Found an italian-russian course from 1956 at my local second hand shop! I have no intention of learning Russian, but it was such a fascinating piece of history and design that I was enchanted by it and had to get it :)
After finishing the A1 section in my italian/finnish learning book, before continuing into A2 territory, I wanted to consolidate my basics and knowledge and decided to get Suomen Mestari.
I'm really enjoy the book so far, it's very well structured, and I think I'm a bit of a freak because I noticed I REAALLY enjoy doing exercises on the book haha. It's just so fun.
I'm feeling very good about my learning journey, and I'm looking forward to finish this book and continue unto A2 territory. I'm also taking private speaking lessons on iTalki, which have been going well, my teacher is super sweet and encouraging and I'm really hoping to break my shyness and start speaking more :)
Mun puhukieli notebook! Tässä kirjoitain kaikki joka on hyödyllinen mulle kun opiskelen puhukieltä. (shortened words, rules, spoken words, useful sentences, etc...)
I had a 10 day long migraine (very fun!) that basically prevented me from doing anything that wasn't sleeping on the couch, and so I also had to postpone studying for that amount of time.
I've refreshed and caught up with studying today (feeling a bit overwhelmed like everytime I take a pause and go back to studying haha), but I'm also really excited because I have booked 1 on 1 speaking lessons with an iTalki teacher for next week!!! :D
Speaking in finnish is my biggest insecurity, and I basically have 0 experience with it, since my previous course focused almost only on grammar and basics. So I'm really looking forward to doing some actual conversation practice with a teacher !
