soppy w/ mingi
“mwah,” mingi announces loudly as he presses a sloppy kiss to your cheek. then a second, and a third, both with the over the top sound effect. you can’t help the way it leaves you giggling. mingi can’t help the way the sound only makes him tug you closer to him.
“what, you think i’m funny?” he teases, voice deep in your ear. his breath tickles against your neck leaving you wriggling in his grasp. fucking adorable, he thinks to yourself as he blows out a long stream of air against the sensitive skin. it only makes you giggle and squirm more, and mingi feels like his heart is beating so fast in his chest that it might burst free at any second. he can almost feel it clawing at the walls of his chest, desperately trying to get closer to you; you’re who it really belongs to after all.
he knew it from the day he saw you in that cafe. you looked so soft in that fuzzy white jumper that you hadn’t even realised you’d dropped your coffee on. the stain on the pretty fabric only made you cuter, and he just couldn’t hold himself back from stumbling his way towards you with his textbook dopey smile. looking back on it, it was kind of weird the way he just sat down across from you and told you his name. it’s even weirder that you somehow found him charming enough to go on a date with. he really should give you a talk about stranger danger…
“mingi, you’re tickling me,” you squeal between your bouts of giggles. he just blows another jet of air onto you in response. your laughter lights up the room like a bajillion fairy lights; it’s magical, and mingi would do anything to hear it forever, “get off me you clingy giant!”
he lets you wriggle free, watching as you stumble out of his grasp and turn to him with a bright smile. so pretty, so sweet, and you’re all his. the way you put your hands up into tiny little fists is adorable. when you fake swing at him, more pretty sounds of glee falling from your lips, he can’t hide his own grin. the fact that you can’t move fast enough to escape him as he catches your furled up fists in his own has him melting. fuck, he’s such a lucky guy.
“i asked you a question, baby,” he coos, tugging you closer to his chest. you gladly let yourself be pulled into him, bumping your forehead against his broad chest once it’s close enough to do so. the fists that hold yours let go, travelling to your face instead. he holds your cheeks like your face is the most precious thing in the world—to mingi it might as well be—and uses then to tilt your gaze up to meet his own, “do you think my love for you is funny?”
his tone is laced with teasing undertones, barely hidden by the overwhelming amount of love that spills from his mouth when he speaks to you. it bathes you in warmth, feeling like a warm cup of cocoa on a cold winter’s day. rich and heavenly, enveloping you in a soft blanket of comfort. you find yourself struggling to speak, a lump of pure adoration getting caught in your throat. you swallow it down before reaching up to press a peck to his lips.
“you’re always funny, mingi,” you coo at him. it feels so natural when your arms wrap around his waist to pull him impossibly close, your chin finding purchase against his chest. “it’s one of the many things i love about you.”
he scoffs, letting out a fake gag.
“that’s so soppy and gross,” he chuckles, as he returns the peck you gave him seconds prior. “i love you too.”
