I guess that's the beginning of my new series with Magical Girls as Goddesses lol

I watched Madoka Magica and it was pretty good. Pretty art inspiring so here we are.

I am really proud of this one owo

Kyoko Sakura isn't my favourite character personality wise but her story? Fucking priceless. I just really love those kind of stories that are connected to religion and tragedy xD I really love how this show portrayed it all until her end.

I wanted to draw her as a Goddess like Madoka (I will redesign her to my concept of deity too xD) and i really like the thought of her being a Goddess of Hunger because of her backstory and all of that.

Another Goddess of Madoka Magica! This time Sayaka Miki as Goddess of Unloved.

Spoiler below

Sayaka isn't my favorite character. But she is strong and selfless. I feel like she has been going to her doom since the very beginning. Her wish was given to someone who won't ever love her back. So her end wasn't a surprise bit it still was so tragic and beautiful. She deserves to be a Goddess. She deserves to be a patron of Unloved as she herself fought with her desperation. At least now she won't be ever alone again. She didn't die alone, so her life would be filled with love.

I really am hyped that people like my Goddess Au so far! I am enjoying drawing Magical Girls in their ultimate form as a deity.

Spoilers below (and a little rant)

Mami Tomoe is my least favourite Magical Girl. Her way of being, her actions... but I really like her story, she is very human. She is the only one who went with a wish that was only for her which is understandable. She was dying, of course she would choose to live in that moment. She is also very lonely. I wanted to give her this title at the beginning. The title of Goddess of Loneliness. But, in my opinion, Ignorance suits her more. I thought about it in a bad way at first because her ignorance made some tragic repercussions for all of them. But it is a way to live for her. She used her wish to live, she used her wish for herself and she was going to pay for it being a Magical Girl. She preferred to stay in her bubble, preferred not to think more about what everything means, what they really are. She just didn't react well because of all of that. She lost her friends. She lost her head. I think her would learn something from it and she would become the Goddes for those who Ignored and bring them Wisdom.

Long time no see! But I come back to you with another Magical Goddess - Homura Akemi!

I was thinking very long about her, how her outfit should look or what Goddess she should be. But in the end I think it suits her.

Spoilers below (like always I want to rant a little so bear with me)

I am quite proud of her outfit. I want in this series keep as close to their oryginal Magical Girl costumes as possible. They are what defines them. They are what they choose. It's like treir personality is everywhere, even in their outfits. And with Homura's it is the same. I think now her costume shows a little of the old her. The her from the beginning - so sweet and shy.

Now, why Loneliness... I had a little dilemma here. I had tho ideas for her patronage - this and Hopeless. In the end, I decided to go with Loneliness as I think it is more true to her. I do believe she felt hopeless (she tried to save her friend again and again and again and she had to feel hopeless not once in this whole ordeal). But she was still going forward. That's where loneliness comes to play. No matter how much she was determined... I just know she was so lonely. She is just a kid, a teenager that had a lot of a lot on her plate. Going through loops for eternity. Alone. Nobody with her, nobody remembering and in the end even not knowing her. It would be so lonely to be among people that one were your friends and now they think you are a villain, that they don't know you were their friend. And what hurts the most? That your best friend doesn't know. And she is the reason you are doing this. You are doing this for her and she doesn't know. So she became the Goddess of Loneliness for everyone alone in their world.
