why is voltron seen as bad? /gen

hey so i just binged watch voltron for the first time. I watched it with my brother who had already seen it and advised me to skip season 7 and 8 and just watch the epilogue (like the last minutes of the last episode) i quickly skimmed through the last seasons and for that part i understand. it seemed really boring and disjointed, and a bit too much at time. and some characters really lacked characterization and personnal agendas but why are people saying it's THAT bad ??

genuinely what happened, i don't get it ? was it a "you had to be there" moment or was it something exterior to the show ?? pls

The fact Nico is Dionysius' favorite kid in the camp, literally the only one he remembers the name apart from his own children and also the one kid he gives free therapy to, and all this favoritism is completely random and Dionysius never had any reason to do that except the fact he just vibes with Nico, will never not be funny to me

Percy and Nico are so funny. Nico trusts Percy, going so far as to reassure his sister Hazel about it, yet doesn't think Percy trusts him in return. On the other hand, Percy trusts Nico enough to leave convincing Hades to him, but he also believes that Nico has lost faith in him since the time he let his other sister, Bianca, die.

There is so much trust and yet no trust at all. Absolutely spectacular.
