want to make a fifthist scp that somehow involves jerma. also want to do other fifthist scips. the hardest part of writing them, to me, is like avoiding the urge to plan out explanations for all their stuff. like, reading 1425, what the scp does is readily apparent, but i dont really get its purpose or what the fifthists were thinking. but i think thats kind of the point with fifthist stuff, is that it genuinely does not make sense, in or out of context. the take i lean to these days is that fifthism basically doesnt really exist as an actual historical religion/movement, but retroactively replaces other memes(groups, concepts, civilizations, events) with a bizarre fifthist narrative that often makes no sense and cant really explain its own existence. most fifthists generally seem to have virtually no concept of the veil and openly talk about fifthism, and constantly behave extremely erratically. the scp 3125 inclusion kind of explains this as it wipes out anyone  like, how on earth did the hollywood 1425 cult form?

Do you know the game Hytale? This game seems to be a competitor of Minecraft, it is being developed by a group of people involved in the Minecraft Modding community! Watch the Trailer!

Naturally, they made sharks just like the generic aggressive monstrous enemy with no depth whatsoever, so I decided to contribute some ideas of creatures to the oceans of Hytale!

In some of these ideas, I explored fantasy abstractions of tonic immobility and electro-sense, characteristics of sharks that I never saw being explored creatively. jsyk, when you hear “shot bean bags at protesters”

you might think something like a hacky sack, but that is the misleading nature of this name. Often, they are talking about these:

that is fired out of a shotgun. The cloth is kevlar, and inside is.. THE SAME LEAD PELLETS YOU FIND IN MOST SHOTGUN ROUNDS. 

The kevlar prevents spread and penetration. But people are still getting shot with a shotgun.

That is why, even though you often hear or see “less THAN lethal” the actual technical term for this kind of ammo is “less lethal”. As in still lethal, just not as deadly as a standard shotgun round

This is what is being fired at civilians. If you get hit in the head there is a GOOD chance of you winding up in critical condition or dead. Be careful out there

Seriously man parents are the most terrifying thing ever. Will I too lose my empathy with age? Will I stop seeing my children as people and instead as objects and investments when I end up having to spend lots of money and effort on and for them? Idk my parental relationship is obviously full of fucking cracks and they’re obviously just not very skilled at parenting (two ridiculously emotionally damaged children..... who both get sent to rehab.......literally fucking consecutively.) But I wonder what’s it’s root is exactly. Certainly it’s parental insecurity in some way, but what way exactly. Their anger and fear really comes on strongly at any sign we will not be completely successful adults, as in we all also become wealthy capitalists and be married with kids. I guess? I’m broadly ok with that(tho having kids terrify me and I’d generally rather work altruistically but I’m not squeamish about surviving and having to sacrifice some principles)
