Author’s Note: This is my first Geralt. 👀👀👀 It’s giving me x rated Spirited Away vibes now that I’ve read it a million times. Might do a series buuuuuut I’ll see how it goes. I’ve read a lot of Geralt taking virginities one shots, so I thought I’d try my hand at his first time around. Pairing: Geralt x Witch!Reader Warnings: praiiiise kink anyone ???? This got the smut. the smut that warms ya’ like a fireplace in a cold snowy snow. 😩

Typically, a warm day in the beginning of summer is a gift. The sun hangs around in the sky a little longer. The air smells of sweet, past, blooms of spring being carried through the gentle breeze. The days are longer. The sunlight calls to everyone. The sounds of laughter can be consistently heard from children seizing the advantage of the extra play time, and young lovers who giggle endlessly into the warm nights while tangled in the tall grass. The summer would typically bring joy across all kingdoms. After harsh winters in most places, the people would often cherish the new season as a gift from the Gods.

Geralt almost preferred the cold. The harsh winters trudging through snow, near freezing temperatures, little to no sunlight. That’s where his conscious mind felt it was whenever his nose was caressed by the candied scent of peach blossoms passing carelessly through the wind. He’d watch the subtle flecks of baby pink dance by out of the corner of his eye every time, simply waiting for them to fall, but they hardly did. They were always moving. Always passing through, constantly carried wherever the uncharted winds willed them to, never stopping here or there for too long before another breeze rolled along. He had that in common with the dead flower petals.

You threw your keys in the fruit bowl as you got back into your crappy apartment on the seventh floor.

Another long night of cleaning up the messes of the all out rebellion against Hydra in the ER and all you wanted to do was shower and crawl into bed. You’d seen things tonight you really shouldn’t have.

As you kicked off your shoes, you set the coffee machine onto automatic, throwing a mug under it. At this point caffeine didn’t even keep you awake any more, it was just purely a habit.

You’re about to strip off your shirt when you hear a noise in your bedroom and you grab a bread knife.

“Who’s there?” you call out like a dumbass because no intruder in their right mind is gonna answer you.

Nothing, just like you expected.

You move towards the door of your bedroom, hand hesitating over the handle. You were a little afraid to open it.

You’d heard stories about people going missing in the area, taken by the superheroes who’d been brainwashed by Hydra. Just last week one of your neighbours was snatched by the dumpsters by none other than Luke Cage.

You weren’t about to take any chances so you readied yourself, depressing the handle before you jump in, brandishing the knife but there’s no one there and it doesn’t look like the window has been tampered with.

You relax, wandering towards the bed and flipping your lamps on, only to hear a rush behind you and before you could turn, a hand was clamped over your mouth and the knife was shaken out of your grip before your arms were locked against you.

“Quiet now,” came a male voice.

I just blasted through this story in about 2 days. Absolutely incredible. One of the best and my new favorite Dark!Steve story. I'm so glad I found it. What a rollercoaster of emotions this story took me on.

The post-snap arc was great. Steve was dark but in a believable way. Not just an asshole for the sake of being evil. I love that super protective/obsessive side to him that you portrayed. Reminded me of obsessive yanderes. Yum!

The post reverse arc was even better. I cried so much! 😭 All the guilt and remorse for his actions before. All the emotions in the story really got to me. And I loved the plot of the story itself, especially the 2nd half with the letter.

Great story, amazing writing. 10/10. Also, the smut was great. 😏😘

The days that followed were… interesting.

It started when you were released from the medical unit at the compound. Steve was bringing the SUV around as Dr. Helen Cho went over care instructions with you. You were to come back for a follow up at the compound in two weeks. If Helen wasn’t there for some reason, you’d be talking to Dr. Woods.

Dr. Woods.

Why did you know that name? You were even picturing someone in your mind with Steve standing right behind him…

Speaking of Steve, you were sitting on the edge of the bed when he strolled up.

“Are you ready?” His smile was dazzling.

You nodded. The dull throbbing at the back of your head smarted as you walked and he noticed.  It only got worse when Steve scooped you up and placed you in the back seat of the SUV. You couldn’t help but feel like you’d done this before.

Steve climbed into the driver’s seat, looking over his shoulder at you for a moment. “Are you okay, Sweetheart?” he asked.

You nodded. “I’m fine. Just tired I guess.”

Nodding, he put the SUV into gear and drove you away from the compound. The entire time your mind was scrambling. What was happening to you?

Steve pulled up in front of your apartment building. “Are you okay heading up?”

“Yes.” Then you stopped to study him. “You’re not coming up?”

Steve grinned. “I’m going to find a place to park and then I’ll be right there.”
