unsung benefit i think a lot of ppl are sleeping on with using the public library is that i think its a great replacement for the dopamine hit some ppl get from online shopping. it kind of fills that niche of reserving something that you then get to anticipate the arrival of and enjoy when it arrives, but without like, the waste and the money.

#i go to the library instead of the store ALL THE TIME #and bring home lots of books i don't even read #i feel a little bad about it but not for very long

i hate it when i cant even write a poem about something because its too obvious. like in the airbnb i was at i guess it used to be a kids room cause you could see the imprint of one little glow in the dark star that had been missed and painted over in landlord white. like that's a poem already what's the point

I've missed sketching horses... This is a quick-ish warm-up that I drew just to get drawing again. Done in Procreate on my iPad Pro. (And it was ultimately a real study in focusing on the parts that worked in my original sketch--which was not the eyes or ears or forelock, so I moved all those bits off the canvas and just focused on the horse's nose.
