my favorite pairings are the ones that you can’t even bring yourself to care if it’s platonic or romantic or sexual or all of the above they just need to be together and happy and happy together
RNC attendees tried to hide a demonstrator’s “No racism, No hate” sign with an American flag. Clearly they failed to see the irony. The protester was from the Code Pink group — who haven’t been slowed down by this at all.
Big Thank You to the content creators who have managed to produce anything in the past few months. And shoutout to the content creators who cannot right now, and are taking the time to find other outlets of mental/physical/social security. I’m rooting for you guys, take care!
I was thinking about Jinn and the big reveal with Ozpin and Salem and whatnot when I realized that Ozma asked the completely wrong question.
He asked, “How can I defeat Salem?”
How can I defeat Salem?
And when Jinn answered, “You can’t.” he took it to mean that Salem couldn’t be defeated. She only answered the exact question he asked which was how can he, Ozma, defeat Salem.
Not anyone else. Just Ozma.
This is obviously a very significant thing that everyone’s overlooked and I imagine there’d be a much different answer if someone asked, “How can Salem be defeated?”
I don’t think it’d be the same answer. Not in the slightest.
Personally, I think it’s much more likely that Ruby and/or the Maidens will defeat Salem. I’m not sure how or why, but that certainly feels like the direction we’re currently heading in.
the carceral feminist discourse on twitter right now is that “all women are terrified of being murdered by strangers every day whenever they leave the house and that’s why you should never talk to anyone in your community and we need more cops!” like, what a convenient conclusion to come to that doesn’t benefit the state at all, and that certainly wasn’t influenced by propaganda from true-crime podcasts and cop shows /s
shhh, don’t mention that the majority of homicide women face is either from their abusers (i.e. people they know, not strangers) or women of color getting killed by police. don’t mention that the majority of well-known serial killers specifically went after criminalized women (who did sex work or were undocumented) because they knew police wouldn’t care. don’t at all interrogate how white cis, civilian, female fear has been weaponized to justify a racial caste system in the united states for the entirety of the country’s history.
