Always fidgeting - banging rocks together and discovers flint-knabbing

Can't sleep at night, great at guarding the cave while family sleeps

Sensitive senses means discovering and refusing to eat rotten/poisonous food

Sees bird eat nut - impulsively tries it too and discovers that nuts taste good

This is Azgan Qenaj. A bakery owner from Zagreb, Croatia. Here he is pictured receiving a "Pride of Croatia" award.

This man has been giving out free bread to poor citizens for over 20 years. After closing hours, he distributes whatever is left to people waiting in front of his shop.

Azgan Qenaj received fine after fine after fine after fine for doing this. Apparently, it was against the law to give it out for free like that, and if he wanted to do so, he himself had to pay PDV for it.

Even after being fined immensely and forced to close his shop for a year to recover financially from everything, this brave father of four continued giving.

In the meantime, the laws have changed and he can now give out the food for free without fear of losing everything owns.

Even right now, when we have a pandemic going on, he still bravely gives out food to the less fortunate.

This man truly is pride of Croatia. Azgan said his parents always taught him that throwing away food when you can give it out instead was a sin. He was willing to lose everything, because he couldn't stand to see his neighbors starving.

Sometimes, there are only a few people in front of his shop. Sometimes, there are twenty, sometimes, many more. Children wait for the bread, older people too. And even in trying times, Azgan Qenaj is going to be there for them, when nobody else will.

Azgan Qenaj is my hero. I hope today he is yours too. Thank you, kind sir, for everything you do.
