All true. But small towns will either make or break you. Do you accept your fate like everyone else in this tiny town or do you want to make something of yourself and get out. They're glamorized because of the people who make it out of them.
I don’t get how people can glamorize small towns when they are all just a mix of racism, roids, meth, and somehow both broken dreams and an inflated sense of self worth

Different
Over the years I've realized many things. One of them being that I'm different. In a good way. I have a heart whereas others around me do not. People are cold. Numb to feeling. I however am not, and that can be good or bad depending on your view of the situation. I used to hate myself for being different. Hated that I felt when nobody else did. Hated that I was not like others. Then one day I realized that if I was like everyone else I would be stuck. Just like everyone else around me. While everyone is trying to find their piece in the puzzle, I'm creating my own. That's a beautiful thing to think about. From the time I realized that and on I have promised to always love myself and I make myself promise every day. Times get tough. Life sucks. People hurt people. Things don't always go your way. But life moves on. Don't think you're always to blame. Love yourself like I've learned to love myself.

Remember the little things she tells you. Save every picture she sends you; when you’re up late at night thinking about her, you’ll be able to see her too. Take screenshots when you facetime; thats the real, unposed side of her that you can’t get enough of. Learn about her past and show her that you care and understand. Show her off to friends and strangers; talk about how her smile is your favorite and all her little quirks that she doesn’t even realize she has. Text her when shes sleeping but you’re up at 3 am and can’t think about anything but her; tell her how you feel and how happy she makes you. Support her through everything whether you understand it or not; make an effort to understand if you don’t. Value every minute you spend with her. Tease her and be silly with her; show her a side of you that other people haven’t seen.
Show her that shes yours, even if she isn’t yet. (via infinityguitars-)

"He’s not mine," she said. "And I don’t think he ever will be." "And maybe that’s a good thing because things are never how you imagine and having expectations only ever sets you up for disappointment." "But I can’t help but wonder what lying in his arms would be like," she told the sky, "I can’t help but imagine being close enough to feel his breath on mine and his skin on my skin." She closed her eyes and felt the wind run it’s fingers through her hair, and imagined he was beside her. "He’s going to kill me you know," she whispered to the moon,"he’s going to commit murder and the worst part is he won’t even know it."
