I can also imagine the scenes if he said slurs on the radio.

I can also imagine the scenes if he refused to apologize for said slurs after a formal complaint.

I can also imagine the scenes if he constantly yelled at his team after every small inconvenience.

I can also imagine the scenes after many smaller things I don't have the energy to list.

Like I said, you don't need to like Lewis. You don't have to like seeing him win. You have every right to hate him. Because that's the nature of every sport.

But there is a huge difference between 'I'm gonna hate him because I can, because I don't like his team or him winning' and 'I'm gonna hate him because he's the only black person on the grid so I'm gonna hold him accountable way more than others, constantly look at his hands in hope to see another irrelevant justification of my racism, while praising fellow white men for behavior way worse than the one I hate Lewis for'.

See the thing that infuriates me the most about this season is that Max is doing literally all the things people hated on Lewis for and he’s getting praised for it. He’s getting pole, leading the whole race and winning and suddenly it’s because he’s an impeccable driver. He’s winning with crazy stupid time advantages and suddenly it’s not because he clearly has the better car, but because he’s just that good. He screams at the team over the radio but oh it’s okay because he’s just passionate, not rude. He’s slowing down before the checkered flag and people are praising him for it instead of calling it for what it is: arrogance. Which is precisely the thing that Lewis haters criticised him for.

I would ask what changed but I think it’s crystal fucking clear. And it’s disgusting.

charles leclerc is the epitome of ferrari he lives and breathes chaos he injects violence into his veins he will not stop until he decimates the grid overtake by overtake and leave them a shaking mess behind him. he is on a warpath and is only getting stronger. the red team are too scared to give him the best car because they don’t even want to know what will happen when his is given that much power. he punts his wheelbarrow onto pole one week and fights back from 19th in the next week. you can love him you can hate him but as soon as he gets out his car and looks at the reporter in post race interviews with his big eyes and messy hair you know it’s game over anyway
