This a friendly reminder that being annoyed with someone is an emotion, justified and unjustifiable as any other inner feeling. Sometimes it’s their fault, sometimes it’s our choice to affirm the way we want to feel even though we shouldn’t. In my experience, it’s ten times harder to forgive someone for making me feel annoyed with them, than any other feeling in me. It’s up there with murder, and it’s all their fault. This is a friendly reminder that sometimes, maybe I’m just choosing to be annoyed because it’s just easier to not like someone. Being annoyed is perfect, because it doesn’t ever feel like an emotion we can blame on ourselves, because it constantly feels like them rubbing up against me the wrong way, which makes it feel like their fault. That’s what everyone wants, right? Well, wish me luck.

My manager pulls me to the side at work and asks if one of my other co-workers looks pregnant. I was shocked she asked me something like that. I mean, I've been working for that woman for years now and she's always been kind of immature, but she still manages to surprise me more and more with her unprofessionalism. She tells me she doesn't want to start rumors and not to tell anyone. Yeah, lady, okay.

You can tell who’s oppressed by what they are fighting for.
Women in other parts of the world fight to have an education, to be able to walk in the streets and not be stoned to death. They fight to be able to marry who they want. They fight to be able to live a healthy life.
Women in the western world “fight” to take a song off the radio, “fight” to not have to shave their legs. “Fight” to silence anyone who has a differing opinion.
Just a thought.

My boyfriend bought me this cute wallet/small purse on Yesstyle.com. He’s really sweet. We went to the mall and I saw a cute Kate Spade purse for $200 and begged him to buy it (I was broke). He didn’t want to at first, but then the next week — after he saw me sulking over the purse — he was willing to buy it, but I suddenly felt bad and told him no, because that really is too much money for a fucking purse. I suddenly got an idea and asked him to buy me this, instead. This was only like $70 on the website. He agreed and viola. They had different colors and the peach-colored one was super nice, but sold out, wah, wah. Got the light pink one. The downside is that the strap that it came with is a little too small, and I’m assuming it is because it’s from Korea, where all the girls are tiny ㄱ_ㄱ but, meh, what can you do. I’m currently using it as a wallet. Very useful. Anyway, I’m happy with it and grateful to my boyfriend. Thanks again, Zac.
