Hi Byler tumblr! I believe I said I was taking a break a few months prior to this, but I believe I won't be logging into my tumblr after this at all for the most part. I have had a glorious time here and thank you for making me feel like part of the family.

hihihi it’s been a while! I’ve been doing really good, lately, ever since I decided to take a break from this account, if you were wondering, so thanks for supporting me as I did that. You are all the best. I just found something and thought I might as well show you. You see, I had the beginnings of a fic I was really excited about in my wips and it was called ‘Mastering the Art of Memory’. I never went around to writing much, but I made chapter art for the first chapter, so I thought I’d give you that. I hope you’re all doing wonderfully and have a wonderful day :)

Explanation :)

As you might have noticed, I've not been active on tumblr for a while now. My last post was made about ten days ago. After my dog passed away and a few other personal things occurred, I took a while to take a step back from my online presence and reenter the lives of both my family and friends, realizing how much I had missed out on in the past year or so as I've fixated on my fics and this blog.

I'd just like to say, I never intended to be a big tumblr poster. I made my account to promote and update on my fics, but I never planned to create art or meet friends. I definitely didn't plan to have a sideblog dedicated to history-themed fanart or 160 amazing followers who laughed at and supported everything I did, no matter how ridiculous.

My adventure on tumblr and within this fandom has been thrilling and a great experience for me, but as I look back on how many hours I've spent trying to make my blog memorable and how many I've spent just waiting for notes and reblogs, I realize that I think it's time for me to leave it behind and start to go back to focusing on my relationships in my real life, as well as my future.

I'm not deleting my blog. Perhaps I'll still post from time to time, I'll still respond to Ao3 comments (and maybe even asks). I really want to go somewhere with @widowartonss too, so we'll have to see, but, at least for now, I think I will no longer be writing fan fiction or making silly fanart. My Stranger Things hyperfixation has finally run its course and I would like to dedicate my time to a lot of other things in my life, so I hope you understand if you don't hear from me much.

I am so grateful for the people on this website who have made my experience memorable, so thank you to absolutely every one of you. I will probably remember you for years to come, rest assured.

So, that's my explanation for my absence. I wish everyone on this site a very happy day and a wonderful, wonderful future. I'm sorry I can't be as active in this community anymore. That said, I'm always here if you need to talk :)

I just started reading this pirate AU by @rainypebble07 and I can tell I'm going to love it! Summary:

One unsuspecting night, the children of the duke, Mike Wheeler and his sister Nancy are swept away by a group of pirates aboard a ship called The Cleric. They soon learn that the pirates plan to trade them to an evil captain named Vecna as repayment for a debt. Mike convinces a crewmember named Will Byers that he can help the crew to solve this problem in a way that doesn't involve Mike as leverage and he sets off with The Cleric on an adventure to defeat the villainous Venca. Along the way, Will and the rest of the crew teach him that maybe not all pirates are as heartless as Mike thought. Little does everyone suspect, Will knows exactly how this adventure will end, and it isn't good.

hey everyone. Just a little update, I was planning to start posting little art requests again very soon, but my dog passed away this morning and I’m just not sure what my activity for the next few days is gonna look like. She’s been my best friend for many, many years, but, thankfully, she is no longer in the pain that she felt towards the end. I’ve not been taking it well so far since we were so close, but I hope to start posting again soon enough, though I know I’ll be very busy within the next few months.
