Hello!! I love your writing so much 🥺❤️ Do you think you could write a headcannon of how bolin and sokka would react to their girlfriend being sick? Ahhh I love your blog so much, and I hope you have a great day!!
hey, thank you so much for requesting! i absolutely loved this idea! i hope you like it!

Reacting to his girlfriend being sick
Sokka
Okay, let's be honest, this boy would 100% be all over you.
For real, he would not leave your side whenever you're sick.
He just wants to make sure you're fine and well attended.
He'd also try to cheer you up with jokes or just entertain you with his words.
I feel like he'd ask Katara to help him prepare some soup for you because he'd make a mess.
He'd tell you that he made the soup for you but it's obvious he's lying.
Once you're done eating, you two would cuddle.
He obviously doesn't care about getting sick too, he just wants to be by your side.
As you rested your head on his chest, he'd kiss your forehead and he'd try to make you laugh.
He'd obviously succeed, and before falling asleep, you'd thank him for being so great.
Hearing you say that made his heart explode, he loved you do much and he loved knowing that you felt the same way.
Bolin
This boy is the sweetest person on earth, and when you're sick his sweetness would even duplicate.
He'd be around you all the time and he'd always be touching you.
He loves holding your hand so I feel like he'd never let go of it when you're sick.
I feel like the two of you would stay home just relaxing.
You two would just be on the couch cuddling while he ran his hands down your back.
Of course, Pabu would be with you two, trying to stay warm and also enjoying some head scratches from time to time.
When you're sick you always have a bit of a hard time falling asleep.
Bolin's voice always relaxes you so you'd ask him to read a book out loud for you.
You end up falling asleep, and he thinks you're the most precious being in the world.
He'd try so hard not to wake you up, knowing how difficult it was for you to sleep.
Pabu would cuddle next to you, wanting to be close to his other favourite person.
That view is enough to fill Bolin's heart, and he'd think of how lucky he was to have you by his side.
He'd kiss you softly on the forehead and then he'd do some chores since he knew you clearly didn't feel well enough to do them.
A few hours later, he'd wake you up with a plate of your favourite soup to help you feel better.
He'd bring you a blanket to help you stay warm.
You absolutely loved how caring he was, he was an amazing boyfriend, and every single day you fell in love with him all over again.

Being king Arthur’s daughter was already hard enough, but being a witch didn’t make things easier. (Y/N) loved magic, even if her father wasn’t a huge fan of it. She started taking an interest in it at a very young age, and her own aunt ended up being her teacher.
As (Y/N) got older, her magic grew stronger as well and even though she knew her father loved her, she could also see the way he looked at her sometimes; he looked at her like she was a stranger, a monster even.
Life in the palace was always a bit boring. The princess didn’t have many friends and most of the time would end up feeling lonely. But that all changed once Merlin decided to get a new apprentice.
They hit it off right away. (Y/N) was excited to have someone around her age close to her and the boy was happy to be surrounded by so many talented people.
But of course, he was a bit nervous about being so close to the princess at first, and he didn’t really understand why she was around so much until he saw her do magic. He was mesmerized and extremely surprised, to say the least.
‘’I didn’t know you could do that,’’ he said once the girl was done with her spell.
‘’What do you mean?’’ The girl asked.
‘’Well, you’re the princess and everyone in the kingdom knows that but it’s not known that you can do magic,’’ he explained.
‘’Oh,’’ she murmured, a bit sad but not surprised. ‘’Well, my father doesn’t really like magic so I guess he’s always been a bit disappointed at my love for it.’’
‘’Come on, why don’t we take a walk around the castle?’’ He offered, trying to cheer her up.
Their friendship grew stronger with every passing day, and it didn’t take long for the young boy to start developing feelings for the sweet princess. She was a really powerful witch but she still had her feet on the ground and remained kind as always; he loved that about her. He also loved her smile and the way she made him feel when they were together.
(Y/N) could tell that there was something going on with her friend; she noticed how nervous he got when she was around, the way he stuttered and blushed. She thought that it was very cute, and it didn’t take her long to realize why he’d been acting like that. But she was still afraid of being wrong, so even though she also had feelings for the boy, she remained silent.
They were oblivious about the way they felt about each other, but everyone else wasn’t. They pretty much acted like a couple already to the eyes of strangers, and also to the eyes of the king.
The relationship between Arthur and his daughter had never been worse. The more she practiced her magic, the more they grew apart. They’d barely talk to each other. (Y/N) hated this, she wanted to be close to her father, but she knew that it would be useless to try to work things out; her father disapproved of anything she did or said. She was supposed to learn how to be a proper princess and future queen, and soon it would be time for her to get married. So of course, her closeness to Merlin’s apprentice was alarming to Arthur, and he decided to confront her at dinner one night.
‘’So, tell me about this apprentice boy,’’ he said to her. He’d requested to have dinner alone with her, and they were seated face to face with each other.
‘’His name is Hisirdoux,’’ she mentioned. ‘’And is this what you wanted to talk about? My friend?’’
‘’Well, he’s not just your friend, right? Rumors travel fast inside the castle, my dear.’’
‘’We’re just friends,’’ she mumbled loud enough for the king to hear.
‘’You sound almost disappointed at those words,’’ he pointed out. He made a pause to drink some of his wine and then he looked at his daughter. ‘’I don’t like him.’’
‘’Here we go…,’’ she sighed and sank in her seat, not wanting to hear what her dad was about to say.
‘’He’s a wizard apprentice, (Y/N). Could you imagine what people would say if you even thought about being with him?’’
‘’What does it matter what people think? I can do magic, too, father. I know you’ve been hiding it from the rest of the kingdom, hiding me. I’m tired of being a secret, of not being myself.’’
‘’For the sake of the kingdom, you should get married to an appropriate suitor.’’
‘’For the sake of the kingdom? Why don’t you just admit that you can’t accept the fact that I’m a witch, father? Are you really that ashamed of me? Or are you actually afraid?’’ The princess said in a defying tone.
‘’Young lady-.’’
‘’No, you’re not gonna do this anymore,’’ she interrupted him. ‘’Why can’t you just accept me? It’s like you don’t even want me to be happy. Magic makes me happy, Douxie makes me happy and I’m tired of you trying to control me just because you can’t accept people who are different!’’ (Y/N) got up from her seat and started walking away.
‘’Where do you think you’re going?’’ Yelled her father.
She stopped walking for a second to turn around and look at him. ‘’Away from you,’’ she answered. What he didn’t know was that she really meant it; she would go as far away as possible.
Once she got to her room, she started packing some of her stuff, and when she was done she decided to write a letter. She knew she would go and say goodbye to Douxie, but she wanted him to know some things that she wouldn’t be able to say out loud.
A couple of minutes later, she was ready to go, to leave that place for good. It was late at night but she knew her friend would still be awake, so she decided to head over to his room. Just as she was about to walk out of her room for the last time, she heard some guards approaching. The princess cursed to herself but quickly remembered that there was another way for her to leave without being noticed, Douxie’s room and hers were connected by some secret tunnels they’d made with magic a while back, tunnels that extended throughout the entire castle.
Once she reached the boy’s door, she started knocking like crazy. Douxie opened the door almost immediately and even though he was happy to see her, he could tell that there was something wrong.
‘’(Y/N), what’s wrong?’’
‘’I’m afraid we don’t have time for that, Douxie. I don’t really know how to say this but I wanted to tell you that I’m leaving,’’ she said.
‘’What? Where?’’
‘’I don’t know, to be honest. Somewhere my father won’t find me, somewhere I can be free.’’
He was shocked, to say the least. Deep down, he knew she wasn’t happy with her life in the castle, but this news still surprised him. ‘’I’m going with you,’’ he said and started looking for some stuff to pack. She grabbed him by his shoulders and stopped him.
‘’No, Douxie. I can’t let you do that, okay? You still have a lot to learn from Merlin, I know you have potential and I just can’t take this opportunity for you.’’
‘’But I want to be with you, wherever you go.’’
‘’Trust me, there’s nothing I’d want more, but we can’t,’’ she paused to take a deep breath; she could already feel the tears forming in her eyes. ‘’I wrote you a letter, there are some things I’d like you to know.’’ She grabbed the piece of paper and handed it to him.
‘’(Y/N), please…’’ He begged, he didn’t even know what he was begging for, he just knew that the situation they were in was extremely unfair.
‘’I know my father will be here any minute with his guards, you have to pretend like you haven’t seen me, okay?’’ Her tears were already falling down her cheeks, and so were his. She grabbed the boy’s hands and looked him in the eye. ‘’Promise me you’ll do that, Douxie. You have to act like you have no idea about me suddenly disappearing, yeah?’’
‘’Yeah,’’ he nodded. ‘’I promise, (Y/N).’’
She wrapped her arms around his neck and he wrapped his around her waist, holding on to each other as if their lives depended on it. When they pulled apart, they pressed their foreheads together.
‘’Thank you for everything, Douxie. I’ll miss you so much.’’
‘’I’ll miss you, too, (Y/N).’’ They finally pulled away and she walked over to his door, hoping no one would see her. She opened it a little and when she saw that no one was around, she knew it was time to leave. The girl looked back to Douxie one last time and smiled at him. When she was about to leave, she heard the boy speak. ‘’I will find you, (Y/N). I won’t stop until I do, I promise.’’
‘’I can only hope you will,’’ she said before walking away.
(Y/N) was right, it didn’t take long for the king and his guards to get to his room. They were looking for the princess, but she was nowhere to be found, and Douxie was just as oblivious to the situation as everyone else.
After the guards made sure she wasn’t hidden in his room, they left. As soon as the door was closed, the boy fell to the floor. He brought his knees to his chest and started crying; he just couldn’t believe what had happened. He couldn’t believe his favorite person was gone.
He knew she was a witch, a powerful one, which meant she’d be able to live for a long time, just like him, but the world was a huge place and deep down he knew there was the possibility of never seeing her again.
Douxie tried to calm himself down, took some deep breaths, and ran his hands through his hair. Then, he remembered the letter, the last piece of her that he had.
He grabbed it and quickly opened it. First, he admired her handwriting, beautiful as always and then he started reading.
Dear Douxie,
If you’re reading this, it means that I’ve finally left. Deep down I think we all knew the palace wasn’t my place, I just never belonged inside these walls, but that doesn’t erase how much it hurts me to leave you.
You changed my life, Douxie, turned all the black and white into full colour, and I couldn’t be more thankful for that. You’re so important to me, I don’t think you understand how much you matter to me. You were my first real friend, you taught me what it meant to fully trust someone with your entire heart… and I guess you also taught me what love is. It’d be useless to try and hide it any longer, it’s been a while since there was something more than just a friendship between us. I wish I’d been brave enough to tell you sooner, to do something about it, but I didn’t. All I can say right now is that I love you, that I’m in love with you and that I’ll do anything I can to go back to you; I mean it, Douxie, I won’t stop until we’re together again because I know in my heart that these feelings will never go away, you mean the world to me.
Thank you for always being there when I needed you.
(Y/N).
Douxie didn’t know when he’d started crying, but he couldn’t stop. He covered his mouth with his hand to silence a sob, and then he wiped some tears off his face.
‘’I love you, too, (Y/N), and I’ll find you, no matter what,’’ he mumbled, making a promise to her once again, and also to himself.
...
900 years later
(Y/N) was just walking around the streets of Arcadia, minding her own business when suddenly she bumped into someone.
‘’Oh, I’m so sorry, I should’ve been more careful,’’ she said, apologizing to the person in front of her.
She barely even paid attention to the whole situation and was ready to keep walking, but she stopped in her tracks when she heard a voice. The same voice she’d dreamt about hearing again, the same voice she’d missed ever since that day in the castle. He only said her name, but that was enough for her heart to start racing.
(Y/N) turned around and their eyes locked, time seemed to have stopped. She barely had any time to properly react before his arms were wrapped around her body, and instinctively her arms did the same thing.
‘’Please tell me this is not a dream,’’ he said once they pulled apart.
‘’Douxie,’’ she mumbled, still unable to believe that it was really him. He let out a sigh when he heard her; he missed hearing her say his nickname, the one she’d given to him, the one he ended up using all the time because it reminded him of her.
‘’It’s me, (Y/N), I’m here. I said I would find you, that’s what kept me going for so long.’’ He said, truly speaking from the heart.
‘’I started losing hope a long time ago, to be honest,’’ she said. She wanted to hug him again, to tell him how much she’d missed him and how she was still head over heels for him, but she couldn’t. The past had changed her, she had to change in order to survive and she’d learned to be afraid of trusting people, even the ones she loved the most.
‘’What are you even doing here, though?’’
‘’I honestly don’t know, I just kind of ended up here I guess.’’
There was a pause between them. It all happened so fast, just a few minutes ago the hope of seeing each other again was nonexistent.
‘’I missed you so much, (Y/N). There’s so much I want to talk about and so much I want to hear from you. I-I can’t believe it’s really you.’’ She smiled at him, not really knowing what to answer. ‘’I still have your letter, there hasn’t been a day in which I didn’t think about it and what you said in it.’’
(Y/N) opened her eyes. She thought about that later almost every day, also remembering her words, her confession.
Douxie noticed that there was something wrong, it was evident in her silence, in how tense she seemed. He tried to grab her hand but she refused, taking a small step backward.
‘’Hey, what’s wrong?’’ He didn’t get an answer, just a scared and worried look in response. ‘’Look, do you think you could meet me after work tonight? I’d like to catch up with you and talk about everything, I guess.’’
‘’I- uh, I don’t know, I-.’’
‘’Please, (Y/N). I think we owe it to each other.’’
She took a deep breath and made eye contact with him for a split second. ‘’Okay, tell me where do you work.’’
Douxie’s shift was about to end. He was nervous, he couldn’t wait to see her again. When they saw each other earlier, he noticed she was acting a bit weird. Of course, he hadn’t seen her for nine centuries, but that wasn’t the (Y/N) he remembered. She was different, distant and cold. Deep down, he even thought if maybe he’d already lost her, nine hundred years was a long time after all.
He was closing the restaurant when he saw the girl approaching him.
‘’Hey,’’ she said once they were face to face.
‘’Hi, I’m glad you came.’’ There was a small silence between them. (Y/N) started playing with her fingers, trying to calm herself down. ‘’Listen, I know it’s late but would you like to walk around while we talk?’’
‘’Of course, yeah.’’ They immediately started walking.
‘’I have so much I want to say, but first I wanna hear about you, (Y/N). What have you been up to?’’
‘’Well, trying to put these last nine centuries into words would be a bit difficult. I haven’t been doing much, really, just trying to hide my magic from everyone, seems like I’ll always have to.’’ She mumbled the last part, but he could still hear her. It was evident she was talking about her father, who she hadn't seen since that night in the castle. ‘’What about you?’’
‘’Pretty much the same thing, I guess. I don’t usually stay that much in the same place, though. You know, always looking the same could raise suspicion.’’
‘’Yeah, tell me about it. After a while some people just start spying on you because they know there's something going on, or at least that happened to me.’’
They reached a bench and decided to sit down. (Y/N) tried to keep a bit of distance between them, something that the boy noticed, and he tried to hide his sad expression at the girls' action. They stayed quiet for a bit, the girl admired the stars while also allowing herself to enjoy the boy's company, even if deep down she knew she shouldn't have.
"I'm in love with you, too," said Douxie, breaking the silence and immediately creating a bit of tension in the air. "I still do, and I know I always will; my biggest regret is not telling you sooner, when we were together back in the castle." The girl opened her mouth to say something but Douxie didn't let her, he grabbed one of her hands and slowly caressed it before he kept talking. "Finding you is what kept me going for so long, I said it earlier, but it's true. This may seem like I'm trying to rush things but I think we've been apart for too long to keep waiting, (Y/N)."
He slowly grabbed her face and ran a finger along her cheek, pulling her closer to him, but she pulled away. "I can't, Douxie. I truly can't."
"What do you mean? Did you find someone else? Do you not love me anymore? It's okay if you don't, nine centuries is a long time-."
"I do still feel things for you, but these last years have been very hard, Douxie. I've learnt not to trust people, even those closest to me. Please, don't take this personally, it's not your fault."
He slowly nodded and then made eye contact with her. "I understand, I know how you're feeling, trust me. I also understand if you're not ready, and I would wait for you for a hundred lifetimes, my dear."
"I want to be ready, Douxie, I truly do. I want to be with you, it's what I've wanted ever since we'd walk around the castle, running away from Merlin or my father." She paused for a bit, taking a deep breath; it's like she was at war with herself, she'd been for a long time, but she was tired of fighting, of hiding, she wanted to let her walls down. "Maybe we could take things slowly," she said. They looked at each other and he caressed her cheek once again.
"Of course, my love, anything you need."
She leaned on his hand and closed her eyes, enjoying his warmth after so many years. "Would you kiss me?" she asked.
He simply grabbed her face and slowly pulled her closer to him, and finally their lips touched.
"I love you so much, (Y/N)," he whispered once they pulled away.
"I love you, too, Douxie."
They sat side by side and the girl rested her head on his shoulder, and he wrapped an arm around her. They didn't say anything, they didn't have to, they both knew what they were feeling at that moment. They were finally complete, and it was like every single bad thing they had to go through was worth it, because it had led them to that moment, to their encounter.

Hello! Could i request a Sokka imagine where the reader is Tophs older sister who tries to leave her home when Toph join the Gaang? The MC is an outcast in her family, even by Toph. Toph doesnt want her to join because she claims she cant bend so shed be useless, this makes Sokka defend her and she joins along. The real reason shes an outcast in her family tho, is because shes a fire bender, and she has to hide her secret, only reavling the truth by accident after protecting Sokka in battle.
i absolutely loved this concept and i finally managed to finish this fic, i am so sorry for the long ass wait, but i'm starting to catch up on some old requests. hope you like it!

Being home was too much for (Y/N). She felt like she was invisible in her own family. The Beifongs had taken her in when she was little, but when they found out that she was a firebender, things changed completely.
When Toph was little, they were quite close, but then her parents managed to break them apart. They'd tell Toph that she was dangerous but also that she was useless because she couldn't bend.
So during the last few years, she felt like an outcast. She would go to the ring most of the time and analyze the movements of the fighters, trying to train herself. She eventually managed to improve her firebending, which had an unique style based on earthbending, but she still had a lot to learn.
She stopped going to the ring once she realized that Toph was the Blind Bandit, she didn't want to run into her outside of the house, but kept practicing on her own.
But suddenly one day the Avatar came to her home. He was looking for an earthbender teacher and she immediately knew that the person he was interested in was Toph. Dinner was a little awkward, but once everyone was ready for bed, things seemed much calmer.
(Y/N) was outside the house, enjoying the fresh air of the night when suddenly, she heard her sister talking.
''Even though I was born blind, I've never had a problem seeing. I see with earthbending. It's kind of like seeing with my feet, '' she said. ''I feel the vibrations in the earth, and I can see where everything is-- you, that tree, even those ants. And also my sister around here somewhere,'' she chuckled at her words. Even though they didn't have the best relationship, it was nice hearing Toph call her her sister. It made her feel a bit normal, even if back at the house she was still an outcast.
She stopped paying attention to the two kids and lost herself in her thoughts, but she got out of her trance when she heard an unfamiliar voice. (Y/N) went running back to the house and desperately called her parents.
''What's the meaning of this?'' Asked her father, clearly annoyed at the noise.
''Toph and the Avatar! Someone took them!''
Everyone went outside, following her, and they realized that the captors had left a note.
''If you want to see your daughter again, bring 500 gold pieces to the arena,'' read the girl from the Water Tribe. ''And it's signed 'Xin Fu and The Boulder.'''
''Master Yu, I need you to help me get my daughter back.''
''We're going with you,'' said the waterbender.
''I wanna go, too,'' said (Y/N). She was looking at her father as the words left her mouth.
''No, you can't come, (Y/N), you-.''
''I don't care. I know you've broken the relationship between me and Toph, but she's still my sister and I want to go.''
''You're not a bender, (Y/N), it would only be for the worse.''
''You know I can help,'' she muttered, knowing that her father knew what she meant.
There was a small pause while they shared a look. ''Fine, you can come, but don't try to do anything you might regret.'' He walked away from her and soon they all headed towards the arena.
Once Toph was free, her father finally saw what she was capable of. The way back to the house was awkward, to say the least.
After the conversation that Toph had with her father, there was a bigger tension in the house than usual.
A few moments later, (Y/N) heard some noise close to her room, and when she opened the door a little, she realized that her sister was escaping. She considered the idea of staying home, of being the only Beifong daughter and she couldn't think of something worse.
So as fast as she could, she changed her clothes to something more comfortable and ran quietly outside.
"Wait, guys! Please!" Said (Y/N) while running towards the group. "I wanna come too," she told them. "Please?"
She could see how Aang, Katara and Sokka all started nodding with smiles on their faces, but whem she looked at Toph, her expression was completely different.
"You can't," said the girl.
"What? Why not?"
"Yeah, Toph, what's the problem?" Asked Katara.
"Look, (Y/N), I don't mean to offend you but why would you even come with us?"
"Because I don't belong here, and you know it."
"You're not a bender, you would only be a liability to us."
"Hey! Don't be like that, Toph!" Exclaimed Sokka.
(Y/N) already had some tears on her eyes but quickly got rid of them. She didn't want the others to see her cry.
Sokka got down from Appa and stood next to (Y/N). "(Y/N) is coming with us, okay? Now let's go, we don't want to waste any time." He grabbed the girl by the arm and helped her get on top of Appa.
During their whole journey away from the Beifongs' house, Sokka and (Y/N) talked a lot.
He liked having someone like him around, it made him feel like he wasn't so alone; and she liked feeling like someone cared a little bit about her.
-
The days went by and (Y/N) could finally tell that she'd found her new family. Even her relationship with her sister had improved significantly since they'd both left home.
Still, no one knew that she was actually a firebender. She hated lying to everyone but she also didn't know how to tell them; in her head, she thought that they wouldn't want her to be with them anymore, she was afraid.
"Hey, (Y/N)," she heard someone say. She looked up and saw Sokka standing next to her. He took a seat by her side. "What are you thinking about?"
"Hi, Sokka. It's nothing, really," she tried to sound convincing but knew that she'd failed. Out of everyone in the group, Sokka was the one she was closest to. She even had a little crush on him, and the fact that she was lying to him was destroying her.
"You always say that but I never believe you."
"I already told you, Sokka, I can't talk about it." She looked at him and he gave her a sympathetic look.
"You can tell me anything, (Y/N). And I promise I won't tell your secret to anyone else."
"No, I can't. You'd hate me if I told you, trust me."
"What? I could never hate you!" He exclaimed and she smiled a little. (Y/N) knew he believed what he was saying, but would it still be true even if he found out what she really was?
Sokka took one of the maps he'd taken from the library, trying to decipher it while still enjoying (Y/N)'s company.
"Waterbending bomb!" Katara yelled from afar, and then everyone saw her get into the water, splashing everyone.
"Sure, 5.000-year-old maps from the spirit library. Just splash some water on 'em," complained Sokka.
(Y/N) couldn't help but giggle a bit at his reaction.
They had to figure out a way to finally get to Ba Sing Se, and The Serpent's Pass seemed to be the only way, but that was until they met a couple that told them about the ferries.
However, the plan was a total failure, so the only option they had left was the dangerous Serpent's Pass.
It wasn't easy, but they eventually made it to the great city of Ba Sing Se. But there was something waiting for them there: a drill with the Fire Nation insignia on it.
It was obvious who was behind that, the Fire Nation princess herself, along with her two friends. Luckily, Sokka came up with a plan, they were going to take the drill down from the inside.
"Okay, we're gonna go with Toph and then we'll get inside of it, okay?" Sokka said.
They all nodded and got ready to go, but the earthbender suddenly stopped for a second.
"(Y/N), I think that you should stay here."
"What?" She was confused. They had been getting along a lot better lately, but that comment took her by surprise.
"You could get hurt, it's not safe. Plus, well, you can't bend and you know that."
"Toph, I can take care of myself, okay? I told you a million times before!"
"I know, but-."
"She's coming with us," interrupted Sokka. "She is one of us and we won't leave anyone behind, okay? And she's not helpless, Toph."
The little girl tried to say something, but the young boy didn't let her.
When they finally reached the drill, Toph stayed outside, and the rest of them went inside.
"I need a plan of this machine. Some schematics that show what the inside looks like. Then we can find its weak points."
"Where are we gonna get something like that?" Asked Aang.
"Maybe we should break something, then some engineer would have to come to fix it," suggested (Y/N).
"Good idea," said Sokka, and he got on with it.
Once they had the map, they knew what they'd have to do, but it wasn't going to be easy.
Aang and Katara had to cut through the braces of the structure, but they turned out to be a lot thicker than they thought. They luckily realized they didn't have to cut all the way through them, instead it was enough with just cutting a little to weaken them.
All of them were focused on the braces, so the only one that noticed the three Fire Nation girls was (Y/N). She realized Azula was about to blast some fire towards Sokka, and she quickly pushed him away and instinctively threw some fire at her, too.
Everyone was shocked, even the three girls that were trying to fight them, but there was no time for explanations.
Katara, Sokka and (Y/N) escaped through the pipeline and even though the battle wasn't over, as soon as they were out of the drill Sokka started interrogating (Y/N).
"You were a firebender this whole time? Why didn't you say anything? And why doesn't Toph know? I mean, she's your sister and- Wait," he made a pause, suddenly realising something. "That was your secret, right?"
She nodded slightly, and looked away to try and hide her blushing face.
"(Y/N), how could you think we would ever hate you for that? That I would hate you?" She could see the hurt in his face, and she hated herself for it.
"The Fire Nation is the enemy, so I guess I figured you wouldn't want me in your team anymore if you found out where I'm really from."
"(Y/N), you can't change where you come from, and we would never hate you for that," said Katara in a sweet voice, still using her bending against Ty Lee.
Sokka wrapped his arms against (Y/N), which took her by surprise, but she quickly wrapped hers around his waist. "Thank you for protecting me back there. And once again, I could never hate you, okay?" They pulled away just a little to look at each other and then he kissed her forehead.
They knew they were still in the middle of a battle and that Katara was just a few meters away from them, but right there in that moment, it didn't matter. It was only (Y/N) and Sokka, wrapped around eachothers' arms, finally starting to realize their feelings for one another.

Sweet Company (Mako x Reader)
Warnings: none i think
Genre: Fluff
Fandom: The Legend of Korra
Summary: Mako and reader say 'I love you' to each other for the first time.
Word Count: 663
Reader is gender neutral
a/n: hey, everyone! this one's a bit short and it wasn't even requested but i've been feeling a bit meh lately and came up with this. i'll start posting more recently from now on, sorry for the long unwanted hiatus!
•••
You hated being alone in your apartment. You had a roommate and the two of you respected each others' space, but even when you spent time by yourself, you knew they were there if you wanted some company.
But sometimes your roommate would spend some days at their boyfriend's house, leaving you all by yourself.
Everything was perfect until the night came and it was time to go to bed. You were used to being around someone when it came to domestic situations and you grew up that way too, so it was hard to be alone.
You and Mako had been friends for quite a while and even had been dating for a few months, and he obviously knew how you felt, so he'd always try to spend time with you or invite you to do things with the rest of your friends, too.
This time, your roommate left for almost a week. You spent some days with Asami, you loved having sleepovers with her and you always had a great time with her. But you'd have to go back home eventually, even if the idea sounded completely horrible.
You arrived at your place in the afternoon, already thinking of what you would make for dinner that night. The last few days had been a bit difficult and every single thought you had exhausted you, even the slightest thing was way too much.
Suddenly, you heard someone knocking on your door and immediately got out of your thoughts. You walked towards the door and when you asked who was it, you heard Mako's voice on the other side.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" You asked once you'd opened the door.
"I brought some dinner," he lifted a bag that he had in his hand, and you realized he also had a backpack with him. "And I also figured you'd want some company so I guess we're having a sleepover."
You smiled at his words and slightly wrapped your arms around his neck before letting him in.
Having someone like him in your life made you feel very lucky. He always knew what to do to make you feel better, he was very sweet and sometimes you couldn't believe that he was your boyfriend.
The two of you had dinner and then got ready to go to bed. You were exhausted and he was really tired, too, so you knew it wouldn't take long for both of you to fall asleep.
"Can I turn off the lights?"
"Yeah, sure. Could you turn on the one on the nightstand, please?" He did as you asked and then he got in the bed, waiting for you to do the same.
Once you got under the covers, you immediately rested your head in his chest, and he wrapped his arms around you. "Thank you for coming."
"You don't have to thank me, baby. I love spending time with you," he kissed your forehead and started caressing your back.
"It still means a lot to me," you whispered.
There was a brief silence between you two, and you even thought he'd fallen asleep until you heard him again.
"I love you, (Y/N)," he murmured. You could feel how fast his heart was beating and you moved your head slightly to look at him. "I really love you."
You couldn't help but smile. You two had never said those words to each other yet, and even though sometimes you'd show your love for each other with actions, hearing him say that made you feel so happy.
"I love you, too, Mako," you said back. "I'm so lucky to have you by my side."
He kissed your nose and then your forehead again. You could tell he was smiling, which made you smile as well.
You two stayed there for a few minutes, and then you realized he'd fallen asleep. You relaxed your body and closed your eyes, finally feeling at peace with his arms around you.

It was evident now that there were new airbenders, and (Y/N) never hesitated in helping their sister and the rest of her friends. The whole journey to Ba Sing Se was a rollercoaster, but they eventually made it to Zaofu.
During the whole journey, Lin was acting even grumpier than usual, and once they all got there, they realized why.
"I found out why you were so against coming here. Why didn't you ever tell me you had a sister?" Asked Korra once everyone went back to the airship.
''Half-sister,'' Lin corrected her.
Obviously, Lin didn't want to be there, she made that very clear from the very beginning, but Suyin was right: they all went there to meet the new airbender, not to fight, and there was no time to lose.
Su decided to introduce everyone to her kids, making the whole Team Avatar feel welcome.
''Those are my two youngest, Wei and Wing. They're playing a game called power disc. They invented it all on their own, '' said Su.
''That seems fun, '' commented (Y/N) while watching the two boys. They couldn't help but giggle a little bit when one of them scored a goal.
''Ha! Wing goes down.''
(Y/N) saw the boy on the ground and thought that he was really cute.
''Hey, look, they seem to be around your age, '' whispered Bolin to (Y/N) while slightly wiggling his eyebrows, and they blushed a little.
''I'm so proud of those two,'' said Suyin, and they all kept walking.
They reached a place filled with sculptures made of metal. (Y/N) absolutely loved being a waterbender, but they were fascinated with the versatility of metal, they thought it was amazing.
Once introductions were over, everyone made themselves comfortable since they were staying in Zaofu. Bolin and (Y/N) decided to take a little walk around, both mesmerized by the city.
The twins were still playing their game, and (Y/N) couldn't help but look at them. They only realized what they were doing once Bolin asked if they were listening to him. (Y/N) smiled a bit and apologized to the boy.
''Go talk to him,'' he said.
''What? Talk to who?'' They asked nervously.
''I saw you looking at Wing I think it is, just go talk to him.''
''Are you crazy, Bolin? I'm not gonna do that! He doesn't even know my name and just- no, I won't.'' They licked their lips and scratched their neck, still feeling a bit tense. ''Come on, we should get ready for dinner.''
They walked together back to the guesthouse, and shortly after they got back, it was time for dinner.
There was a suffocating tension in the air. Everyone knew how Lin could be, but she was more irritated than usual, and it was evident.
(Y/N) felt a little awkward. They were sitting in front of all their friends around people they weren't familiar with, and if they were already nervous, sitting next to Wing didn't make things better. However, the boy was really nice and actually tried to make conversation with them, and soon (Y/N) stopped feeling so uneasy.
Wing was also feeling a bit nervous, he'd been wanting to talk to the waterbender ever since he saw them but didn't know how. He initially thought that (Y/N) was very good-looking, but he found out that they were really nice and sweet too, and he couldn't help but like them a little more.
Once everyone was done eating, they all went to their rooms, ready to rest. However, (Y/N) decided to go outside for a bit, they wanted to catch some fresh air.
Suddenly, they heard someone walking towards them, and since they didn't know who it was, they got ready to attack, but immediately relaxed when they realized it was Wing.
''Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know it was you,'' they apologized.
''It's okay, and you didn't actually do anything to me anyway,'' he chuckled and walked a little closer to (Y/N). ''What are you doing here?''
''Just getting some fresh air, you?''
''I, well, I saw you were here and thought about coming to talk to you,'' he admitted while slightly blushing.
''What do you mean you saw me?''
''My window is right there,'' he said, pointing at it and (Y/N) nodded. Wing let out a sigh and ran a hand through his hair. ''So what do you think of Zaofu so far?''
''I think it's amazing, really. I love how everything is made out of metal, kind of reminds me of home,'' they said.
They both sat down on a little bench, face to face so they could comfortably talk to each other.
''You're from the Southern Tribe, aren't you?''
''Yeah, I grew up there and well, then Korra and I moved to Republic City.''
Wing and (Y/N) stayed there and talked for a while, happily getting to know each other a little more. He then walked (Y/N) to their room, not really wanting to get away from them.
''I had a really nice time tonight, thank you,'' they began saying. They chuckled and he did too.
‘’Of course, and I had a nice time too, I hope you stay here for a while,'' he gave them a quick peck on the cheek. ''Goodnight, (Y/N).''
''Goodnight, Wing.''
...
The next morning right after breakfast, Wing asked (Y/N) if they wanted to take a walk with him, to which they said yes.
They walked for a few minutes and talked about pretty much everything. But then, the boy stopped and started playing with his hands.
''Is everything okay, Wing?''
''Yeah, yeah. I'm just a little nervous.'' He took a deep breath, trying to build the courage he needed. ''You know, I wanted to say something last night but I kinda chickened out last minute and I- well, maybe it's a bit too soon to say this since we met yesterday but I... I kinda really like you, and I just wanted to say it.'' He let out a nervous sigh and shyly scratched his neck, waiting for a response.
''Hey, it's okay, Wing. Just calm down a little,'' (Y/N) said while putting a hand on his shoulder. ''I kinda really like you too.''
''Oh, that's a relief, really,'' he said while smiling. ''I just have something to ask you now.''
''What?''
''Can I kiss you?''
(Y/N) was sure they had the biggest smile on their face and since the words just couldn't get out of their mouth, they just nodded.
Wing slowly put a hand on (Y/N)'s face and got closer to them. They shyly wrapped their arms around him and finally, they kissed. Once they pulled apart, they couldn't help but smile.
''Yeah, I definitely like you,'' said the boy before kissing them again.

Dear Suki,
I don't really know why I'm writing this, you probably won't even read it since I doubt this letter will ever see the light of day, but there are some things I wanted to get off my chest.
We broke up a few months ago and I have to admit that I still think about you sometimes. Do you think about me, too? Or did you forget me already? To be honest, I'm not sure if I really want to know because I don't think I could live knowing that you're fine without me.
I know we're over, but you're still on my mind pretty much all the time, not only because sometimes I still can't fully accept it but also because of how much you mean to me.
Life's a little easier every single day, until it's not. I still remember how I'd go to bed crying every single night, not wanting to face the truth and trying to do anything to keep you by my side. I still remember how much it hurt, and I can't help but wonder if you ever felt the same way. I have to admit that it's a little bit better now, but maybe that's just because I try to distract myself from my thoughts to not think about us. Being alone is a total nightmare sometimes; it's like one moment I'm totally fine and the next one I can't stop crying because of how much I miss what we had.
I don't really see you anymore. I hear stuff about you, how you're such a great leader and an amazing warrior, and how you are a ray of sunshine to absolutely everyone you meet. I'm not surprised, honestly, because you're completely perfect.
I miss you, you know? I miss talking to you and lying by your side. I miss our dates, I miss your voice. I miss you so much. I know we weren't together for a long time but I couldn't see a future without you; I might sound a little dramatic but sometimes I still can't. I guess these past weeks I just had to learn how to be away from you.
But it's still hard. I wish we could be together, talking about our days and laughing, without a care in the world, knowing that we had each other. I wish we could take a walk around town. I wish we were laying under the stars, admiring how beautiful they are, but not as much as you are. I wish I could be with you right now.
It may sound silly but lately my life consists of one small goal after the other. "Next week I won't feel as bad as I do today, once my hair is long enough to tie it in a ponytail my heart won't hurt this much, in a month you won't hurt anymore..." That's just how it is and that's how it'll be until I get over you. Will I ever get over you? Sometimes I feel like it's impossible and others I feel like I already have, but then I find myself longing for your touch and your love and realize I was wrong.
I have to admit that I'm terrified. I'm terrified of never finding someone like you or worse, of forgetting how much you meant to me. I'm even more terrified of you forgetting about me. People say you never forget your first love and I don't really know if I should be sad or happy about that, because I feel like no one will ever be like you.
I have a lot of questions in my mind. Did you love me? I feel like we did love eachother even though we never really talked about it. Are you still hurting as much as I am? Maybe it didn't hurt you at all, or maybe it did but you're already over me. Do you miss me? Do you want me to be by your side as much as I want to you to be by mine?
The saddest thing is that we were meant for each other, really. And even though I know that eventually I'll get over you and I'll find someone else, it'll never be the way it was with you, because you were and still are the one. I guess that it just wasn't the right time for us. I hope someday we'll find each other again, I really do.
But even though it hurts, I wouldn't change a thing, you know? I like to think that you wouldn't either. Yeah, it hurts but at least I got to call you mine once in my life, at least we tried. At least I got to love you. I never said it to you, which absolutely destroys me because now it's way too late, but I do love you. I guess a part of me will always love you because you were the first one to show me what love really felt like. Right when we broke up I used to go to sleep every night imagining I was with you, just cuddling and being happy, and from time to time I still do that. I'm not sure for how long I'll do it, maybe until it's more bearable. I'd like to know when will that happen, and a part of me would like to say that I'll stop doing that once I stop loving you, but I know that day will never come. If there's one thing I know in this life, one thing I'm really sure of, is that I will always love you. I know I already said it, but it's just that it's so true.
When we met, I had no idea you would mean this much to me, but you do; I'm pretty sure knowing you was the greatest gift life could've ever given me. You taught me to love, Suki, you were my first love. And I will forever grateful for that, for you, and for us.
With love,
(Y/N).

It was tiring, really. He needed to find a wife, he knew it, but it was like there wasn't anyone he was interested in. He was getting tired of it, actually. He felt lonely and thought that maybe he'd never find someone, that he was destined to be alone.
His friends always tried to help him, and they'd always have fun with it, but he just didn't want to try anymore. It's totally useless, he always thought. No matter how many times my friends and even myself try, there's no one for me.
They always tried to find someone at parties or royal dances, scanning the place in search of someone that would be interested in Zuko and that he'd also be interested in.
"Guys, I already told you, stop trying," said the Fire Lord to his friends, noticing that they were scanning the crowd. There were some guests from the Earth Kingdom in the Fire Nation, so there was a small party to celebrate them and their visit.
"Come on, Zuko, you can't give up that easily!" Aang told him while giving him a warm smile.
"That easily? Nothing about this has been easy!" He said in a whisper in an attempt to be more discreet.
He tried to calm himself down a little and pretended to be enjoying the party. He wasn't even trying to pay attention to those who were there, but then his eyes caught someone he'd never seen before.
Zuko sighed a little because he was literally mesmerized by the sight of the young woman. He saw her talking to one of his generals, and he assumed she was his daughter.
"Hey, are you there? Zuko!" Katara half-yelled in order to catch his attention.
"I'm sorry, what? I was a bit distracted," he admitted, blushing a little.
"Yeah, we could tell," commented Toph. "Why is your heart beating so fast, by the way?" The rest of the group immediately looked at him once the girl mentioned that, clearly waiting for answers.
The young Fire Lord blushed even more and started touching his neck due to the nerves. He kept glancing at the beautiful girl from time to time and his friends noticed that.
"What are you looking at?" Asked Sokka.
"Yeah, you seem to be really interested on whatever's going on there," mentioned the Water Tribe girl, trying to see what he kept looking at. "Spirits, are you doing what I think you're doing?" She questioned him with excitement in her voice.
"I don't know what you're trying to say, Katara," he replied, rolling his eyes a little bit.
"Are you by any chance looking at that girl over there?" She opened her eyes, filled with hope and joy.
"I, uh, well, I mean-."
"He is!" Exclaimed Toph, feeling how the boy's heart spoke for him.
"How do you even know that?"
"Again, your heartbeat, dummy."
"Oh, Zuko, this is great! Now we just have to go and talk to her, and-."
"What? No way, Aang. She probably doesn't like me," he mumbled.
"Well, you'll never know if you don't try," said Katara, and before Zuko could stop her, she was already walking towards the girl.
Zuko wanted to disappear from there, he wanted to tell Toph to open a whole in the ground just so he could hide in there forever, but he was speechless.
"Hey, how are you doing?" Said Katara to the young woman, giving her a soft smile.
"Oh, hi. I'm fine, a little bored since I don't know anyone here apart from my father, but that's okay," she said. "I don't know why I told you that, we don't even know each other," she commented.
"It's okay, I understand, these parties can be quite boring sometimes. I'm Katara, would you like to join me and my friends?"
"I- Yeah, sure. I'm (Y/N), nice to meet you, Katara," she said, not really believing that she was talking to the actual Katara, and that she was inviting her to be with her friends, the ones who bravely saved the world a few years ago.
The waterbender grabbed her slightly by the arm, making some small talk as they approached the rest of the group. "Hey, everyone, this is (Y/N). (Y/N), this is everyone."
(Y/N) waved at them, and when she saw Zuko, she realized who he actually was and bowed slightly.
"I-It's okay, you don't need to do that," he said and she apologized. He gave her a warm smile and she did the same in return.
They spent all night talking together, and everyone was very excited because (Y/N) and Zuko were actually bonding. Once the party was over, he decided to build his courage and ask her out on a date. The girl was completely surprised, but she quickly said yes. Once the date was arranged, she said goodbye to everyone, feeling excited for it.
It all went great, and it wasn't long until the two of them started dating. They loved spending time together, and Zuko felt like he was the luckiest person in the world, and so did (Y/N). They both knew that they were still young, but deep inside they also knew that they were meant for eachother. And they were right, because they ended up getting married. Life hadn't been easy for neither of them, the war took too much from them and ended up hurting both of them in different ways, but they were happy to have found each other and be able to spend their days together.

hello, i heard you wanted a douxie request! headcanons for jim’s kinda grumpy foster sibling being a witch who also trained under merlin, but left after killahead. douxie has been looking for them and they run into each other every few decades or so, and most recently in arcadia. jim is just horrified when he finds out that his sibling is best friends and maybe more (definitely more, jim is just dense(it was a slow burn on douxie’s part, reader kinda just accepted it)) with his rival.
FINALLY SOME DOUXIE CONTENT! i absolutely LOVE that boy with all my heart, he's just so nsoxkgowkcroso. anyways, thank you so much for requesting! i hope you like it!
(also this is a bit long hehe)
•••
Jim's sibling dating Douxie
Reader uses they/them pronouns!
You first met Douxie back in Camelot. You were also Merlin's apprentice, so your paths crossed pretty often.
There was always something between you two, an unspoken thing because neither of you acted on your feelings. With everything going on in the kingdom, there was no time for dating.
After the battle of Killahead, you decided that there was nothing else for you in Camelot, and the one person who could've made you stay there, had already much on his mind.
Over the centuries Douxie and you ended up running into each other, always taking some time to catch up a little, and both of you would realize that your feelings were still there.
When you last separated, Douxie made it his personal mission to find you again, and finally tell you how he felt. But it would take him a long time until he saw you again.
After travelling the world, you ended up in a town called Arcadia Oaks, living with Jim's family.
You were like an older sibling to him, and once he became the Trollhunter, you knew it was time to tell him what you really were.
He was amazed, honestly. His own sibling was a wizard! He asked you about all kind of things from the past, and you happily told him about your adventures.
One day at school, this new boy came around. He wasn't in high school anymore, though, and the first time he saw him, Jim felt a little threatened.
He knew Claire liked him and wanted to be with him, but after seeing every single person completely mesmerized by him, he couldn't help but be a little afraid.
So of course, he asked you for advice. You only reminded him what he already knew, that he had nothing to worry about because Claire really wanted to be with him, and no one else.
Jim knew you were right, but still didn't like stumbling upon the mysterious boy.
You spent a lot of time in Trollmarket, so you still didn't know who this new boy was.
But one night, you decided it was time to take a little break, and you all went to the cinema.
It was already a little dark outside when you got out, and then you all went to Claire's house to have dinner. When you left the girl's house, you, Jim and Toby walked over to your houses.
As you were walking, you slightly turned your gaze to this one boy that was closing up and cleaning the diner. You thought that his movements were familiar, and then you let out a gasp.
Jim and Toby looked at you a little worried, thinking that you'd seen something scary.
"Douxie?" You half-yelled at the boy. When he heard his name, he turned to where you were, and immediately had the biggest smile on his face.
You ran to him and wrapped your arms around his neck, and he quickly let go of the broom he was holding to hold you.
"I can't believe it! I've missed you so much, (Y/N)!" He told you once you two pulled away.
You still had your arms around his neck, when suddenly you heard someone cough a few meters away from you too.
You saw Jim was a bit confused, and even though he didn't say it out loud, you knew he wanted to know what was going on.
"Oh! Jim, this is Douxie, we've known each other for centuries, literally. And Douxie, this is Jim, he's my brother," you introduced them to each other.
"Yeah, we've met before," you heard Jim say.
Before you could ask him about it, Douxie talked again, asking what you'd been up to.
"It's getting kinda late, maybe we should just go and you two can catch up later!" Said Jim, grabbing your arm and trying to get you away from there. You just waved at Douxie and told him that you'd see him the following day.
"Why did you just dragged me out of there, Jim?" You asked your brother once the two of you were home.
"Drag you out of where, (Y/N)?" He was trying to play dumb, but you wouldn't let him get away with it.
"You know what I'm talking about, James Lake Jr.! I haven't seen Douxie in decades and I could barely say hello to him!"
"It's just that- Why didn't you tell me that you knew him? I'm not a big fan of my sibling just hanging out with that guy," he mumbled the last part, but you still heard him.
"I didn't know he was here! Or that he was this new boy in town! Plus, Douxie's not like that! He's a good guy and super sweet and nice, and also-."
"Woah, I didn't know you liked him, (Y/N)," said Jim. You immediately blushed, knowing it would be useless to hide it.
"I do like him, a lot, actually. I think I even have feelings for him," you admitted out loud.
Even though Jim still wasn't a huge fan of the idea, he encouraged you to talk to the boy and tell him how you felt.
"It's not that easy, Jim. After living so many years, you learn to not get too attached to people, and Douxie's learnt it very well. Me, on the other hand, not so much."
"What? You're kidding, right? The guy is head over heels for you, (Y/N)!"
You didn't believe him, and even though you were a bit nervous, you were happy to see your friend again the next day.
The two of you spent the entire day just catching up, like you always did whenever you saw each other.
He was staying in Arcadia for a while, so the two of you started spending a lot of time together. Your feelings only grew with time and even though you didn't know it, so did Douxie's.
Eventually, it was impossible to hang out and pretend that you were only friends, but you two decided to take it slow.
Douxie knew you were immortal too, but he was so used to losing people that it was hard for him to understand that you weren't going anywhere.
He knew you'd both agreed to take it slow, but he just needed to tell you how much he loved you.
And he did, and you obviously told him that you loved him too.
And in that moment you both promised to each other that you'd always be together, no matter what, because neither of you could stand the idea of being apart ever again.

Neither of you thought that your current life would ever be possible. The past hadn't been easy, but you were lucky to say that you'd got over it.
You met Azula when you were kids, and have always been there for each other ever since. You'd helped her stand up against her father and get away from him, you showed her what true love was, and once the war was over, it was her turn to be Fire Lord.
She was happy, happier than she'd been in a long time, and it was all because of you. You were the one who was always by her side, who always helped her no matter what and who always saw the good in her. And you were the one she was in love with.
Azula was a little scared of telling you, but once she did, you obviously told her that you felt the same way, and immediately started dating. Being with her was extremely exciting, full of unexpected moments and also full of love. It wasn't long until she allowed same-sex marriage in the Fire Nation, hoping that one day you two would get married.
And you did. And your life together was amazing.
She'd proposed in the training room since it was the place you spent more time together. Everything had happened in that room; every laughter, every tear, every hug and most importantly, your first kiss. She wanted the moment to be special for you, she wanted to show you how much you meant to her and that she wanted to spend the rest of your life by your side.
You wanted the same. You wanted to be with her forever, to wake up everyday by her side and go to bed with your arms wrapped around her.
Azula had a meeting that morning, and she'd just got back from it.
"How did it go?" You asked as Azula entered the room. You walked over to her and started helping her change her clothes.
"It was fine, a little boring as always, but Izumi will officially be Fire Lord after me," she replied. You obviously couldn't have kids together, and even if you decided to adopt, they wouldn't be blood related to your wife, so some paperwork had to be done in order to make your niece the rightful heir.
"Well, that's great!"
"Yeah, it is," she said. She sighed and sat on your shared bed. You could tell she was thinking about something, so you sat next to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"What's going on?"
"It's just that this whole Izumi thing has been making me think a lot," she answered.
"About what, love?"
"About kids, and about how I think it would be amazing to adopt a little one," she told you, kind of hiding her face from you to hide how much she was blushing.
"Are you serious?"
She nodded shyly and you wrapped your arms around her neck. You pulled away a little and started leaving kisses all over her face. "I'd love that, Azula. Oh, I can already imagine a little one walking around the palace!"
She wrapped her arms around your waist and kissed you softly on your lips. The two of you lay down in bed and stayed there for the rest of the day, talking about what having a kid would be like.
Once it was time for dinner, both of you decided to stay in your room and share a moment together.
You'd decided you'd like to adopt a little girl. Both of you liked the idea of raising her without the obligations and responsibilities of being the heir to the throne, you wanted her -and any other kids you'd decide to adopt in the future- to have the closest thing possible to a normal life.
That is what you loved about being with Azula. You were always on the same page, and even when you weren't, there was always communication between you two.
She never thought she'd be this happy and even though she always fantasized about you being the one by her side, sometimes she still couldn't believe that it was real. You were her wife, the woman he loved the most in the entire world, and the best part was that she knew you felt the same way towards her.
Being the Fire Lord's wife sometimes was a bit difficult and overwhelming, but moments like these made everything absolutely worth it, and you would never change a single thing about it.

Korra with an earthbender boyfriend
You and Korra had started out as friends.
However, you two grew closer together with time and ended up developing feelings for each other.
Korra wanted to tell you how she felt, but she was a bit scared that you wouldn't feel the same way.
And although it seemed a little dumb, she was a little intimidated by how great you were at earthbending.
Yeah, she was the Avatar, but seeing you earthbend always left her completely mesmerized.
You'd noticed her looking at you whenever you were training, and finally built up the courage to ask her if she wanted to train with you.
She was very excited, so she obviously said yes, but she was also a bit nervous. What if she wasn't as good as you were?
But actually it was really fun to train together.
You two were always laughing, and also flirting a little.
Korra was very excited because you'd always teach her new tricks and ways to improve her earthbending.
And it wasn't long until you two got together.
You couldn't believe she actually liked you back, and for a little time you actually wondered if you were dreaming.
Spending time together was great. You loved going on dates together, but your favorite thing to do was train and help each other improve.
She was so proud of how powerful you were and thought that you were as Toph probably were when she was your age.
You were also really proud of her, she was so strong and amazing, and you said it to her as much as possible.
Being together was completely amazing, and neither of you could believe how lucky you were.

Hello! I saw you had a message wanting some TLOK x Reader requests, so I decided to give this a shot. Could you do a fluffy Korra x Gender Neutral Reader fic from Reader's POV about Korra's stress & doubts as the Avatar and the reader using lots of TLC to cheer their girlfriend up, like kisses, hugs & cuddles, giving her praise for all the things she's accomplished? I feel like Korra needs some stress relief and comfort after all she's done. Thank you for your time, and happy writings!
omg i loved this request so much! it reminded me a lot of the remembrances episode so i kinda used it as inspiration, i hope you like it!! (it’s a bit short so sorry about that hehe)

Fighting Kuvira had been difficult and tiring. It was nice to have a little break and be able to enjoy Varrick and Zhu Lee’s wedding, but you and your girlfriend had decided to go on a vacation together.
You loved spending time with her, and it was very calming to finally feel at peace after all the events of the past. Korra and you decided to visit the spirit world, and were having a lot of fun together. However, you could tell Korra had something on her mind. She’d been acting a little strange for a couple of days, and you wanted to make her feel better.
She’d decided to take a little walk, and since you knew that there was something wrong, you decided to go find her. She was sitting on the ground, looking at the horizon, and turned around to look at you once she heard you walking towards her. She smiled softly at you and then turned around again.
“Hey, can I join you?”
“Of course, I could use some company,” she replied.
“What’s on your mind, honey? You’ve been thinking a lot lately.” You placed your hand on her leg, showing your support and love. She turned around a little in order to face you and put her hand on top of yours.
“Yeah, I have,” she said right before letting out a sigh. “We’ve talked about this before, but I just can’t stop thinking about Toph saying that the world doesn’t need me anymore.”
“You’re right, we’ve talked about this before. The world does need you, Korra, you’ve saved it so many times already.”
“I know, but what about the future? What if it’s just a matter of time for me to be… useless?”
You let go of her and sat closer to her. You put a hand on her shoulder and she slightly leaned towards you. “You’re not useless, Korra, and you’re the avatar for a reason.”
“I guess that I’m just worried about not being a good one,” she mumbled.
“That’s nonsense, baby.” You grabbed her hand and placed a soft kiss on it. “Remember when you defeated Amon and saved Mako? You gave people hope, you always do. You’ve made some mistakes and faced awful things, but you were able to get through it all.”
“But I made huge mistakes! Remember when I lost my connection to my past lives?
“I do, but it wasn’t your fault; it was Unalaq’s. And then you defeated him too, remember? You also brought back the airbenders, fought Zaheer while you were enchained and poisoned, and then also defeated Kuvira.” She made eye contact with you and smiled a little. “Life always has its ups and downs, especially if you’re the Avatar, but you can’t only focus on your mistakes. We all make mistakes, and we’ll always be here to help you.” You said, reminding her that you and your friends would always have her back.
She rested her head on your shoulder and wrapped her arms around you. “Thank you for being the best partner ever,” she whispered. “Sometimes things get too hard and stressful but you’re always there for me.”
“And I’ll always do the same. I know I can’t possibly fully understand what it means to be the Avatar, but I promise that whenever you need me, I’ll be there to help you. You just have to remember that life is full of lessons, and if you just get trapped in your mind, then I’ll remind you of it.”
“Like you’re doing now.”
“Exactly.”
She let go of you and decided to lie on the ground, and you did the same. Korra immediately rested her head on your chest, finally feeling at peace for the first time in a while. You ran one of your hands through her hair and caressed her back with the other one.
“I love you, (Y/N).”
“I love you too, Korra.”

Falling in Love (Suki x Reader)
Warnings: None
Genre: Fluff
Fandom: Avatar, The Last Airbender
Summary: You and Suki start developing feelings for each other
Word Count: 778
Reader is gender neutral!
You were a Kyoshi warrior and had always admired Suki, but never really got the courage to have an actual conversation with her. But the two of you got really close in a short time, and you soon found out that you loved spending time with her.
She was really sweet and caring but at the same time she was the strongest person you'd ever met, and you soon started to develop feelings for her. At first you were a little scared by that, but soon you realized that even though you'd never talked about it, she felt the same way. It was evident in the way she looked, touched and talked to you, and you thought that you were the luckiest person in the entire world.
After a few weeks of spending a lot of time together, it was obvious that there was something between you two. However, you wanted to take things slow and at the same time, you didn't want to force anything.
The weeks passed and then Suki had finally listened to you and decided to take a little break and spend a free day with you. You knew how hard she worked and constantly told her that she deserved to slow down for a bit, and you couldn't believe that she had finally payed attention to you.
You were really excited and you'd been dreaming for so long about that moment that you had everything planned. You decided to have a picnic, just the two of you, near a beautiful field of flowers that you'd found some day while walking around. You loved flowers and thought that it would be the perfect place to spend time together.
You'd finished eating and decided to lay down on the ground and look up at the sky. The sun made you feel sleepy and for a moment you thought if all of that was just a dream, but when Suki grabbed your hand and you opened your eyes to look at her face, you realized that it was actually happening.
"You know, I'm really glad to be here with you," she said.
You smiled at her words and kept looking at her. "Me too, I love spending time with you," you told her. Everything was absolutely perfect, and suddenly you thought about telling her something that had been on your mind for the past few days. You thought that if you didn't tell her, you wouldn't be able to live with yourself, you had to tell her.
"What's on your mind?" She asked, noticing that there was something troubling you.
"I need to tell you something, Suki," you said. "Something important."
"Should I be scared?" She said in a half joking tone.
"I don't know," you mumbled, "but I can't keep hiding how I feel." You took a deep breath before opening your mouth again. "Okay, I know we like each other, but for me, this is different. I've liked some people before, but it wasn't like this." You started playing with your hands because of how nervous you were, and even though she didn't say it, Suki thought that it was adorable. "I'm sorry if I'm kind of rushing things up, but I truly think I'm falling in love with you. I've never felt this way before, you're the first thing in my mind when I wake up and the last one when I go to sleep. I've been feeling like this for a while now, and I just needed to say it out loud."
You turned your gaze to the side, and she cupped your face, making you look at her. She smiled softly and pressed her forehead against yours. "I think I'm falling in love with you, too, (Y/N)," she whispered, as if she was afraid of breaking the peace of the moment. "I feel like I'm the luckiest girl in the world whenever I'm by your side," she closed her eyes and you could feel her breathing.
"Can I ask you something?" You said. She softly nodded and pulled away just a little to make eye contact with you. "Would you give me the pleasure of being my girlfriend?" You asked. You were blushing and she was too, but she still started nodding with her head, not being able to let the words come out of her mouth.
"I'd love to, (Y/N)." You two smiled again, and then you cupped her face. You pressed your foreheads together once again and then you shared your first kiss, and you realized right there in that moment, that being with her was all you wanted to do for the rest of your life.

You and Mako had never liked each other. There was something about him that you just couldn't stand, something that made you want to punch him in the face every time you saw him.
You two practically hated each other.
But you weren't sure why Mako seemed to dislike you so much, you had a good relationship with everyone in the group, even Wu, who was Mako's best friend. However, your relationship had been like that ever since you two met, he was very dry all the time, and that completely frustrated you.
The thing you hated the most was the way he cared about everyone else. It made you angry because you wanted someone to care about you the way he did with all his friends. You wanted your mum to care about you that way. You loved her, but sometimes she could be a little too distant and cold and sometimes it made your blood boil. You knew it wasn't fair to let out your anger on him, so you tried to hold it inside, but sometimes you just couldn't help it. And you also hated how cute he was, how you had a huge crush on him.
Mako on the other hand couldn't stand the way you acted around everyone. You were Lin Beifong's daughter, so your main goal in your life was to be as perfect as she was, to make her proud, but he didn't know that. He thought that you were so arrogant and self-centered, and it just made him want to roll his eyes every time you two were in the same room. But for some reason, he also wanted to talk to you. He didn’t like you at all, but he still cared about you even though he’d never show it.
So when everyone wanted to go on a camping trip together, he wasn't a big fan of the idea of you joining them. There was a huge tension from the very first day, and everyone was aware of that.
It was time for you to set up your tents, and since you'd never been camping before, you had to ask for help - which was something you hated to do. You figured you'd ask Bolin, mainly because he was the closest person to you, and you were a bit lazy to walk, but also because he was always very kind to everyone.
"Hey, Bolin?" You said, making him look at you. "Could you maybe help me with my tent? It's the first time I'm doing this and I'm totally lost," you chuckled, but your smile disappeared as soon as you heard Mako's voice.
"Wow, so there's something that you don't know how to do? It must be killing you." He only mumbled it, but it was loud enough for you to hear him. His brother hit him on the shoulder and you just took a deep breath.
"You know what? It's okay, I'll figure it out. I don't want to bother anyone," you whispered the last part and started walking away before you got a response.
However, you heard Bolin calling out your name from behind you, and he told you that he would help you. You thanked him and in less than thirty minutes, your tent was all set up.
"Thank you so much, Bolin. I never would've done it without your help!" You started to arrange your stuff inside the tent, and he walked back to his brother.
"I don't know why you hate her so much," he said to Mako. "She's really nice."
"Yeah, she's also very cocky and annoying. You're only saying that because you don't know her."
"Well, you don't, either," he commented. "Maybe you should give her a chance."
Being alone in the darkness of your tent made you think about the past before you managed to fall asleep.
You first joined the famous Team Avatar when you helped your mother find Korra when she got kidnapped by the equalists. You also helped her save Tenzin's family, which resulted in you losing your bending.
Losing such an important part of your identity was the worst thing you could've imagined, and you still had some nightmares about that night, repeating it over and over again.
And tonight was one of those nights.
You’d finally fallen asleep and you woke up with sweat covering your entire body. You touched your face, trying to get rid of the sensation of Amon’s hand on your forehead, and noticed you were shaking. You started to feel constricted inside the tent and decided to get some fresh air.
You sat far away from everyone since you didn’t want to wake them up, and put your legs against your chest, hiding your face. You wanted to cry, you wanted someone to hug you, and you wanted to stop feeling so weak. You hated that you were still haunted by that memory, and you hated that you were too scared to tell anyone about it.
"Hey, can’t sleep?" You heard a voice behind you. You turned around and saw Mako standing a few meters away from you. When he realized that it was you, his expression changed completely. "Oh, I didn’t know it was you," he mumbled. You nodded slightly and turned around again. He thought that it was weird how you didn’t mock him or said anything to him like you always did. "Hey, are you okay?"
"I’m fine, Mako. You can go now." You were about to cry and it was totally evident in your voice, so he ignored your words and sat next to you, leaving some distance between you two.
"Do you want to talk about it or…?"
"Stop it, Mako. We both know you don’t care," you mumbled. Tears started falling down your face, and you turned to the side so he wouldn’t see you.
He ignored once again what you said and let out a sigh. "I do care, (Y/N). Why would I be here if I didn’t?"
"Oh, I don’t know. Maybe because you’d absolutely love to see me like this since you hate me so much," you said, looking at him. He opened his mouth to talk but you lifted your hand, signaling for him to stop. "I thought I told you to leave, but since you didn’t listen I guess I’ll leave." You got up, and he did too.
You started walking away and stopped when you heard his voice again. "Why are you leaving? I’m just trying to help."
"Well, I didn’t ask for your help! I didn’t ask for your fake sympathy! I didn’t ask for any of this and yet here we are." You didn’t care about possibly waking the others up anymore, and you also didn’t care that Mako was seeing you like this. You just wanted your fear and that stupid relationship you had with the boy in front of you to stop.
"Ugh, why do you have to be like that? Why do you always try to be so perfect? It’s so frustrating and annoying," he said. You took a deep breath and decided to walk back to your tent, you didn’t have the strength to keep fighting, you just wanted to keep crying, hoping that you’ll feel better in the morning.
When you got up, you saw that everyone else was already awake. You knew that everyone could see that you’d been crying, even you could feel how swollen your eyes were, and you suspected that maybe they’d also heard you and Mako last night. You tried to ignore them and decided to go and sit near the river so you could be alone, but when you got there you saw that Bolin and Opal were there, and also Mako. You still stayed there and sat away from them.
A few minutes later, they all got up and you thought that they were leaving, but you were surprised when you saw Opal walking towards you. The two boys followed her but stood a few meters away from you, waiting for the girl.
"Hi, (Y/N)," she said. You smiled softly and greeted her too. She kneeled next to you and grabbed one of your hands. "Are you okay? I heard you screaming last night and Mako kind of told us what happened."
"Oh, I’m sure he did," you mumbled. "I’m fine, Opal, you don’t have to worry. Thank you for asking." Mako scoffed at your words, and you glared at him. "Is there something wrong, Mako?"
"No, it’s just funny to me how you’re so kind now, you know?"
"Dude, what the hell is wrong with you?" You stood up and started walking towards him.
"(Y/N), Mako, why don’t you just calm down? There’s no need to fight," said Bolin, trying to ease the situation.
"No, I want him to tell me what’s his problem!"
"You wanna know what’s my problem? You are! You and your attitude, always pretending to be Ms. Perfection!"
"Maybe we should let them talk..." you heard Bolin say to Opal but stopped paying attention to them once they started walking away.
"I’ve never done anything to you! And yet you’re always annoying me. If you hate me so much then stop paying attention to me," you started walking from side to side. "You have no idea of why I act the way I act, you have no idea of what’s like to be my mum’s daughter! You don’t know the pressure I’m under, trying to make her proud all the time, and it’s even worse when you come and just bother me all the time." He tried to talk, but you just didn’t let him.
"You don’t know what it feels like to still have nightmares about Amon taking my bending away, or what it feels to feel so alone all the time! Not everyone has a perfect friend like you who’s always there when you need it, okay? But of course, you wouldn’t know what I’m talking about. No, you’re so worried about annoying me with your words and your perfect face all the time. You don’t know anything about me, Mako!" You stopped talking and took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself down.
"I didn’t know about any of that, (Y/N), I’m so sorry, really." He made a pause and looked at you. "But you’re not a saint here, either. You get irritated just by looking at me, and you always have something to say to me, too!"
"That’s because I can’t stand how nice you are! I’d do anything to have someone like you in my life, Mako! You’re always so attentive to everyone and you know it! It makes me sick because I’d love for you to be that way with me too." You mumbled the last part, but he still heard you. You wanted to make a hole in the ground and never get out of there, and for a moment you actually thought about doing it.
"Did you just say what I think you said?"
"No, I didn’t. Of course I didn’t! I’d never confess that I like you in the middle of a fight."
"Not even if I told you that I liked you too?" He took a step towards you, leaving you two face to face. He couldn't believe that he'd actually said that out loud; it wasn't a secret anymore.
You made eye contact with him and you could already feel your heart racing. You licked your lips and you both stood there, waiting for someone to say something. "Mako, I-," you were interrupted by him grabbing your face and pressing his lips against yours. You immediately wrapped your arms around his waist, pulling him closer to you.
You two pulled away since you needed to breathe, and pressed your foreheads together. "I'm sorry for being such an asshole," he said. "I promise I'll be there for you whenever you need me."
"I'm sorry for being an asshole, too. I guess that a part of me didn't want to admit that I liked you."
"Well, I'm happy to know that you do," he said before kissing you again.
