Instagram @Citasimon: Hello, My name is Teresita Naja Simon. I’m a 40 year old dental assistant born and raised in the heart of Northeast Portland OR. I was raised in your typical African-American single mother house hold where I battled most of my struggles that have made me who I am today. I like to consider myself strong and open minded i also don’t sugar coat anything. I have a total of two children My oldest is 24 who I had when I just 16 and the youngest (Whom I share a blog with) Nylee, I had with my husband of 19 years Keith. As you can guess from my daughters bio we are a interracial couple   Him and I met outside of the old corner store that used to stand on the corner of 17th and Killingsworth in the summer of 1999. I know what your thinking what the hell was a white boy doing on killingsworth  at a corner store in 1999.  I was thinking the same thing especially when he hopped out of a green 64 Chevy Impala well lets just say that was not typical in 1999 for a white boy to be in that part of the hood in that kind of car but his shyness and somewhat flirtatious conversation drew me too him and so begin this relationship of a girl from the hood and my fly guy.  2 years later we had a child and the rest is history.  My relationship with my husband, my daughters and our different family life  has been one large comical roller coaster and my daughter and I figured why not share our life with the world hope you enjoy.
