thoughts on ash/tyler and ash/ben? (romantically or platonically)

I love them both in v different ways!!! In terms of friendships or romantic relationships I think either of those two have A Lot of potential and I wish we had more interactions for them. I do think I lean towards Ashlyn/Tyler over Ashlyn/Ben if we're talking about romantic pairings, but platonically they both have a massive place in my heart.

fastpass spoilers, answering an ask from the other! probably technically not but i'm gonna mention some fastpass stuff. we're talking about jasmine's tattoos here.

Oh, it would be insanely sick to me if she did have some sort of connection to the centipede phantom/s!!! We have a lot clearer of a shot of her arm (though it's kind of covered by her sleeve) in s2e64 and you don't even have to squint for it to look like a centipede phantom imo.

I wish so bad lilredbeany would draw and show everyone her full tattoo design. I wanna see it all so bad.

I don't know if it's better or worse that he was spamming Aiden trying to get his attention because he was bored, meanwhile Aiden wasn't home anymore. Holy hell.

So. The kids are all split off right now. Ben, Ashlyn, Logan, and Taylor are all at the school to talk to the coach/essentially locate the keys with Mike in the car, Aiden is home with his parents+presumably Logan's grandparents and Ben's parents, and Tyler is in the hospital with his mom.

So just take a second with me. And imagine. Doctors tell Tyler and his mom that he needs to be put under for something. They let Mariana stay in the room while he's going under, or they don't, I just think it's worse if she's there for this.

And as Tyler's going under, the last thing he sees is Jasmine smiling through a surgical mask, getting ready to move him into the room. And he's pretty much Out Of It by that point, but his last conscious thought until he wakes up again is "It's the lady from the Sorrel Weed House, I have to tell mom." But obviously. Yknow. He Cannot.

The only thing in my brain today is "I can't wait for the Miserable reveal to the question is Thomas a plant by the paper cranes?" Because while I still wish he wasn't and that these kids just had a really good teacher that was confused and had gone through something Similar when he was their age, I think he has sooo much evidence against him right now.

Specifically the cranes on his desk and the comment "Mr. Thomas will disappear, too."

thoughts on the autistic ashlyn hc? ^_^

I'm constantly saying she's autistic!!! My husband actually read it before me and was like, "she's sooo autistic." Then I read it a little bit later and I was like "oh, she is so autistic..." I have a meme over here about her being autistic, too. I think I've got a small headcanon post floating around here somewhere, too. Pretty sure I do.

I honestly consider it canon specifically because lilredbeany said that she "wrote Ashlyn to be autistic", but wasn't entirely sure about touching on it much in the comic yet because she wanted to research more/didn't want to get anything wrong--but honestly, as per my Autistic Experiences, Ashlyn is my favorite "I can point to this character and people will understand my experiences a little bit better" example. :D

Ashlyn head cannons  or Ashlyn x Aiden head cannons ( please I am begging you please and I am itching for a head cannon info post/ stop

!!! I think I've posted some Ashlyn headcanons before (though I'm never opposed to writing Another post that's just her), just kind of scattered here and there, so I'll probably focus a little bit on Ashlyn x Aiden with this one! Hope that's okay! :D

Aiden jokingly asked "is this a date?" while it was just the two of them once, and Ashlyn responded with a very plain "yeah." Aiden didn't know if she was genuine or not and had to ask later, but she was. That was probably their first date.

They're probably the type to see. Pretty much anything as a date. Impulsive late-night walk? That could be a date. Trip to the store with Ashlyn's family? Could be. Just existing in the same space together? Yeah, sure, why not. Just say it is, and it's a date. Even setting up the graveyard could be one. I'm pretty sure if Aiden said something about it being a date, she would just kind of "Aren't dates supposed to be fun and not 'we have to do this so we don't get killed later tonight'?"

I also think they're the type that would sit on a phone call or video call for hours just... Doing nothing/saying nothing. Aiden might talk a lot for awhile/the first bit, but they would eventually fall into a comfortable quiet where they were both doing their own thing/occasionally making comments on things.

I think Aiden would carry around hair ties and a little comb for Ashlyn (and also kind of Taylor). I also think he would have learned how to braid hair after meeting her/getting closer to her, just in case he ever needed to help her with it.

I feel like Ashlyn would bring extra earplugs that block out more noise than her usual ones (or over-ear noise cancellers; but afaik earplugs, specifically foam ones, block out more noise than over-ear--but hey, pairing normal earplugs+over-ear noise cancellers is honestly a godsend) even if she thinks she won't need them. She'd start carrying fidgets/puzzles that he might like, bring earbuds just in case he can't find his/his stop working, that kind of thing.

I think she would also start offering to help him bleach or dye his hair when the roots start showing back up if he wanted. She doesn't like the smell/it smells too strong, but.

He's always sending her things that reminds him of her; sometimes he goes out of his way to find something, sometimes he's just scrolling somewhere on the internet and he sees a video/image/etc.

He stims on her. A lot. Specifically little taps on her arm, hand, shoulder, side, whatever he can reach and whatever won't disturb her too much. She finds it comforting, albeit distracting. If she's overwhelmed, though, she'll tell him to stop.

She's actually pretty snuggly, depending on the context. Not the biggest on PDA, but she'll hold his hand under a table/when it's even a little bit out of sight, sometimes when it's just them+the other kids, so on. She likes leaning against him more in terms of physical contact, moreso just having their shoulders touching. If he flops across her, though, she relaxes a lot. Good pressure stim.

She also likes fluffing his hair a lot. It's pretty dry from bleaching it, but she still likes petting him. I think she would also get a little travel bottle and put some of her really good conditioner in it (because let's be real, with hair like hers, she probably has to have some really good conditioner to keep it from tangling constantly) and tells him to try using that/it should help repair some of the damage. He thinks it's kind of funny.

When Mike and Emma hear about them being together, they are so nosy about it ("when did you start dating??? when did you realize you liked him????"). You know that bit where they're like "where are our precious memories of holding a cup to the door during your sleepovers!!!!" And being jokingly overdramatic about Ashlyn not having friends? I feel like they would also go overdramatic-joke-mode and flop over, "and we didn't even get to drop you off on your first date!!!!" and all of that jazz.
