Hey, fellow followers and dwellers!
So this blog will be on hiatus for an undetermined time. I am not as keen on working on Peculiar Bonds at this moment, since I am now in the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fandom and I am working on another story. However, if you still like my art, you can follow my main, which is @theintrovertowl 😃
Take care of yourselves and see you soon! ♥

Peculiar Bonds - Downtown Brawl
Previous
Twilight could feel in the first minutes that the 'meeting' would not go well. Once he saw his prey, Offender, slowly pulled the teenager into a darker alley, where they couldn't be seen. Once Applejack and Rainbow Dash saw this moment, they couldn't hold back and also followed into the alley. It was not noticeable at first, but somehow, Applejack was fuming internally; she only saw red in her eyes when her friend was harmed by the supernatural being. With full force, Applejack swung the cider bottle in her hand towards Offender's back of the head, shattering into several pieces; all she heard was a sinister snarl afterwards, yet she didn't flinch. Rainbow Dash, on the other hand, felt fear in that evening, which has been fueled by a high dose of adrenaline. It's going to be a long and distasteful night for Mane 6...
I had this done since September, but forgot to post this here too. The blog is more or less dead, due to my JoJo phase at the moment. Hope you enjoy this nonetheless! It’s the most panels I’ve done at once XD

Peculiar Bonds - All For One (part 2)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Continuation after Part 1,  which was done three months ago XD
Following the outline of Rainbow's plan, Mane 6 dressed up nicely and went for a walk to the city downtown. There, Twilight would meet the troublesome Slender sibling. While she was waiting alone on the street, Twilight's other friends were nearby, to watch over. In just a few minutes, Offender made his appearance, and this time, Twilight was awake enough to finally see his true stature and looks; chills suddenly ran down her spine and she was ready to run away in the first second. However, she still kept her cool. "Thought it would take me more than that to convince you to come, kiddo" he said with a smirk plastered on his face "Um, yeah, I just needed some fresh air..." Twilight excused herself. * "I already can't stand him, Applejack!" Rainbow muttered under her breath from a terrace in a nearby Café "Eeeyup, Ah feel it's gonna be a long night, Dash!" affirmed Applejack, then let out a long sigh. * "Oh, no, this is bad!!!" Pinkie gasped, while trying her best not to panic in this situation. "He hasn't done anything yet, dear!" Rarity tried to reassure, while reading a random newspaper as part of her 'undercover method' "Who's a good kitty? Yes, you are!" Fluttershy whispered to the stray feline she was holding, totally distracted by the current situation.
Phew, so, here is a continuation of my project after 3 months of inactivity, damn! But now I feel like working on the series for a few days, and I am very excited to say that the next part will finally include some action wooo! Hope you'll like this one by far!

Is that a JoJo reference??? In my Slender bros and My Little Pony crossover?
Also, finally posting something related on this blog while it’s been dead for a few months XD So there you go, Jotaro vs DIO but make it Offender vs Twilight instead (soon enough, I hope I’ll get to the actual confrontation)

I just got 50 followers, even though this blog is almost dead!!! Thank you all! ☺💖
And about the project itself, well, it's on hiatus at the moment, since I am in the JoJo fandom and I am also dealing with some personal struggles. I hope I won't lose my enthusiasm regarding Peculiar Bonds, so please bear with me 😅

Review of Slender Man (dir. Sylvian White, 2018)
The protagonists made approximately zero good decisions throughout the entire film.
The whole “high school girls doing dumb shit at sleepovers” trope is not very interesting (at least for this movie) nor is it very creative. There’s tons of films out there where high school kids do stupid shit that then gets out of control.
These characters are probably some of the most uninteresting, flat, one-dimensional characters that I’ve seen in any film ever. And I’ve seen a lot of films.
There’s zero character development.
None of these characters have any interesting character traits except for the fact that one apparently runs track. By the way, we never get any evidence for that claim.
The film is highly repetitive.
The film uses many many horror film cliches and utilizes them horribly.
The acting by the protagonists in general isn’t too good, and was highly formulaic and repetitive.
Jump scares aren’t inherently scary and they don’t magically make a film scary.
We literally have no idea where this film takes place.
We literally have no idea what the name of the high school is.
The whole “the call is coming from inside the house!” trope has been done before by When A Stranger Calls and its 2006 remake.
There’s really unnecessary and bad abstract Jacob’s Ladder/Requiem For A Dream/Saw-like sequences that contribute absolutely nothing to whatever plot this film has.
I still don’t know what Slenderman even does. However, a line from the film is: “Some he haunts, some he drives mad, and some he takes.” …So what you’re trying to say is Slenderman can’t make up his fucking mind then.
(spoiler alert sort of) Some of the scenes made no sense and didn’t have any logical continuity. There’s people in a library, lights go out, Slenderman appears and no one fucking says anything? Like everyone just vanishes? And then the lights come back on and some lady comes out of nowhere? What?
The predictable factor completely eliminates the scary factor, meaning that there’s no room for anything to be scary because everything the protagonists do is extremely predictable by horror movie standards.
The film is very very slow. It’s 1 hour and 31 minutes but it feels a lot longer. Most hour-and-a-half long movies I watch go by rather quickly (which is why if I want to watch something “quick” I usually watch movies of that length); this one did not.
The film is dark and creepy, but that’s all the movie has. And by the way, the “darkness” of this film is all because its filmed mostly at night or in dimly lit environments. Dark and creepy does not always equal scary.
The film doesn’t know whether or not it wants to focus on the protagonists or Slenderman.
We don’t really know what exactly happened to the protagonists and while sometimes that can be a good thing and make something scarier (Slenderman as a character is already really Lovecraftian in general and Lovecraft said “the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown”), this just leaves you scratching your head.
Slenderman himself isn’t very scary in this film.
Worst crime of all: This film wasn’t scary.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Day 3! Gotta represent the classics! :D!
#slendertheeightpages will be the only horror game where fully relying on jump scares is acceptable - change my mind.
