i don’t even know where to start or end this post but,, i’m officially closing this blog. 

this is bittersweet for me since this blog holds so much memories for me and i have made many friends under the alias onlyjihoons on this platform. some stayed, some left, some... doing well i guess

given the sporadic works that i have been putting out i feel bad that i’m writing under the url that doesn’t quite match the characters i’m writing for as of now. this blog has been through many changes and reforms, and i feel bad about that too.

i’m still writing as much as time and school(and my writing inspiration) allows me to, but i’ll be posting them under different blogs. i’ll be starting afresh on the new blogs that i’ll write on. they’ll also be sporadic posts, do drop me a message if you’d like to follow them as well. (that’s if, i can still find the spark to write)

i’ll still be using this blog to follow mutuals/interact as this is a main blog, but i won’t be using this url to post any fics that i’ll be writing in the future/posting my drafts anymore. 

and i would like to apologise to the anons who have sent in requests but i have never gotten to them,,, im really sorry

i would also like to thank every single one of you on this blog who have shown immense support for my writings, even though i may feel insecure about them at times. it really warms my heart to see people liking the content i put out, some even in fic rec blogs. thank you so much.

i guess i’ll see you guys whenever i do.

jeno letting u drive his car but its more of a teamwork thing...... bc u cant steer for shit

jeno hurriedly clicks the seatbelt across his body, closing his eyes to recite a silent prayer.

“don’t be dramatic,” you rolled your eyes, “i’ve been to a few lessons and my instructor says im a pro now!”

jeno eyes you suspiciously, opting to keep his eyes on the road, “and i must be stupid to loan you my car for you to practice. why did i even agree to this?”

you chuckle as you lower the hand brake, shifting the gear to D, “because you’re my best friend? and you trust me to not ram your baby into a curb.”

jeno was excited, to say the least, when you told him you were taking your driver’s license. he could finally live the dream of going on road trips with his best friend(or crush, for that matter), taking turns to drive his baby mercedes, carpool karaoke and all. he must be wearing 10 layers of rose-tinted glasses to offer his car to you for practice(albeit illegal unless you don’t tell anyone). 

and sitting at the passenger’s side of his car shattered all 10 of those layers completely.

the car now cruising at 20km/h, jeno’s hands immediately flies to the steering wheel, steering the car away from the curb that was so close to scratching his car.

“what a pro, and risk getting my car scratched,” jeno scoffs, peering at you periodically, and then the rose-tinted glasses magically reconstructs itself again, “but again, it’s only your fifth time behind the wheel. so i think thats great.”

“really?” you answer, hands gripping the steering wheel for your dear life, knuckles turning white.

“mhm,” your best friend hums, hands absentmindedly placed above yours as he ignores the loud thumping of his heart, “i think you—“

before jeno could dish out another compliment, this time, you nearly drive into the next lane.

“gosh y/n!” jeno steers the car back to safety, placing his free hand on his chest, heart now thumping for a different reason, “can you steer properly?”

“dude, im trying!” you cried, immediately pulling the car over to the side, then parking the car safely, “now this is what i call teamwork.”

jeno deadpans, looking at you straight in the eye, “you can’t steer for shit.”

you nod your head, then leaning your head on the steering wheel in defeat, “i know, i basically just stepped on the acceleration and brake gear while you did all the steering.”

you fail to notice jeno’s eyes softening, but you do feel a very familiar hand ruffling your hair, then arms wrapping around your deflated body.

“it’s fine.” jeno comforts you, sighing, “i’ll just cry and let you drive my car.”

you raise your head slowly, looking at your best friend, whose face so close to yours, if you moved a slightest bit your lips would touch his.

“then cry because your baby will suffer from many scratches.” you smirk as you sat up, pushing the car gear back to D as you swerve back into the street.

you really didn’t foresee that such a sweet and caring boy to be the dreaded casanova you only heard in movies; rich and handsome. unfortunately, donghyuck was hitting every single bingo the casanova card could offer.

“fine.” you slipped on your sundress that was discarded on the floor, that was a gift from donghyuck,  “if that’s what makes you happy, i guess. ‘twas nice knowing you, hyuck.”
