The meowstic's eyes light up with joy as he takes the bag.

The meowstic slowly walks into the cafe, nose up repeatedly sniffing the air until he came to a complete stop in the middle of the room. Upon opening his eyes and seeing the delicacies before him he couldn't help but drool as he slowly made his way to the glass

These look so good....so hungry...but.....no money

Okko's face fell to a saddened one as he continued to look at the numerous pastries and desserts he currently couldn't afford

"No money hm..."

"Alright, just this once, you can have anything you want. It's on the house. Would you like some Shaymin Shortcake? Or a Sylveon Custard Slice?"

The sudden voice startled the meowstic, causing him to tense up and look at the source.

W-What? Are you sure? I can work for it! I really don't want to just get one for free...

Okko looked back to the various desserts, unsure if he wanted to accept the offer.

A small riolu peeks out from inside of Azel's tail, she crawls out, and offers Vesta a Pecha Berry

Azel: "Oh hey Vi, didn't realize you tagged along."

Vi: "Mhmm! You're pretty!"

Vi would look in awe of Vesta, giving a genuine smile

Vi: "Can-Can I feel your fur?"

She would hold her paw out tentatively

Vesta smiles, taking the berry with a ribbon.

Thank you, little one. I'll save this for a snack later.

The hybrid moves closer to the riolu's paw, kneeling down for her.

Of course, you can; just be gentle.

Vesta chuckles a bit at the three pokemon before her.

I had an inkling my form would be questioned, just not by three at once. As for the answer, I have more dominant sylveon DNA within me. You see my proper form, though I could take the form of a mew if it makes you all more comfortable.

The hybrid stretches her legs a bit before standing up fully.

I understand it may seem weird for me to be a mew and not have a mew form, but that can be changed easily.

As Phil continued to help Okko elsewhere another pokemon arose from what appeared to be a nap. This Pokemon seemed like a sylveon but something was clearly different about her.

"It seems it's almost time for me to greet them..."

The odd sylveon turned her head slightly looking behind her

"I suppose formal introductions are in order. You may already know this but I am Vesta. I may seem like a sylveon to you but I am the mew of the world. If you have any questions I'm more than willing to answer."

Okko lay back against the tree curled up and shaking, tears slowly dripping down his face as he held his chest breathing heavily

Phil: Okko you need to breath. No one is here to hurt you. I'll protect yo-

Okko's eyes widened even further, his breathing getting more speratric as he had a flashback...

Fire... A sea of fire surrounding a human boy... a familiar face twisted in pain and anguish trapped under burning debris...a hand reaches out to the boy as a quiet voice calls out....

Okko...Okko...Okko...

The voices got louder and louder

Okko.....

The meowstic's eyes jotted open what he saw was Phil, his armed wrapped tight around him in a hug

Phil: I dunno what could be causing you to have this panic attack but it's ok. You don't have to be afraid. You're not in danger and you won't hurt anyone...I promise...

Okko didn't know what to say. A complete stranger was willing to comfort him like this. With no knowledge of what he did. It reminded him of his friends back home.
