Stand-in FAQ

How to elect a story and/or author:

Send us an ask with the story title, the author and if known, if the author is a person of colour. This information helps us determine which lists are applicable to add your submission to.

If you only wish to nominate an author, or their whole masterlist, just include the same information as above, minus the story titles.

If the author is not a POC, it is still okay to submit their story, please specify that they are not (if you don’t know, no worries!).

Dark!fics and smut will be accepted, and will be marked as such on our masterlists.

Over the next couple of days while we sort everything out, there may not be much content so bear with us. Check back for updates!

why there is not any muslim reader list but there is jewish reader?

we have a tag for brown readers, as I myself come from a muslim background, but don’t identify as muslim. the same goes for the term ‘Arabic’. I don’t identify as Arabic necessarily, but i find myself able to consume fic titled as such and still feel seen and I felt using this term instead of muslim or arabic (which many brown folk may not identify with) was a better solution.

This blog is still under construction, and if you would like to make a suggestion, we welcome them. I (aura) will not accept the exclusionary tone of your ask. Jewish folk deserve their place here.

However, i ask in all sincerity, would you prefer a list for muslim readers, or will the brown reader list suffice? within the latter, where applicable, we would note if a fic has a muslim reader, or any other specifics!

Luna by Persphonesorchid who is a poc, it's not available on Tumblr but is on her Ao3 under the same username. It's a Loki x Black!Oc fic and it's truly amazing!

I'm a Latina author and while I have poc story ideas and original work that's being written, I haven't written any specific poc!reader fics for tumblr, would I still be able to be listed here? No worries if not, I was just curious and thanks so much for creating this space.

Absolutely! If you’re a writer of colour we are more than happy to list you under our Writers of Colour section, even if you have not written specific POC fic! We will be coming up with an FAQ soon!
