Updated studyblr intro

so, a lot has changed since freshman year (which is to be expected, of course). i figured i’d reintroduce myself!

-i’m currently a junior in high school

-i just moved to a new state; i’ve moved 17 times total

-i want to be a pilot ✈️

-my favorite music artists are khalid and troye sivan

-my current GPA is 3.1

-my goal GPA is 3.6

-my favorite subject is physics (i sit next to a really cool person)

-i just got hired at starbucks!!

-i’m saving up to buy a ball python

-my favorite color is yellow

-i like to read young adult fiction

-i’m in the gay-straight alliance club

-i play xbox

-i have been playing minecraft for eight years

-i have a cocker spaniel

and there you have it! a random list of facts about me. i’ll be posting some notes from my classes and updates while studying. i have to write a three page paper this weekend; i’ll see you then. :)

i guess i’ll do my first actual post now!

i’ve just started my junior year and my school has the option to do online only or in-person only. to keep myself accountable, i chose to attend physically. my school is doing really well with preventing the spread of COVID so i feel comfortable attending. this year, i’m taking physics, intro to business, honors american lit, world history, algebra 2, us history, and ap environmental science. i’ll be honest, i failed honors algebra 2 as a freshman. i was dealing with some stuff in my personal life and my grades dropped pretty bad. i’ve made some changes to my environment since then to make myself happier and my grades are better than ever. i wanted to share this because it’s something my past self really needed to see. if someone out there isn’t doing their best right now, i need you to know that it’ll be okay. life gets better. i failed two classes, i moved across the country, i lost some friends, and i’m doing just fine :)

I work hard to prove to myself and my family that I can do whatever I set my mind to. I work hard to meet my own expectations and so that I can tell myself at the end of the day that I really did my best. I work hard so I can earn the future I want for myself and my future family. I work hard to show the people around me that I am not to be messed with, and that their words mean nothing to me when I’m successful and living my ambitions. I work hard so that one day people can trust me to help them and I can do so properly.

Hey! My name is Emily (she/her). I’ve decided to create a studyblr to motivate me and track my progress during the school year. Here are some facts about me:

-I live in the USA

-I’m a freshman in high school

-My classes this year are honors algebra II, honors english, honors biology, world geography, and Spanish II

-I’m in AFJROTC

-I self-study Korean

-I am an INTJ

-I’m not quite sure which career I want to pursue in the future, although I do want to join the Air Force (and perhaps attend the United States Air Force Academy)

-I have an interest in medicine and linguistics

-I’ve moved as many times as my age
