OMARI AU- Sunny Boss Fight

LMAO so like i got really inspired in the new omori content in the game and the one that really got my attention is the Mari boss fight and Bossman Hero so i decided to omarify them all lol.

So a little bit of context, in this boss fight, when Mari or Hero (The "Basil" of Omari Au) attacks Sunny, he doesn't fight back as if he was just accepting it. And for some reason, when Mari or Hero feels any emotions during the fight, their health points (hp) will start to decrease. And only when Mari and Hero is near to succumb, Sunny will then draw in his sketch book to increase their health points and reset their emotions. Similar in the original game where Mari takes out a fresh fruit from her picnic basket to heal Sunny and Basil.

Also, Sunny in this boss fight only shows sadness and happiness as emotions. Later as the fight prolongs, Sunny will suddenly feel angry and it will be the triggering event for the boss fight to glitch, and will suddenly show Sunny's corpse that is unfinishedly buried in the ground, his whole body still shows. As Mari tries to fight it, it will take no damage as it was already dead, while Hero is too fear-stricken to move.

Mari with a purple hair!?

Okay a little bit of context: Remember when Aubrey said that Mari would dye her hair purple and Aubrey would dye her hair pink? Yeah, this was my headcannon of it, a short, purple haired Mari!

...anddddd, I also added a little bit of backstory into it!

After Sunny died from the accident, Mari became a miserable shut in, and was never seen out of her house ever again. Aubrey, who is worried for Mari, only gets bits of news that her mom went away and was never seen again, and that her dad is always out for work. Desperate, Aubrey knocked on Mari's door with purple hair dyes in her hands in hopes to cheer her up as Mari's one of favorite topics talk about is hair dyeing, back when everything was fine.

Mari, who thinks that it was just her Dad knocking on the door, opened it without hesitation, not knowing it was the twelve year old Aubrey who beamed at her and cheerfully saying hi. Anxiety slowly crept on to Mari's heart as she stares down at Aubrey with fear-stricken eyes. Aubrey brushes off the creepy look Mari had in her face, thinking it was out of shock, as she forcefully made way for herself inside Mari's house out of childishness.

Thinking it was rude if she kicked Aubrey out of her house, she let the kid enjoy herself on the couch (as she always did) then settled the hair dyes on the cafe table. Mari didn't know what to do, and the lasting image of a dead Sunny is still in her head as she can still feel a presence of a small figure behind her back, and guilt made its way into her mind whenever she see Aubrey, Sunny's obvious crush.

Noticing Mari's silence, Aubrey decided to get to the point. She invited Mari into the bathroom with her, grabbing her older sister figure's hand along with the hair dyes. Mari quietly complied, lost in her headspace of overthinking and guilt. Aubrey made Mari sit in a chair as she started to work with her hair, talking about different topics except that.

But Mari was still silent.

Her jet black hair had already turned light purple and she was still quiet. No, actually, Mari never even uttered a word ever since Aubrey came in. The usual Mari would greet Aubrey with a smile, bake cookies for her as a treat, talk about different topics, and then be shocked to realize they both like certain things. Mari would look at her so fondly, but now, it was as if It was a shell she left behind after being destroyed by Sunny's disappearance.

Aubrey became quiet after realizing the whole situation. Mari was Sunny's older sister, and the person that is the most affected when her sibling went missing. Yet she forced herself inside of her grief hoping to cheer her up. But in the last attempts to atleast, atleast make Mari happy, she finished dyeing her hair and turned her to a big mirror. Aubrey then started to clean up the mess she created with a solemn look on her face, and went out of the bathroom to throw it away.

And Mari screamed as she saw what was behind her.

Omari Au- Bad Ending

Notes: I doubt anyone would read this but sorry for not posting in a month! Anyways, a Omari au you asked and an Omari au you will receive! And note that I, by any means nescessary do not condone the idea of suicide in any forms. If you or any family members and friends have suicidal tendencies please go to the doctor and seek help.

In the bad ending of the original omori videogame, this was the content according to the wiki:

"If the player chooses not to continue after dying, OMORI will win control over SUNNY's mind. He awakens in WHITE SPACE again, and exits into the NEIGHBOR'S ROOM to be reunited with the party. However, rather than leave into HEADSPACE for another adventure, OMORI finds himself in SUNNY'S body, standing on the hospital balcony. The only option is to jump; SUNNY plummets to the ground as the credits play."

But I headcanon that if the player chooses not to continue after dying in Omari Au, It will be shown that MARI stops playing the piano and stands up, falling into the arms of her alter ego, HIKKI, before disappearing in white space, a sign of victory to HIKKI, taking control of MARI's mind. She then awakes in WHITE SPACE again, and like in the original game, she exits into the NEIGHBOR'S ROOM to be reunited with the party which is believed to be AUBREY, KEL and BASIL.

Rather than leave into HEADSPACE for another adventure, HIKKI finds herself in MARI's body, standing in the lone corridor of the hospital with no other way than to go straight, and the doors of the corridor being locked. She was holding onto her IV stand as she walks throughout the corridor. She then sees a small wooden chair in the distance, and the player will be given a text dialogue of:

After taking the small chair with her, she continues to walk until a transparent sliding door was visible in a distance, casting a faint shadow of a tree. After opening the door, a very big tree comes to light, and the player will be given a text dialogue of:

Like in the original game, choosing the NO option would prompt to MARI backing away from the tree, But there is going to be no progress unless she hangs herself. Opening the door to go back to the corridor wouldn't work, either.

And choosing the YES option would then prompt to MARI using the tube of her IV drip to hang herself and the wooden chair as a stepping stool, as the credits roll and Bo en's "My Time" plays in the background as her hanging corpse sway slowly in the wind as the background changes along with the beat.

Also, in the Good ending of Omari au, instead of the HEADSPACE variants of her friends going up the rooftop, they would go to the back of the hospital instead, where the tree is located. But this time, prompting to go there would cause MARI to shake her head, implying that she dosen't want to commit suicide. HERO's shadow would appear on the opposite direction, of course, where his room is located.

This maybe inaccurate, but i want to emphasize the idea of an alternate universe here in this headcanon. Because while Mari was being hanged by Sunny and Basil in the original game, wouldn't it makes sense enough that in the bad ending for this AU, she hung herself instead?
