According to a recent report, Samsung is on track to launch Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2 in August despite the coronavirus pandemic. The ongoing pandemic has forced smartphone makers to temporarily shut down their manufacturing units and retail-shop in locations across the globe. Reports in the past couple of weeks have hinted the virus outbreak could also affect future smartphone launches. However, this new report says that despite the coronavirus outbreak, Samsung's schedule for launching Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy Note 20 smartphones remains unaffected.
Samsung has apparently begun preparing for its next Unboxed launch event with certain teams already back to the office. They are, however, proceeding with caution. An insider confirmed that preparations for the next Galaxy Note launch are underway with no delay, but the nature of the event is yet to be finalized.

Apple has just officially released iOS 13.4.1 and iPadOS 13.4.1 to the public and the update comes with a fix for the FaceTime bug that was introduced when Apple released the iOS 13.4 software update. It also fixes a bug in the settings app that could cause choosing Bluetooth from the quick actions menu on the Home screen to fail. This is a small bugfix release; it was not ever even released as a public or developer beta.
Apple accidentally introduced a bug in iOS 13.4 that prevents users from making FaceTime calls with older devices running iOS 9.3.5 or iOS 9.3.6. As you can imagine this was a major issue with many more people using things like FaceTime to communicate at the moment.

According to a recent report, Apple may launch the budget-friendly iPhone 9 a.k.a iPhone SE 2 tomorrow. Moreover, images of iPhone 9 placeholders listed on the Canadian Virgin Mobile activation site has also emerged.
From the looks of it, Apple may not go for a special launch event for the device due to coronavirus pandemic. Instead, the company might do a press release and make the phone available through its online store and purchasable from Telecom carriers as the company's stores are closed in most countries around the world.
There has been much debate regarding the possible name of the upcoming low-cost iPhone. Some reports stated that it would be called the iPhone SE 2, while others claimed that Apple would name it the iPhone 9. However, according to a new report from 9To5Mac, the new smartphone will simply be launched as the Apple iPhone SE. If we are to believe the story, Apple will also reference it as the 2020 hardware version.
