possible.
@/mohammedayesh has posted getting leaflets telling them to evacuate Rafah. They are very low on funds. Go follow them and reblog their posts and donate if possible.
We have @/haneenatya too whose mother is suffering from eye stroke and need to evacuate. Please I have been following them for some days and it doesn't seem their own posts are getting much attention.
Follow them! They are on tumblr. Reblog their posts and donate. The protests in universities are being done on account of them. They should be our focus.

“Dogs don’t know what they look like. Dogs don’t even know what size they are. No doubt it’s our fault, for breeding them into such weird shapes and sizes. My brother’s dachshund, standing tall at eight inches, would attack a Great Dane in the full conviction that she could tear it apart. When a little dog is assaulting its ankles the big dog often stands there looking confused — “Should I eat it? Will it eat me? I am bigger than it, aren’t I?” But then the Great Dane will come and try to sit in your lap and mash you flat, under the impression that it is a Peke-a-poo… Cats know exactly where they begin and end. When they walk slowly out the door that you are holding open for them, and pause, leaving their tail just an inch or two inside the door, they know it. They know you have to keep holding the door open. That is why their tail is there. It is a cat’s way of maintaining a relationship. Housecats know that they are small, and that it matters. When a cat meets a threatening dog and can’t make either a horizontal or a vertical escape, it’ll suddenly triple its size, inflating itself into a sort of weird fur blowfish, and it may work, because the dog gets confused again — “I thought that was a cat. Aren’t I bigger than cats? Will it eat me?” … A lot of us humans are like dogs: we really don’t know what size we are, how we’re shaped, what we look like. The most extreme example of this ignorance must be the people who design the seats on airplanes. At the other extreme, the people who have the most accurate, vivid sense of their own appearance may be dancers. What dancers look like is, after all, what they do.”

make bad art or you will always feel bad about your art. Make bad art until you find joy in the crooked lines and the off colours. Make bad art because art is about expression and artwork is never ugly because it was made by someone who has lived a life no one else will ever live. Make bad art and find love through ugly. Make bad art so you make art at all. Make bad art.

One of the funniest failures of US school system is the fact they are legally obligated to teach us all the states but they never actually show how big Alaska is like I have actually had teachers tell me that Texas is the biggest state. We have all just convinced ourselves that Alaska is that small shrunken down thing on most US maps and the people that know it's the largest state can almost never accurately describe how large it is.
For context here is a picture
