Annoying and funny
24th of February 2018
We were doing grocery shopping. We bought shampoo, laundry soaps and such, and foods/snacks. So, I bought a Strawberry flavored Hello, Panda biscuit and I ate it while still buying/looking for foods to buy because I was hungry and I had cramps. I think we all know that we can eat the products that we buy and pay it later, right? (or was it just in the Philippines? CORRECT ME IF I’M WRONG).
Anyway, when we were at the cashier, my elder sister left me to buy in a Pharmacy Store and I was tasked to pay the stuffs we bought (using her credit card, since I have no money and work). Then, I was busy placing the products on the cashier table or whatever you call it. And then, the assistant/wrapper employee asked me if where it should be place, and I said “in a box (if you are a Filipino/Filipina reader, then you would understand what I mean).” He placed the products on a big box, which it will definitely fit to what we bought. But then, he looked at me for a second and talked to the cashier, “I think it’s too big. *laughed and turned to me* Ma’am, will you handle to carry it? I probably should change the carton (box) so that you wouldn’t be difficult to carry them.” So, he changed it and later on, he and the cashier both realized that I bought too many. They thought I only had few and that’s the time that I realize their shttiness.
I was slightly annoyed by the fact of how they judged me on my physical appearance. I admit that I’m thin, but it doesn’t mean that I’m “this,” I can handle it to carry bags or something heavy things. I don’t need the pity you are giving me. I believe and so confident on my body that I don’t care what people say. I just hate being judge by my actions or what I am capable to do. I know that they’re just worry and concern, thank you but no, thank you. I can handle myself and I will seek help if I needed one.
Anyway, I already paid the bill and we went home already. We were already in the tricycle (it’s a Filipino transportation, search it if you’re curious) on our way home, and then I realize something. I FORGOT TO PAY THE HELLO PANDA!!!! I told my sister that and then she laughed, like who wouldn’t?! I JUST SHOPLIFTED. Well, I did NOT INTENTIONALLY did it. I know, I made a mistake. I forgot to pay because I put the package of the product in my pocket and because of what happened in the cashier. Also, I was spaced out (ALWAYS). But guys, don’t worry. I’ll come back to the mall and pay the food because that’s just how we would and we should do it. DOING THE RIGHT THING.
So, the lesson for today is: NEVER EAT THE SNACKS THAT YOU ARE BUYING IN THE GROCERY, WHILE DOING GROCERY SHOPPING. AND NEVER JUDGE HUMAN IN ANY ASPECTS.
