She expressed multiple emotions all at once. Some easier to read then others and the way she bites her lip tells Leon that she is holding something back. But he doesn't question it. If it's something she wants to tell him--- he'll let her handle that in a manner she felt comfortable with. He wasn't one to pry after all. Not with an stranger; she was one at the moment. Hopefully, however, that could be changed. If it wasn't too late.

Once again Leon was back on the thought of her mother. The more he thought about it; he only got more frustrated. Trying to understand why she'd keep this pregnancy a secret from him. Trying understand what even drove her to keep it from him. Leon would have understood--- he would have helped. Offered any support she needed. Even if they weren't together. The agent wouldn't pull any of those stupid moves like boyfriends or exes often did to there girlfriends after they found out they were pregnant. He wouldn't have gone into hiding.

Leon grinned a bit hearing the soft giggle. It must have been his loss of words. It had to have been amusing--- because he was laughing at himself as well. But that little giggle. It was sweet. Gentle. Began to make him wonder what she must have sounded like when she really get out a laugh. Hell he wondered what anything about her would be like. There was just an exhaustively long list of things he wanted to know. Big things, little things. Anything really.

''No---'' He started, shaking his head a bit. '' No don't be sorry. It isn't like it could have been done any other way. Wouldn't make it any less of a surprise... If anything I'm--- I'm glad you decided to do this in person. Rather than a phone call or a letter.''

It was true. If it had been that case--- he would have put himself in a wreck of more thoughts then he already was. Seeing her in the flesh brought a good bit of closure. For him at least. No matter how sudden this was. It was something that would eat away at him till he actually got to meet.

''It is a huge deal and I'm glad that you're here. I can't even imagine how you must have felt just then, knocking at my door. That was extremely bold of you. Most kids wouldn't.... they wouldn't do that.'' He said, pausing for a moment. Processing his next words. He didn't want to make a fool out of himself. Well anymore so then he already has that is. ''I don't know why Josephine never told me. I'll be honest I'm not too happy about that. At all. But right now--- we're gonna worry about us. I'm not gonna make you leave, alright? Only if you want too. It is entirely up to you.''

In those moments when she felt so awkward to talk to the man who was supposed to be her father her anger started to spike. Not at him but at her mother. The woman had practically kept him a secret and only telling Ariana a name just to shut her up. What had happened between Leon and her mother that was so bad Josephine couldn’t tell her about? It couldn’t have only been his job could it? Her mother kept her from a man that was obviously willing to be a father. His eyes told her that he cared otherwise he could have kicked her out and told her to leave.

Ariana had to bite her lip to keep from cursing her mother in front of him. She would make sure to give that woman an ear full when she got back. That is if she decided to go back. Seeing Leon for the first time was bringing out emotions she never thought possible. It was new and awkward and scary but exciting. She shouldn’t have had to feel that way though. Having a father should have been the most normal thing in the world that she told him to go away and leave her alone so she could get back to whatever teens did.

Hearing him say her name made her place a hand on her chest. The anger turning into pure happiness. She had never thought what it would have felt like to her him say her name until that very moment. The satisfaction was almost too much. He was just as floored as she was about the whole thing. It made her giggle slightly at the thought of how speechless he was. It was cute. Ariana simply nodded as she placed the bag on the table. It was a bit heavy and it felt nice to relieve herself of it.

The guilt of putting him in such a state started to eat away at her. It was obvious he wasn’t sure how to handle the situation or even what to expect. He was just blindsided by the fact that he had a daughter.

"I know and I’m sorry. I didn’t want to spring it on you like this. I just didn’t know how else to do it. I weighed my options and just decided to go for it. I know this is weird.” The more she talked the more emotion she started to feel again. How many emotions could she seriously feel within a few minutes. It was exhausting.

"If you need time to think all this over I get it. It’s a huge deal and just had to meet you. I can go if you need more time or if you don’t even want anything to do with me. Everyone I am around knows what it’s like to have a father and I never got that thanks to my mother, but I can’t expect you to just drop everything and be my dad. It wouldn’t be fair to you." She was rambling and probably embarrassing herself, but she swiped at a few more tears and just looked up at him. Putting him in a position as awkward as this one wasn’t what she intended on.
