these were some silly edits i did fairly quickly and not with a surplus of care, but since everyone loves these so much, i felt inspired to go back and do some that i either found too annoying, didn't have enough ideas, or didn't seem interesting enough at the time. consider it bonus content. dlc. encore. four pack of sprite

some simple (but plentiful!!!) sprites for you all today. just some outfit swaps! the alpha kids did not get nearly enough cool outfits, so i decided to see what they'd look like with some modified beta kid outfits. some look decent, but others look very nice! i also did it the other way around too, because whynot.

(sorry i think i'll stop with the colored text thing in default text, it was So Cool but it was also really time consuming @_@)

ahh hello everyone! i am back, and i bring you all Sprites. Again

i've made these over a fairly long time period, not much spriting done! but that's OK. first up... johnathan goes White Mode o_o

...more specifically, i tried my best to revamp his existing trickster sprite, to look a rather bit cleaner. seriously, have you ever zoomed in on the original one???? it's so messy, and i have no idea why.. so strange! anyway i really like how the beta kids have different, non-cherub, possibly calmer trickster modes. i wish we got to see the other beta kids in it! i tried remaking tricky dave in his normal record outfit, but eh, turning the record into a donut is also actually a Lot harder than you'd think

OK, coming up next... tAVris!! but no, not tAVrisprite... Tavristroll!!!

aaaa i still wish we got more from the troll-combo-sprites, they had so much narrative potential, ESPECIALLY tAVris, i mean come on q_q

i'm quite happy with this sprite, i really do think it reads pretty well! it was much more of a challenge than you'd think. i'd love to make regular troll versions of all the other trollsprites, but ugh, the horns aren't combined on the others, and i'm not sure i have the skill nor patience to recreate them accurately. oh well!

..yep, that's it! just the two of them. but are they not worthy of your appreciation ? if not, full refunds will be handed out by request :-p

since im so normal about it i whipped out a poster for the swap au and gave it a name - turnabout au!

in which kids and trolls switch sessions, ie. alpha kids play the sburb first, beta kids enter the void sessions, beta trolls are now dancestors to alpha trolls etc etc

genuine question: does anyone know why Handrew Ussie just kinda.. did that with the combined trolls in the Alpha kids sprites? it could have been such a good and unexpected way to include the old killed trolls as the comic moved forward, without too much excess character clutter. but... nothing really happens with them! their relations between one another are brought up Once during the trickster segment, but (if i am remembering correctly) doesn't even factor into anything..? tAVris explodes, Fefeta explodes, erisol is erased. i do not understand the ways of the Huss. any theories/knowledge about?
