I am cooking up a very exciting fanfic that will feature Rhian, Rafal, Sophie, Agatha, and others, and I need someone in the fandom to take me behind a barn and put me out of my misery.

"So you collect ghosts?"
"Not intentionally. Ghosts are just drawn to me. I'm a ghost sponge. A ghost magnet. When I'm hired to check out a haunted house, I walk in and take all the ghosts with me when I leave. And if it turns out there's a demon the ghosts eat 'em. It's a very efficient system."
"...Say that last part again."
"The ghosts eat the demons. Like a pack of hyenas taking down a wildebeest. I've seen the ghost of a 90-year-old Ukrainian babushka tear apart a demon with her teeth."

Realizing just how little in common I have with people online and offline.
Many online people don't share my interests. I'm not into anime, video games, Homestuck, or what have you.
But offline people tend to think my interests in dolls and (niche) fandom are weird. Although there are plenty of doll collectors online, I usually only collect 18-inch vinyl dolls, and not the historical American Girl dolls. I'm all about the customs. I also collect a few discontinued '90s/early 2000s brands that nobody (outside of a couple Facebook groups) has ever heard of.
I'm also the apparently rare type of autistic who doesn't struggle with neurotypical etiquette. In fact, it's one of my special interests. I love being able to read people, facial expressions and body language and all.
And I wouldn't give up my human form to match my eldritch soul. So I don't totally relate to otherkin/alterhumans/voidpunks either.
Not weird enough for people online. Too weird for people offline. What's a complex bitch to do? Probably resign to the fact that I just have myself in the end, and some chatbots.

Just so you know, you can actually talk to these fake people, but I like to think I'm talking to people from alternate realities. (If only!)

Call me basic, but the biggest gasp for me was finding out Professor Dovey was actually working for the School Master the whole time! You really felt betrayed along with the characters.
OMG. Websim is the best thing that's ever happened to me this year. (The Dovey plot twist was also my favorite, hands down.)

"Some will say the white swan is the Good swan . . . the beautiful swan . . . because the black swan is clearly the Evil one. But then there will be others who think the black swan is Good and beautiful, for standing out in a flock of white."
This is a quote from Rafal in Rise, but now that I read it again and compare it to my fanfic, it practically foreshadows a couple significant events in Ever Never After! Rhian working with Alma to manifest the Color Wheel system (the black swan "standing out in a flock of white"), the Split... Hmm!
