This is not a plot hole but it’s so fucking bizarre, short-sighted, confusing and out of character: WHY did John Gilbert direct Isabelle/ Isobel to Damon Salvatore when she wanted to know more about vampires? Damon isn’t known as particularly benevolent and sweet. There was no reason for John to think Damon was going to have a little chit chat with Isobel and then let her go on her merry way. At best he would compel her to forget the conversation but he more likely would’ve just snapped her neck for knowing that he’s a vampire.

Okay like I don’t like to get on Gege too much. It’s a stressful job. I just have to say though, Nobara’s potential was wasted and her character has been disrespected. The whole of the Shibuya arc we’re getting her opponents speaking positively about her. There is all this build up talking about her getting stronger and reaching new heights and then we never hear from her again.

If she’s alive, bring her back. If she’s dead, commemorate her somehow. She was as much a part of the story as Megumi is. They were a group. There’s no “this one is for Nobara” or “I can’t lose Megumi and Nobara.” No one talks about her. Her and Yuji were thick as thieves. Gojo didn’t mention her when he got out the box and got filled in on previous events. You would think he would’ve said “damn that fucking sucks one of my THREE students died.” It’s like she didn’t exist and she was a main character.
