it’s crazy how much diversity there can be in one species…these are all pictures of the same bird species (red-tailed hawk)

I haven't purchased a HP item in close to a decade - I use the books I already had as doorstops or to prop a laptop up for meetings nowadays.
There is NO "death of the author" with JK Rowling - she controls and continues to profit from her IP, and uses that money to fund hate groups.

Anyway, does anyone who still has these games have a Chespin, Fennekin, or Litwick with their Hidden Abilities? I need those and have my own HA Pokemon to trade for them

Continuing my Lunar New Year challenge with Smaug from Tolkien's Hobbit. (I soon regrated deciding to draw him on his pile of gold.)

I just discovered foodtimeline.org, which is exactly what it sounds like: centuries worth of information about FOOD.  If you are writing something historical and you want a starting point for figuring out what people should be eating, this might be a good place?

I think Smaug had the right idea, the ultimate weighed blanket of thousands upon thousands of pounds of gold laying on top of you as you sleep, like shit I’d take a sixty year long nap too man

Luigi's Mansion contains unused code for a fully implemented ghost radar. Note how the yellow part of the ring on the Game Boy Horror in the bottom right of the screen in the footage always points towards the nearest ghost to Luigi.
This was only ever seen during the game's early trailers (hence the recreation with the clock, which is not present in the finished game), and was already absent in the game's playable demos. It is unknown what caused the developers to remove a feature that was clearly already finished and would have been useful for the player.

I’ve been bursting to show you all this model! This is my very first dragon design to actually make it from drawing board to brick! And I’m so happy he was ready in time for the year of the dragon!
He’s part of a set of models I’ve been working on this past year themed around fairy tales. I’ll post about some of those soon!
Please excuse my arm in the last photo. It does show how big he is though!

Geological horror. You find a geode and crack it open and the crystal lining its walls is human blood that can't be genetically matched to anyone. You find a human skeleton but every one of the bones is made from rock, a rock that you know can't be whittled into those shapes. You find layers of clay and loam that sport ancient fossils at the top and the still-rotting corpses of modern animals at the bottom.
