omg could you write an eddie munson x reader where the reader is murray’s daughter (kinda hippie likes fleetwoodmac wears long flowy skirts and crystal necklaces etc) and in season 4 ( kinda an AU) they bring eddie to murray’s to hide for the night and she sneaks into his room to smoke weed with him and helps him chill out as he’s anxious from the situation.
sure! I'm still pretty behind on requests & I started school which is already hell AND my computer was broken until today, but I will try my best to catch up and then I'll do this for ya :D

Missing Part 2 (Billy Hargrove x Reader)
Tumblr media
*not my gif*
Part 1 Part 2
Summary: Billy helps find you in the Upside Down (I think I made it gn reader, but honey is used as a nickname)
Warning: Kidnapping, angst, cursing, kind of anxiety?
Word Count: 2,410
A/N: Sorry I’ve been kind of slow on writing, school’s starting soon and I have a lot of stuff going on. Leave it to school to make me not want to do the things I actually like :/
~
Billy covered his face with his hands again, rubbing his eyes. He exhaled loudly before looking up. “Shit, that’s all true? That all happened... here? And- and that’s why Max and (y/n) were at the house with Steve and why Max was being so weird and- oh my God,” Billy rambled.
“Yeah, and now (y/n)’s there and we have to help them,” Hopper said.
“Damn right we do! Why are we just sitting here doing nothing while they’re fucking dying? Didn’t you say the air is toxic or some shit? We have to help!” Billy shouted, standing up abruptly.
“And we will, but you can’t go. Leave this to the adults; we’ve done this before,” Hopper replied, just as loud.
“I’m going and you can’t fucking stop me! (Y/n) has been a part of my life since I moved to this shithole town and I’m not about to start living without them! I’m almost an adult and I sure as hell know how to take care of myself. So fuck you if you try to stop me, because I love (y/n) and without them I would fucking die in this goddamn place!” Billy screamed, sitting back down.
“I can’t-” Hopper started.
“Jim...” Joyce whispered. Hopper looked at her and sighed, shoulders slumping.
“Fine. On one condition. Anything, and I mean anything, starts to go wrong, you run. You get out of there and don’t look back. Now is not the time to be a hero, alright? We go in, we get (y/n) we go right back out. No brave or  daring acts, kid. You run. Got it?” Hopper explained sternly. Billy nodded.
“Yes, sir,” Billy said seriously. Hopper stared (glared?) at him for another second before nodding once.
“Okay then. Let’s go. Joyce, you know where the gate is?” Hopper asked, turning to her.
“Yeah, the kids told me. It’s a half hour from here, if we hurry,” she replied.
“Alright. Come on.”
~
Billy jumped out of the police car, slamming the door and running to the gaping hole in the ground.
“I’m assuming that... that’s it?” Billy asked.
“Yep,” Hopper muttered with disgust. “Ladies first,” he grumbled, gesturing to the gate. Joyce scoffed and slowly stepped inside before disappearing in the slimy opening. Billy followed her, Hopper right behind him.
“Whoa,” Billy grunted, landing roughly. He stood up and looked around. The pulsing gap that connected his world and this was about seven feet above him. But he had fallen down? What the hell is this place?
The darkness was the first thing he noticed. It seemed to consume everything, and things that should have been bright and shiny were dull and dreary. There was no light here, except for the occasional lightning flashes in the sky, illuminating the ominous terrain for moments before allowing the gloomy shadows to take control again.
The next thing he noticed was the temperature. A bitter coolness seemed to hang in the air, an icy sensation that sent a shiver down his spine. It felt as if cold fingers were tracing over him, pulling him and sending piercing ice to the depths of his heart. It was so, so cold.  He hated it here already and he’d barely taken a step.
The last thing he noticed before Hopper pulled him ahead was the silence. There was no ambience here. Aside from the occasional squelching of wet vines and the faint, intermittent rustling of things he’d rather not see, this other world was silent. Billy could practically hear his heart beating out of his chest.
“Come on, we don’t have all day,” Hopper muttered, walking forward. Joyce followed him.
“Down here, we don’t have day at all,” Billy responded. Hopper shot him a cold glare, though not as cold as the biting atmosphere that seemed to suffocate them. Billy rolled his eyes and trailed behind the adults. “Where are we going, anyway?” He asked.
“Well, when Will was down here-”
“Who’s Will?” Billy cut Hop off.
“He’s my son, and he was stuck down here for a while. We got him out, and he’s okay now. But he was at our house a lot, so we’re going to (y/n)’s house to see if they’re hiding there. Seems like they would take any comfort they could get down here, and I don’t blame them. I would come home too,” Joyce mused. Billy stopped in his tracks.
“Well if they want comfort, (y/n) wouldn’t go to their house,” Billy commented. Joyce and Hopper turned around. “Yeah, they don’t like it there any more than I like my house,” Billy continued.
“What the hell do you mean?” Hopper asked.
“I’m just saying, if (y/n) wanted somewhere they felt safe, they wouldn’t pick their house, that’s all,” Billy said defensively. Hopper raised an eyebrow and stepped closer to Billy.
“Was there anywhere they did like to go? Anywhere that meant something to them?” Hopper asked. Billy shook his head and looked down, thinking.
“Um...” He stared at the ground, biting his lip. Suddenly he looked straight, then up at Hopper. “Wait, yeah, the theater. We- we go there all the time, and that’s where I asked them out. Um, they told me they go there sometimes to think?” Billy said hopefully. Hopper stared at him for a second.
“Then I guess we’re going to see a movie. Let’s go.”
~
After what felt like hours, the theater came into view. “Oh my God, there it is. (Y/n)’s there, come on!” Billy shouted, starting to run. Hopper put a hand in front of him to hold him back. “What are you doing?” Billy asked.
“Be quiet, we don’t know if anything is here. These monsters like to hunt, and we might be fun prey if they’re close.”
“Isn’t that just a reason we should hurry? What if those fuckers are in there with  them already? We have to go!” Billy urged. Hopper pushed him backwards.
“And we will, but if we’re dead, then nobody’s coming to help. Got it?” Hopper reprimanded sternly. “Let’s just be cautious. We don’t even know if (y/n)’s in here.”
A shrill roar pierced the air and the group ducked behind a building. A creature appeared from nowhere, with too-long arms and milky skin. It roared again, shaking the earth. It put its face to the ground and stalked towards them. Billy was practically shaking as it stood up and looked right towards them. He saw Hop reaching towards a broken piece of brick and stood up, keeping his back to the wall. He slowly inched to the opposite edge of the building, throwing it away from them and out of sight. The creature snapped its head back at the sound and dropped to all fours, running down the street away from their hiding place. Billy had to cover his mouth to quiet his panicked breathing.
When all seemed clear again, Billy exhaled. “What the fuck was that?” he gasped.
“That was a demogorgan, and the reason you can’t be screaming to your heart’s content out here,” Hopper responded sternly. After another minute, Hopper slowly stepped out onto the street and looked around. “It’s okay. Let’s keep going. But for (y/n)’s sake, keep your goddamn voice down.”
Billy was getting more and more impatient as the small group approached the building. His heart was racing, and he felt like he would burst if he didn’t get in there right this second and help you. When he reached the door, his patience snapped. “(Y/n)? (Y/n)?” he called. He sprinted down the hall, pushing open the doors to each movie room and glancing in quickly to see if you were there. Joyce and Hopper ran after him, calling out, but couldn’t keep up. He flung open the second to last door in the hallway and looked over it, moving to run out before his heart stopped for a split second. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the outline of a figure lying on the ground.
It was you.
Billy’s breath caught in his throat as he froze, staring at you. You were still, your limbs splayed out in a way that seemed unnatural. Snapping out of his daze, he stumbled toward you.
“Billy!” Joyce shouted, opening the door. Hopper almost ran into her, but they both stopped at the sight of Billy’s slow movements and your motionless body.
“Oh God, (y/n), no,” Billy whispered. “No, no, no, no, no, no, it can’t be you, it can’t be you.” He fell to the ground, kneeling before your body. He shook you. “C’mon, (y/n) please.” He shook you again. “Please, please, please!” he begged, his voice rising as he choked on his words.
No response.
Billy lowered his head and sobbed. This isn’t happening. This is a nightmare. This isn’t happening. He repeated it over and over in his head. But something pulled him out. He felt- no. Was it? Billy looked down at you, the tiniest spark of hope flickering in him. “(Y/n)?” he whispered again. Your hand twitched slightly, almost unnoticeably. But Billy saw it. He could breathe again. He lifted you up in his arms, pulling you close so he could hear your heartbeat. It was there, but it was faint. He looked back at Hopper and Joyce, standing silently in the doorway. “They’re alive!” he shouted. “We have to help, hurry, help me pick them up!” They didn’t waste time running down and pulling you to your feet.
“(Y/n), I need you to open your eyes for me, okay?” Joyce said. “Can you do that, honey?”
Your eyelids fluttered for a second, and the hope in Billy’s chest grew. “(Y/n)? I’m here, honey. I got you, just please, please open your eyes,” he whispered.
“Billy?” You looked up at him, practically limp in his arms. Your vision was blurry and your voice was almost gone.
“Oh my God, (y/n). Yeah, I’m here. I got you, I’m here,” Billy whispered, tears in his eyes.
“Water,” you coughed. Joyce fished a flask out of her backpack and brought it to your lips. It was a little stale, but to you, it was heaven. You drank almost half of it before taking a breath.
“Good, that’s so good, (y/n). Can you walk?” Billy asked.
“I- I don’t know,” you murmured.
“I’ll help you,” Billy said. He put his arm around you and placed your arm on his shoulders. You knew he was practically carrying you, but it did help you walk. With Billy supporting you, you could limp well enough.
“Okay, now let’s get out of here before anything comes and ruins all of our warm, fuzzy, happy feelings,” Hopper said in a tone that indicated his true meaning which was along the lines of let’s hurry up and leave right the fuck now. He didn’t want to be down here any longer than he had to, and it wasn’t hard to understand why. Everyone else felt the same.
You tripped constantly walking out of the movie theater. You could almost feel yourself ebbing away as you used the last of your energy trying to push yourself towards home. Billy offered to carry you several times, but you declined. You didn’t know why, but you felt guilty about them coming down to save you, and you would’ve felt even guiltier if Billy had to carry you all the way to the gate. Although, the more exhausted you got, the more tempting his offer sounded. He kept glancing over at you, worried, each time asking if you needed help. And each time, you insisted you were fine. You hated yourself for it, and you didn’t know why. Maybe the toxic air got to your head.
It took longer than expected, but finally, finally, they got you to the gate. Now the challenge was getting you up through it. Joyce had rope in her backpack, but you obviously didn’t have the strength to climb up.
“Um, okay,” Billy started, running a hand through his hair. “Um, how about I go through, and then, um, (y/n) can stand on your shoulders,” he said, gesturing to Hopper, “and then they can go through and I can pull them up on the other side?”
“They are not standing on my-”
“Hop,” Joyce said sternly. Hopper looked between her and Billy, scoffing, before he looked at you. You were weak and barely standing. His eyes softened.
“Fine. Just hurry, please,” he relented. Joyce smiled at him and began climbing. Billy went up soon after. Hopper stepped toward you. “You ready, kid?”  Silently, you nodded. He bent down and moved his hands back so you could stand on them if you needed to. The situation was so absurd and the position he was in was so awkward that you laughed slightly. Hopper looked back at you, a small smile on his face. You jumped onto his back like a toddler and positioned yourself so that you were crouching on his shoulders. You felt like a freaky parrot, and the image of a parrot in your shoes was enough to make you laugh again. I must be delirious, you thought. It’s not that funny. Still, you were fighting giggles as you slowly stood up. You were still feeling faint, and you wobbled slightly. The opening was only a few inches above your head, but it felt like a huge gap. You shakily reached toward the edge. The second your finger brushed it, you grabbed onto it like your life depended on it.
Now that you were steadier, you stood up taller. The top of your head pushed through the slimy layer, and you reached up to where you knew Billy was waiting. A second passed, and then a warm hand grasped yours. You clung onto Billy’s hand as you pushed further through the opening. Adrenaline pumped through you at the sight of your world. You pulled yourself up Billy’s forearms as he lifted you. You fell into Billy’s chest and he hugged you.
“I was so fucking worried, (y/n), I thought... (y/n)? Hey, shit, are you okay?” Billy’s voice was laced with anxiety as you swayed. Your legs gave out and you fell over, Billy almost dropping you.
Billy’s voice yelling your name over and over was the last thing you heard before everything went black.

Hello! I love your writing and was wondering if I could make a request? If it doesn’t interest you I totally understand!
Basically my idea is y/n X billy. Y/n is a bit nerdy and not really all that popular but was caught up in the upside down stuff and her and billy managed to strike up a friendship and end up becoming best friends (eventually they confess their love for each other). He really trusts her and opens up about his dads abuse. One night after a fight with his dad he takes max (they actually get on a lot better with y/n in their lives. But he doesn’t want to leave max with his incase he hits her too) and goes to y/n’s to get patched up and as she is cleaning his wounds. Dustin and steve come in asking if she wants to do a movie night or something but stop when they see her patching him up and max watching. They ask what happened and surprisingly Billy’s honest about it and they realize he isn’t as bad and he makes himself out to be and try to help figure out a way to get both max and billy away from his dad.
Or something along those lines possibly 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Missing (Billy Hargrove x Reader)
Tumblr media
*not my gif*
Requested by anonymous
Summary: Billy finds out you went missing (set around the end of season 2)
Warnings: Kidnapping, angst, cursing, possible violence
Word Count: 1,039
A/N: I might do a part 2 for this one
~
You hadn’t been answering your phone all day. Billy knew you were probably out with your friends in the morning, but now it was almost 10 at night and you still weren’t picking up. He tried to reassure himself, saying you were probably too tired, or too busy, or spending the night at your friend’s house.
Wait, he had your best friend’s number, didn’t he?
He waited impatiently while the phone rang, drumming his fingers on the wall. Goddammit, did nobody else in the world have a phone? He was about to hang up when he heard a “Hello?” Billy’s shoulders relaxed as he brought the phone to the side of his face.
“Hi, yeah, this is Billy,” he said, exhaling loudly.
“Oh hey! How are you?” your friend inquired in a cheery tone.
“I’m fine. Um, is (y/n) sleeping over at your house?”
“Nope!”
“Did you guys hang out earlier today? Go shopping, maybe?” Billy asked, fear growing in his chest.
“No, I haven’t seen them all day, sorry!” your friend replied, oblivious to Billy’s anxieties.
“Okay, thanks,” Billy grunted, shoving the phone back into its place. He turned and ran to his room, slamming the door. He leaned against a wall and grabbed the nearest trinket from his desk, just to throw it down. “Fuck!” he shouted, burying his face in his hands. Why were you avoiding him? Were you mad? Did he do something wrong? No, that was impossible. He actually hadn’t done anything that you could “find out about” because he told you everything. And he hadn’t done anything that would make you this angry since before you two were even together. Plus, he knew that if you were mad you would seek comfort with your best friend, who definitely would’ve seen or heard from you at some point. No, Billy was completely stumped.
~
Two days later at school, nobody had seen or heard from you since Friday. Billy asked everybody he could think of that he thought you might hang out with. He even asked Harrington, but no luck. You seemed to have disappeared into thin air. No notes, no calls, no goodbyes, nothing. Billy couldn’t concentrate on anything at all, he was sick with worry. All that mattered right now was finding you.
~
On Thursday, he couldn’t take it anymore. This was the longest he had been without any contact from you since he’d known you, and he was not going to suffer in silence anymore. He drove to your house, marching up to your front door and knocking harshly.
“(Y/n)? (Y/n)? Are you here? Please, God, tell me you’re in there or I swear I’ll-” The door swung open, shocking Billy for a moment.
“(Y/n)’s not here,” your parent whispered. Dread began to settle in the pit of his stomach as he asked a question he was pretty sure he knew the answer to.
“Where...?”
“Gone,” your parent replied. “I haven’t seen (y/n) since Friday morning.”  Billy stumbled backwards, his worst fears confirmed. He ran to his car, speeding away and breaking almost every possible driving law on the way. Finally, he pulled up to the police station. Billy never thought he’d be here willingly. He flung open the door and strode inside, ignoring Florence’s protests. Hopper’s door was open a crack, and Billy pushed the door out of his way and stared at Hopper angrily.
“What do you need, kid,” Hopper said in a stressed voice, barely looking up from his desk.
“I need to file a missing persons report!” Billy practically shouted.
“Listen, kid, if this is some kind of prank-”
“It’s not a prank!” Billy yelled. “(Y/n) is gone and you need to-”
“(Y/n)?” Hopper asked. “This (y/n)?” He flipped to the front of the file that read MISSING PERSON and CLASSIFIED: DO NOT OPEN EXCEPT FOR CHIEF OF POLICE. On the top of the manila folder, paperclipped to the corner, was a picture of you.
It was you.
Billy felt his legs give out and he collapsed into a chair behind him.
“Oh my God, oh my God,” he mumbled, covering his face with his hands again. “What the hell happened?” he asked.
“Well, I can’t-” Hopper was interrupted by Joyce bursting through his door.
“They found another way in! We can get (y/n) back!” she shouted. Billy’s head whipped to look at her.
“You know where (y/n) is?” he whispered, sounding broken and angry. He looked back at Hopper. “You know where... and you’re not doing anything to help?” Billy stood up in a blind rage, screaming curses and insults at Hopper, at Joyce, at the world. Hopper stood up and pushed him down into the chair as Billy tried to fight him.
“Listen, listen!” Hopper yelled. “We have a way to get there now. We didn’t before. We’ve been looking ever since they were taken.”
“Great, I’m going to get (y/n) now,” Billy said angrily, standing up. Hopper sat him back down again.
“No, you’re not. That’s not your job,” Hopper scolded.
“You can’t tell me what to do, you- wait, did you say taken? (Y/n) got kidnapped? Oh my God, what the fuck? What do you mean taken?” Billy’s heart was beating faster and faster, his frustration bubbling up at this cop who wouldn’t help you so far, and this woman who wasn’t doing anything to save you even though she knew where you were now. Every second passing was a second you could be dying.
“Hop, tell him,” Joyce mumbled.
“I am not going to tell him, nobody else needs to know,” Hopper said.
“Hopper, tell him!” Joyce insisted. “He deserves to know.”
Hopper was silent.
“For (y/n),” Joyce whispered. Hopper sighed.
“Tell me what? What the fuck is going on? Where is (y/n)?” Billy’s questions poured out of him. He needed to know where you were, needed to know you were safe.
“It’s gonna sound crazy, okay? You’re gonna think I’m shitting you. But it’s true. All of it. And you cannot, cannot tell anybody. Deal?” Hopper said sternly. Billy nodded.
“Have you heard of Hawkins Lab?” Hopper asked.
Billy nodded again, silently.
“What about the Upside Down?”
~
Thanks for reading! I hope you like this, anon! I feel like it was a little all over the place since I’m exhausted right now, but I tried to make it gender neutral. Please tell me if I used specific pronouns so I can fix it :)
I might go back and edit this later but I haven’t decided

Gentle (Billy Hargrove x Fem!reader)
Tumblr media
*not my gif*
Requested by Anonymous
Summary: Billy stays overnight for the first time, but you’re afraid to fall asleep
Warnings: Past trauma, cursing, mentions/flashbacks of sexual assault, a little angsty, fluff at the end, possibly out of character Billy
Word Count: 2,585
A/N: Sorry this took forever 😭
~
“So, I’ll see you tonight then?” Billy asked.
“Yeah. See you tonight,” you replied.
“Cool. I can’t wait, sweetheart,” Billy said.
“Yup. I gotta go, bye.”
You hung up the phone without waiting for a response. It’s not that you didn’t want to see Billy, because you did. You had been dating for months and you loved every second you spent with him. But tonight was the first time he was going to sleep over at your house, and in one of your past relationships... well, let’s say that hadn’t gone well. You hadn’t let any of your boyfriends sleep over since then, and tonight was the first time in almost two years you were allowing somebody to stay the night.
Billy was so nice about asking, making sure you were 100% okay with it since he knew you had reservations about people staying the night, but you decided it had been long enough. You trusted Billy, and you were ready to try this again.
The next few hours passed quickly, and before you knew it, Billy’s car was pulling up to your driveway. You’d never felt dread seeing his car before.
Fuck. What were you doing? Shit, shit, shit, you couldn’t do this. You-
Your frantic thoughts were interrupted by the doorbell. Here goes nothing, you thought. You took a deep breath and smiled, opening the door. “Hey, Billy!” you yelled said (maybe a little too enthusiastically). Billy gave you a weird look for a moment before brushing it off.
“Hey, baby. How’s my favorite girl?” He returned your smile and stepped inside your house.
“I would hope I’m your only girl, Hargrove,” you said sassily. Billy laughed.
“You know it, sweetheart,” he replied, leaning over to give you a peck on the lips. You relaxed slightly, partially from the kiss and partially because you had successfully avoided talking about how you felt. How you were right now could be summed up in two words: not good.
It’s not that you didn’t love Billy, or that you didn’t trust him, because you did. You loved him possibly more than anyone you’d ever dated before. And you knew he loved you too, although he didn’t say it as much as you did. He definitely told you he loved you enough for you to be secure in that fact, but he was less expressive about his emotions, due to the “tough guy” façade he presented to the world. You understood.
You grabbed Billy’s hand and led him to your room, grabbing some of your favorite snacks on the way. You jumped onto your bed, rolling over onto your pillows. Billy sat down near the foot of your bed and looked at you, a tiny grin on his face.
“What?” you asked, wondering why he was staring at you. “Why are you looking at me weird?” Billy laughed and shook his head. You narrowed your eyes in mock annoyance. Out of nowhere, you grabbed one of your small pillows and threw it at him. He caught it, surprised, and started laughing.
Billy tossed the pillow back at you and put his hands up in surrender. “Jeez, I just think you’re pretty, doll. Nothin’ else,” he explained between laughs. You started laughing too.
~
He laughed at some dumb joke you made. “You’re hot. And kinda funny too, wasn’t expecting that. I’m glad you’re all mine.”
“Thanks,” you replied, heart fluttering at the comment. Nobody like him had ever paid attention to you before.
It was like you were watching a movie of your memories, watching your past self make your mistakes and not being able to prevent them.
Stop it! you wanted to scream. Go! Get far, far away from him. Run!
You couldn’t do anything.
~
“Hey, hey, you alright, sweetheart?” Billy snapped his fingers in front of your face, bringing you back to reality.
Billy is nothing like him. Billy is gentle.
“What’d you say?” you asked, part of your mind still caught in the nightmare.
“I said, are you alright? You were laughing, and then you stopped and were just staring at nothing. Freaked me out,” Billy said.
 Billy is gentle.
“Sorry. Zoned out,” you mumbled.
“’S okay, just wanted to make sure you weren’t possessed or some shit,” Billy joked. That earned a smile from you.
“Yes, I am the evil overlord. Bow to me and my legions!” you commanded in a fake deep voice, making Billy chuckle.
“Baby, you know I worship you every day,” he smirked. You rolled your eyes, though your heart melted at the lame pick-up line.
“So, what movie do you wanna watch?”
“Whatever you want, doll.” Billy didn’t really care what movie you watched. He just wanted to be with you right now.
After leafing through your selection of movies, you finally decided on your favorite, since you couldn’t choose between two genres. You’d probably seen it a hundred times, but you weren’t sure Billy ever had, and you were excited to share a movie that you considered a big part of your life growing up with him. As the movie started, Billy settled next to you on your pile of pillows. He slid his arm around you. At the first touch of his fingers on your shoulder, you flinched, but eased into his touch almost immediately. You scooted closer to him so you could hold his hand. As you laced your fingers together, a warm smile found its way to your face.
Billy is gentle.
~
Hours had passed, and it was nearly 11 o’clock. Normally, this wasn’t late at all for you or Billy, but you had plans to wake up early tomorrow and drive to the neighboring town to hang out. You both had decided to go to bed early so whoever drove tomorrow (although Billy rarely let you drive his car) wouldn’t fall asleep on the road.
You left Billy in your room to change while you washed your face, changed, and brushed your teeth in the bathroom.
As you were changing into your pajamas, you looked up into the mirror. You could practically see him in the mirror, watching you.
~
“Can you maybe... turn around? While I change, y’know...” you trailed off at his condescending gaze.
“I’m your boyfriend, I’m allowed to look,” he joked, trying to mask his annoyance at you.
“Right, I just... Can you just turn around? It’ll be five seconds,” you pleaded. He turned around.
“One, two, three, four, five,” he counted quickly, turning again to face you.
“I-” He cut you off.
“I’ll do whatever the fuck I want, (y/n),” he snapped, his tone indicating his word was final. You nodded in defeat.
~
You shook your head.
Billy’s never done anything like that. Billy is gentle. It’s okay. I’m okay.
I’m okay.
You repeated the phrase like a mantra to yourself while you changed. You probably sounded crazy, but thankfully, nobody could hear you while you were in the safe space of your bathroom.
“I’m okay,” you whispered one last time before stepping out of the bathroom with your eyes covered.
“I’m decent, doll, you can look,” Billy said, and you could hear the teasing in his voice. You removed your hand and looked at him, and you could swear your jaw dropped. He was shirtless, his hair was more disheveled than usual, and he was wearing his signature smirk. Of course. Not that you hadn’t seen him shirtless before, but him being shirtless in your room while you were about to share a bed was something else. You looked him up and down while he smiled at you. You cleared your throat.
“Um, should we...?” you questioned awkwardly, gesturing at the bed.
“After you, babygirl.” With one more nervous glance at Billy, you crawled under the sheets and turned over, facing away from Billy as he slid into the bed next to you.
“Goodnight,” you whispered, flicking off the lights.
“Night, sweetheart,” Billy answered.
Gentle.
~
You huffed, turning over again to look at the clock by your bed. 1:30 am. Billy had fallen asleep long ago, you could tell from his breathing, but you were unable to relax.
You had been laying like this, uncomfortable and anxious, for hours. You knew it was stupid, but you couldn’t shake the looming shadow of doubt that darkened your mind every time you closed your eyes. You stared at the ceiling, your face void of emotion.
Billy isn’t going to hurt you. You’re okay. Pull yourself together.
Your body tensed as you shifted on the bed again.
He’s asleep. It’s okay.
You sighed, your eyes burning from exhaustion and the tears that were threatening to fall.
What if, what if, what if.
No.
~
“Goodnight, (y/n),” he muttered.
“Goodnight,” you replied, trying not to cry. After what felt like forever, you finally started to drift off. But right before you fell asleep, you felt his hand on you. You felt his hand where you didn’t want his hand to be.
“What’re you doi-”
“Shh, don’t say anything. This is okay, I’m your boyfriend,” he tried to assure you.
“But I don’t want to-”
“Well you should’ve thought about that before you invited me into your home alone!” he shouted. His hands gripped you tightly now, pulling you into him. You writhed around, struggling to get away, pushing, hitting, kicking, anything to get him off of you, away from you. He was stronger.
“Let go of me, let go of me, please, please,” you sobbed.
“Shut the fuck up, bitch. I’m done with your pathetic whining!” he yelled.
“Please,” you begged weakly. A loud smack followed by a sharp pain in your cheek shocked you, and you looked up at him, hovering above you.
“I said shut up!”
~
You covered your face with your hands, trying to keep your ragged breathing quiet. You didn’t want to wake Billy up.
I’m okay I’m okay I’m okay I’m okay
You were practically hyperventilating, sensitive to every single thing in your room right now. The sound of Billy’s breathing, the ticking of your clock, the coolness of the sheets, the hot tears on your face. You tried to focus on Billy’s even breaths, attempting to calm yourself down and match your breathing to his. But what pushed you over the edge was Billy’s hand brushing your bare skin. Your shirt had hiked up slightly amid your tossing and turning, and Billy’s hand unconsciously reached for the warmth that was you. You generally didn’t mind him touching you, awake or not, but tonight it ended you.
“No, no, no, no, no, no, no,” you whispered. You rolled out of bed and stumbled to the bathroom, shutting the door behind you. You slid down the door and sat with your head in your knees, sobbing
“(Y/n)?” A soft voice calling your name pulled you the slightest bit out of your panic attack. “Baby? Are you okay?”
He sounded so worried. You felt guilty.
“’M fine, Billy.” Yeah right. Your voice was broken. Billy was smarter than that.
“Sweetheart, I don’t think you are. Can you open the door for me? Please?” His voice was still thick with sleep, but he sounded more alert now that he had confirmed you were crying.
Billy is gentle.
You managed to get out an “okay” as you stood up shakily to open the door. Billy stood before you, trying to read you and figure out what the hell was wrong so he could fix it. Nothing was supposed to make you cry. He wanted to hurt whatever had hurt you, but he had no idea how to.
“Shit, (y/n), what happened?” he whispered, as if he could hurt you too if he spoke loudly. Hurt you too. Too. He fucking hated that word right now. He didn’t want to hurt you too, as well, also, because he never wanted anything to make you cry.
You fell into him, throwing your arms around his neck. He returned the hug instantly. Slowly, he walked you over to the bed and sat you down, sitting close to you.
“You’ve been on edge all day. Talk to me, please. Are you okay?” he begged.
I’m okay I’m okay I’m okay I’m okay
You shook your head.
“No,” you whimpered. Billy bit his lip.
“Did I do something?” he whispered, dreading your answer. You shook your head again and he exhaled in relief. You were both quiet again for a moment before you spoke.
“Can you... hold me? Maybe?” you asked. Billy didn’t hesitate to put his arms around you and pull you close.
“Um, the last time I did... this... was a really, really long time ago. My ex, he was bad. He watched me change and stuff, I told him no but he said it was okay because he was my boyfriend. I’d never... y’know, dated anybody.” You paused to take a breath. Billy deserved to know the truth, you had to get through this for him. “I let him sleep over, and we were home alone and I was almost asleep, but he started touching me. And I told him to stop, I told him I didn’t want it, but he wouldn’t listen. I fought him, but he was too strong, and I begged him... But he... he wouldn’t... then he hit me, and I was terrified. Frozen. I couldn’t do anything, I tried, I tried...” You were beginning to panic again as Billy held you tight. “And tonight, I couldn’t sleep, I kept thinking about him, couldn’t get him out of my head. And I trust you, I do, I promise I do, and you’re nothing like him, you’re amazing, but it was too close, and I...” you trailed off, crying and burying your head in Billy’s shoulder as he rubbed your back soothingly. Your words had blended together from how fast you were talking, but Billy knew what you were saying.
“Fucking asshole. I can’t believe- who would do that?” he whispered.
“Billy... that night- when he- I’d never...” You broke off again. “That was the first time,” you finally said. You felt his whole body tense. “I’m sorry, I know it’s dumb-”
“It’s not fucking dumb, (y/n). Fuck, I can’t believe anyone would hurt you like that. I’m so sorry, I swear I wasn’t trying to pressure you into this, I didn’t do that, right?” Billy was still scared that he had done something to upset you, but once more you shook your head.
“It’s not you. Never you. You’re nothing like him. You keep me safe,” you mumbled into his shoulder. Billy said nothing but held you tight.
“Do you- do you want to try sleeping again?” he asked after a few minutes.
“Okay.” Your reply was almost inaudible. You got off Billy’s lap and laid down on your bed again, hiding under the comforter. Billy laid next to you, not touching you, but facing you. You reached out under the blanket and found his hand, using it to pull you closer to him.
“Stay close,” you murmured. Billy nodded and kissed your forehead.
“Always.”
“Love you, Billy.”
“I love you too, (y/n),” he replied softly.
You fell asleep like that, Billy holding you gently as you cuddled into his side. He rubbed patterns onto your back, your steady breathing lulling him. He could stay like this forever, just laying with you in his arms. You snuggled impossibly closer to him and smiled in your sleep.
You knew it all along.
Billy was gentle.

Steve Harrington x Tall goth black male reader?
Tommy and Carol messing with Steve at school until the reader who is dating him steps in and beats the shit out of Tommy ψ(`∇´)ψ
So… I’ve never written for a male reader before. This request made my heart skip a beat tbh because I have been eagerly anticipating it. A lot. But since I’ve never written for male reader before, would you be willing to message me privately with a couple things to help me a bit? I want to make sure that I write this the way you want when I do it.
