I'm probably going to put posting on hold here for a while, as I'm finding posting to multiple platforms is a lot, and honestly I have no idea how many people actually look at my Tumblr! - might have to reduce the number of media I use. Meantime, using the Linktree or going to my Facebook or Instagram is the best way to see my current projects

Only a few pics from last night's Frostgrave at Bristol Independent Gaming - I was too busy watching my warband being felled!

Rob and I have been gradually playing the Thaw of the Lich Lord campaign and this was the Lair of the Ghoul King scenario.

The warbands have been trapped in the lair, and the only means of escape is to operate the levers on the Ghoul King's throne to open the doors round the edges of the lair. Really well designed scenario!

Things got off to a great start when my freshly recruited Captain aimed her arrow at the Ghoul King and brought him down in one critical hit in turn 1...but it went a bit downhill from there for my warband - Rob took a fair few casualties too, but I was wiped off the table, bar one escaping Treasure Hunter hauling a chest through an opening at the edge...and only my Wizard survived the injury table totally unscathed.

Rob fared better, and escaped with four treasures laden with plenty of grimoires and goodies. I have an Apprentice with a broken arm, a Captain with a niggling injury and 7 soldiers who have joined the choir invisible, so just as well I have the gold to recruit more!
