The Nice Robin outfit was particularly impressive with the painting/texture you achieved! Do you have any advice on finding and reading references for materials like super shiny leather?

I'll be so candid and say that I mostly just Follow My Heart in terms of textures these days but leather in particular so I don't know any good sites to look for something specifically like that though narrowing your search down to PATENT LEATHER may help you.

As for advice, I think the main way to give it that oomf is adding those blues & browns and sharp edges (use lasso tool don't smooth everthing out!) The reflections in the leather give it that realistic feel, so getting all those colours in there with the sharp edge really helps sell it. Also highlights.

#HES ALIVE BUT MY GOD IS HE BEAT UP #blythe was almost on the market again

Was rewatching a cutscene from Diablo 4 and *man* am I still disappointed with what they've done... I really enjoyed the art direction, the story (Give me any story centered on motherhood/evil mother who loves you in a fucked up way and I genuinely eat that up, yum yum - Lillith unironically best demon in that franchise), the soundtrack and the honestly up until endgame the gameloop was fine.

I gave an honest effort to endgame (I think i got to level 80 something?) but it just got less and less fun with the constant nerfs....I Loved Diablo 3 endgame because it was fun to just make bonkers builds and speedrun the rifts, and their decisions (greedy) to nerf enemy density/build dmg/drops is just...man. What squandered potential....Diablo was never about being balanced it was about what bullshit you can break in endgame to get revenge on that second boss that was spanking you in the beginning of the game (Duriel)

I will say I haven't touched D4 since S1 so if that's changed lmk!

I hope that this follows the redemption path of Diablo 3 & yeah I'm a sucker who'll buy the DLC because Diablo is a franchise near and dear to my heart, but I just get sad at how they massacre it...please...I believe in you....make DLC good...Reaper of Souls was good...please

#i played diablo since i was like. /6/. its a franchise i genuienly grew up with #i played it ...i was bad at it but i certainly played it! (had my dad beat duriel & diablo for me because they made me cry from frustration #the HYPE i felt. and i LOVED the story. the cutscene in hell made me cream myself #i got the collectors edition and i dont regret it because the merch actually was really cool #the artbook/candle/map are at my desk
