Nothing beats snakes, crocodiles and other reptiles at a corporate party or event. Adult reptile shows for corporate reptile parties are now well-known in Australia as the Snakeman from Melbourne has literally brought the snakes from the swamp and into Australia’s corporate boardrooms. Big dog-tame pythons are the main staple of these wildlife education events and of course, everyone wants to hold the animals. But besides this are the crocodiles, deadly snakes, frogs and all sorts of things. Remember, only the Snakeman’s reptile shows are safe as only the Snakeman has the expertise to have vet certified surgically devenomized snakes at his reptile party events. Learn more about the best corporate reptile parties for adults at: http://www.reptileparty.com.au/corporate_parties_Melbourne_1.htm and get ready for a wild time!

Adult reptile parties in Melbourne are of ever increasing popularity!
In Victoria, Australia, the Snakeman and his crew are well-known for the best live reptile shows in Australia. While reptile parties are thought of as a kids activity, this notion has been turned on its head in recent years. Pioneering the adult reptile party in Melbourne, the Snakeman has changed the concept of wildlife and learning about them.
From the class room to the night club.
And guess what? It is a huge success. The snakes like it as well, as it is a change from the boredom of sitting in a cage all day. Learn all about educational and hands on adult reptile parties at: http://www.reptileparty.com.au/adults_parties_Melbourne.htm

China gets a newly discovered species of snake! OK, it is a crocodile in this pic, but on 25 May 2023, China got a new species of snake. A dangerously venomous species of Krait no less. Formerly treated as a western population of Baungarus fasciatus, the west Chinese specimens from around Yunan turned out to be a completely different species.
Snakeman Raymond Hoser published a major scientific paper describing three new species, one from the Mekong river drainage, another from the central Thailand plain and a third from northern Borneo. Download a pdf of the paper at: http://www.smuggled.com/AJH-I62-Split.htm

Grabbing a snake for a wind cheater is not normally what one does on the way to do a field survey on bats.  But snake man Raymond Hoser and his team are sometimes a bit out of the ordinary. Whether it is surveying bats, snakes, frogs or invertebrates, the Snakeman Raymond Hoser and his dedicated team are onto it. They also train dogs to avoid snakes in world first canine snake avoidance, as well as bat protection by way of teaching dogs to shoo off predators and a lot more. Learn more about the great work of the Snakeman’s team of helpers at: australianbatclinic.com.au

Kids reptile parties are always the rage when there are animals to be seen. Like this lovely friendly Coastal Taipan sitting on the snake handler’s head.  Please don’t tell the kid’s these things are crazy killing machines that will kill you within minutes of a bite. Luckily the snake man prays to God before every kids reptile party to ensure that the children’s party is safe for all. But because he does not trust the Catholic God, he has taken the added precaution of making sure the snakes are tame and surgically devenomized, so even if they bite a kid at the reptile birthday party, the snake will not die of food poisoning.

Creatures of the night includes frogs, snakes, lizards and even bats, as seen at http://www.australianbatclinic.com.au where we have lots of educational material and resources about this often neglected wildlife.  Whether in NSW, Queensland, Victoria or anywhere else in Australia, you may encounter a bat at the time and place you never expected.  They literally are everywhere. They live in a sort of shadow world, where we avoid them and they avoid us and rarely do paths cross. But rarely is the operative word and sometimes we do cross paths.
If you see a bat in your travels, savor the moment as it may be a long time between drinks!

Who would have thought of a frog as a good pet? Well at http://www.extremepets.com.au this is exactly what we think.  Frogs, snakes, lizards and even possums make great pets! Native animals are not often thought of as a pet proposition, but we think this idea should change.  OK, so they are not as interactive as dogs and cats, but the upside is that they won’t complain if you go on holiday for a week and leave them on their own. In Melbourne, Victoria and all over Australia more and more people are into wildlife and reptiles as pets and even things like entertainment in the form of a kids reptile party.

In the city of Moreland in Melbourne, there is amazing wildife in the parks, gardens and even in people’s private back yards. This includes species like the Weigel’s Skink, or Weasal Skink, Saproscincus mustelina. This specimen was seen in the Otways Ranges, but they look much the same along Merri Creek and other parts of Moreland. For those who missed it, the city of Moreland has recently had a name change to  Merri-bek City Council.
This was because the old name had links to racism and slavery.

This may look like just another small frog, but it has been one of a number of animals making waves in recent years.  There are lots of species of innocuous small frogs out there and scientists make great strides in telling them apart. But it is not all clear sailing. There is a lot of rivalry and at times this descends into chaos.  The rule is first named is the name and the scientist who makes the discovery is entitled to be recognized for it.
Quite simple really.
But when a scientist of fake scientist doesn’t like the status quo, they may engage in an action called taxonomic vandalism.  This is when they illegally rename the same animal and try to get others to use their name, instead of the correct one. Taxonomic vandalism is dishonest, unethical and also highly illegal. It is a breach of copyright laws and the rules of the International Commission of Zoological Nomenclature, which binds pretty much every government and scientist on the planet.
This has now however discouraged the notorious Wolfgang Wuster of Wales, UK. He has been engaging in taxonomic vandalism for decades and worse still encouraged others to do so.  So it comes as no surprise that the words taxonomic vandalism and Wolfgang Wuster are synonymous.

The snake man Raymond Hoser is seen here with the world’s deadliest snakes in the form or a fist full of Taipans. These are the ones with the black and white faces. The inland Taipan as seen here is the number one deadliest snake on the entire planet. So please do not copy Raymond Hoser and his snake handling methods as shown here, unless you are prepared to die. This is real and yes, you may end up dead. In any event you need to be licensed to be able to handle these snakes and breaching the license laws and getting caught may be a fate worse than death!.
