What a great drama, as expected from one of my absolute favorite actresses Park Bo Young. It was actually a pretty serious drama and I cried several times 😭 It was a very emotional drama about mental illness and it's definitely a subject that needs to be talked about more in SK. I feel that there may be a stigma about mental illness in SK that it is some kind of weakness and only happens to weak people which is so far from the truth. I remember the head nurse talking about her sister and not recognizing her mental illness until she thought it was too late and it hit so close to home for me I just started crying. Very emotional. Now the romantic relationships were super cute with ups and downs but really sweet. I actually love Da Eun and Yu Chans friendship as well, people would be lucky to find a friendship in their life like that. I think this drama covers a lot of tough scenarios but covers them very well. I wholeheartedly recommend!
I totally wasn't expecting this wild ride. It was just crazy from the very start but by the second episode it was full blown nuts lol! Basically you start by getting thrown into an organ harvesting ring when supposedly and earthquake hits and then it's just a free for all trying to get out of the crumbling hotel. Jong Seo killed her part and Seon Kyu was a total weirdo lol. This was so different from a lot of the dramas I've seen but I would say it's a dark comedy. I thought it ended well on it's own but I did see on the main poster it says part 1 which usually means they are at least thinking of a part 2 which I could totally see. I absolutely loved it so I definitely recommend!
What a beautiful love story. I caught myself falling in love with Doona as well, what a great pperformance by Suzy. Se Jong gave an extremely emotional performance as well and honestly made me tear up a few times, his apology towards the end that Doona demanded broke my heart 😭😭😭 The supporting cast was super fun and the second female lead was stunning and genuine. I will say if you are watching this on a purely surface level without listening to the characters and what they say or aren't paying attention to some of the opening sequences and their symbolism you may be disappointed, especially with the ending which could be said is open though clearly if you see what Won Joon is wearing in the opening sequence of episode 9 you can tell that was actually the ending. Also Won Joon straight up tells her she is the only one for him and do you really think Doona would quit him after being the only source of love she felt her entire life. And let's talk about the symbolism that is the train opening sequences where they are waiting for the obstacle between them to pass and when the rails go up Doona starts walking straight towards him, absolutely stellar. A definite must see in my book!!!!
