Spidersona lore since someone asked about it today: Venom

Cass came across the symbiote while hanging out with the Starjammers on an xmen in space venture (hanging out with Scott and his dad, her least favorite activity)

The two briefly bonded, and Venom helped get her out of a jam, but after Venoms more Face Munchy impulses emerged, Cass had a convo with Logan about animal impulses that led to her rejecting the symbiote.

Venom found his way to Cass' version of Flash, a mutant who isn't open about her mutant status. Envious of the X-Men's ability to use their powers for good, but lacking an ability that would be any real help in a field like that and lacking a secret identity, she bonded with Venom and tried to be a hero on her own. This didn't go.... great. The media branded Venom as a rogue mutant and eventually the xmen decided they needed to stop her.

Cass immediately recognized Flash and Venom and once they managed to subdue the pair, Cass and Flash discussed being a mutant and how there's a certain responsibility to act a certain way, because being a mutant publicly (whether you like it or not) reflects back on all mutants

And then Flash Venom joins the xmen :3

the ninth doctor always goes crazy to me because he wasn't an ambivalent god. he was the benevolent, scarred, and cynical god who cared because he couldn't not. when no one else did. because if he didn't do something, no one else would. he was the one with the power, the responsibility, and it hurt him constantly. every life he watched burn out was a tragedy -- a loss. he kissed a servant girl on the head who no one would remember. he closed the eyes of a dead man. he mourned a pig the military shot. he cared them all, no matter how insignifigant and fleeting their lives could have seemed to his. he was a little mean and a little rude and a lot angry (at everyone at everything) but he also had so much joy. he loved knowing he'd lose. and when he regenerated, he simply looked to rose with that big grin on his face and told her she was fantastic -- and so was he.

The Jon-Agnes-Gerry trio is so funny to me like there are two chosen antichrists who were destined to bring end of the world and one of them is associated with eyes while the other one is associated with fire, and neither of them are the guy with eye tattoos or the burn scars. somehow I got 95/20 on an assignment

This comic is based off a scenario I like to think about often, where Jon and Daisy develop an arrangement where she will volunteer live statements so that Jon can feed from someone consensually. These are comprised of stories from her time as a sectioned officer. They're not quite as "filling" as most live statements, but there's enough that they usually satisfy Jon's cravings - they are, after all, very unpleasant experiences that Daisy went through personally, even if most of them could be described as 'second-hand' when it comes to actual engagement with any of the Fears.

I wanted to make a comic about an instance where Jon accidentally taps into a much more personal trauma that Daisy never would have agreed to share, and beginning to extract it from her without meaning to.

This could have been longer, because I really wanted to get into the aftermath, but it would have been several more pages for a simple back-and-forth conversation, so I didn't let myself do it!! Instead, I'll be writing up something where Jon and Daisy have a discussion about what just happened. I'll add it to this post once that's done! And then probably post the whole thing on ao3.

For now, enjoy the unpleasant results of an awful mistake.

My Ben 10 OG Alien designs! These are my designs for Ben's original Aliens as he grows into a young adult, and how those forms would evolve with age.

In most cases this just means adapting the clothing, in some cases making changes to line up with how we see these forms in the episode "Ben 10,000" and hint at that progression, or otherwise 'age up' aliens, some of whom already look like full adults at 10 so idfk.

All clothing is reimagined, desaturating the Omniverse Green significantly to make the colour blend in more with the aliens whos natural colours aren't as compatible with bright green.

Otherwise the most important design feature for me was making the aliens less humanoid. Four Arms looses his neck again and gets a prominent second pair of pecs, XLR8 becomes more raptor-esque, and Stinkfly more insectoid.

I've got sketches for Cannonbolt, Wildvine, Blitzwolfer, and Snare-Oh so maybe I'll go back and finish those someday!
