So I binged the entirety of How To Build a Sex Room last night and this one scene just cracked me up

The designer's at a western leather/tack store looking for supplies to make a rustic-style sex swing and turns to one of the store employees for advice, which initially goes about as amusingly as you would expect

So then she pulls up some pictures to give him an idea of what she needs

And he's Immediately like

The professional disgust, I'm living

Oh damn, this line-guessing game is a lot harder than I expected! Because you, oh-so-crafty @dude-watchin-with-the-brontes, chose a line that exposes one of my favorite tropes: Bond being unable to hold back his doting/yearning feelings for Q in an intimate moment. I counted at least seven of my fics this line could legitimately appear in! (Seven! WTF Sam?!) 

After way more second-guessing than was warranted, I'm going to guess this line comes from Above Honey and Everything, my 00Q interrupted-honeymoon fic.

anyway the actual point of fandom is to inspire each other. reading each other's fics and admiring each other's art and saying wow i love this and i feel something and i want to invoke this in other people, i want to write a sentence that feels like a meteor shower, i want to paint a kiss with such tenderness it makes you ache, i want to create something that someone else somewhere will see it and think oh, i need to do that too, right now. i am embracing being a corny cunt on main to say inspiring each other is one of the things humanity is best at and one of the things fandom is built for and i think that's beautiful
