You reminded me that there is no limit to what God wants to do through me and in me …i unashamedly have enjoyed the company of prophetic clients who I have done their hair over the years . #Long Post Part 2 Out of the blue I got a call from someone asking if I still needed a plumber .. I was like ‘yeah if you come at all ‘ he apologized for the delay getting back to me . Rushed from old National back to fayetteville to show them the space . Looked at it talked price and plumbing was settled . I still hadn’t painted the walls , electrical undone and a long list of things to do before grand opening..how I was going to move furniture from Old National to Banks Crossing , Fayetteville 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫. If you will be obedient to the stirring in your heart God is going to honor your child like faith #justonestep is all God is asking . He always lights the way after that one step , to give us clearer instructions for the next step we need to #trust .. As God will have it ,David & Ion were truly God sent . They literally came in and took over from there . Electrical , plumbing , painting and every other task on the list .. these guardian angels contractor knocked down the list . The best contractors ever to work on any salon locations I ever built in 15 years #godsent Today David has gone onto owning his family restaurant @addiktiveblendedflava best #CarribeanRestaurant in Atlanta !! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I drive an hour and 10 mins to get there . If you build another God will surely cause you to build yours !!! Sharing to hopefully inspire and cause you to take action , be bold be full of courage even with doubt in your heart Final Cost to Open the Fayetteville location about $20,000… that was back in the day when we used debt , got a $13K credit card for 15 months 0% APR to finish the project . #Longpost This week 2015 🎉🤣🥲😭🤣🎉…that was 7 years ago … Faith walk and crazy obedience to God ‘s leading . I signed the lease for #niasoulesalonfayetteville location with only $4000 as my budget to finish out the entire space … took over the space and then every issue you could think of began to unfold in my eyes … roof leaks , walls needed to be torn out and rebuilt, trying to find the right plumbing point … with my $4000 budget 😂 my plan was to put in some sweat equity to save cost . I had no one to do building signage yet .. and the list keeps going on … I was over my head 😵‍💫at this time but I remember saying I have come this far now , I can’t go back . It’s a shorter route to the finish line than backing out . Grand opening was approaching fast … with no sight of us being anywhere close to being a salon ready to welcome guests . But God … Favor always shows up when you are obedient! Though you may not understand everything. God always has worked with me and am sure you when we take little baby steps .. On one of my trips to @lowes. Fayetteville I met this Caucasian brother Kevin is his name I will never forget . I asked him tiles or pipes or something then the conversation went to other stuff and I told him am trying to build a salon . He said he did floors … well come see what I got … he came said he could do floor viola ! ✅ Flooring off of the list . I went back to my old stomping ground Craigslist to find plumbing 🪠called and emailed no one answered yet .. asked folks I knew to refer a plumber , one came and never showed up . 3 days nothing done about plumbing.. time is ticking away .
