OMG I'M BACK

Hell, it's been years since I've been here? It's so nice to be back (almost forgot my email and password too lmao).

Some updates:

I graduated in 2020 (yes, during the height of COVID)

I have been freelancing for almost 2 years

I have no idea if I'll ever study again

I am still v much a KPOP Fan (hell TXT and LE SSERAFIM were the bomb last night at MMA)

For the future of this account, I'm not really sure, but I WILL try to be as active as I can again. Idk if my followers are still here, nevertheless, I'm back and staying!

Hope that we can all be here again ✨

How is Everyone?

I can’t believe this account is still alive, somehow. I was expecting it to be missing by now after my last post how many years ago..

I’ll be making an update post soon enough because I can’t thank the studyblr community enough for everything I’ve achieved. 

It’s surreal but long story short..

I GRADUATED!! CUM LAUDE!

I know, awards aren’t anything but from where I used to be, this is probably the biggest achievement ever. 

And it’s all thanks to the studyblr community for “teaching” me how to be a good student 😭

For now, this is just a quick update and I’ll be making a proper post. Probably even a timeline of some sort with pictures (of me???!!!) We’ll see 😉

the temperature hit 27 degrees f (-3 celsius) today so i’m bundled up in my room with thick socks and cozy blankets, trying to accept the fact that this is the new reality for the next 5 months 🌨

After I posted this post I got a ton of requests for the full images of each individual poster, so here they are!! I drew them all by hand (periodic table was the worst one) and I plan on doing some more because I really like having info sheets all plain and out there like that. It really helps me study. 

I’m  pretty sure they are all legible if you click on them, but if any of you want ***printables*** I can try to scan them.

I spent my weekend at the amazing I, I, I, I, I, I, I, Kathy Acker exhibition at the ICA – it was spread across two floors with a café at the centre so I spent hours wandering between sections, reading a little, stopping for a coffee, wandering more. The exhibition I’ve been curating is approaching so fast, it felt inspiring to be in a gallery which is so simple and honest in its presentation. It was the perfect space to work on the essay for our exhibition’s catalogue.

Finally felt able to look at my work again, for the first time really since finishing my degree. I’m editing a few pieces – one is an essay on Europe which I started a year ago. Reading it again, it’s clear how much has changed and continues to change all the time. Scary, and exciting

Recent purchases–– I’ve fully embraced having a mix of blue and white Penguin Moderns now. I got a good deal from the independent bookshop near the university for the David Foster Wallace reader but I’m not going to dive into it yet, I’m keeping on with reading non-male writers for now 😌

things have been feeling a lot better around here now that I’ve settled into my semester classes. happy spring!
