THE KING IS RIGHT  &  she knows it.  the battle has barely finished,  the fallen are still in the field,  and she is  weak.  his words ground her,  even if only for a moment,  and she takes his hand to rise with him.  “ the  cold  doesn’t bother me, ”  she assures him,  though she’s not so sure of that anymore.  she can feel it seeping into her hands,  see her breath in the air.  it affects her in a way she’s never known.

elsa takes a deep breath,  jaw tense as she glances once more around the battlefield.  at the very least,  she ought to stay to light the pyres.  “ i will stay long enough to honour the dead, ”  she promises,  though the idea of  waiting  doesn’t settle well with her.  “ and when the pyres are alight,  i  need to go north,  by myself.  it is too dangerous a journey for you to risk,  my king. ”

He is comforted by her decision to stay, even if it’s only to rest and mourn the dead . As she stands , he quirks a brow. ❛  Anyone in their right mind would be bothered by the North’s cold . You need to rest, my lady .   ❜ He could see her breath, as he could see his own. If he was cloaked rather than armoued, he’d offer the woman his fur . Instead, he stretches his arm from his hip, offering her a steady place to hold while they walked . 

❛  I’ll take you to your chamber and we’ll light a fire for warmth . ❜ Robb’s stubbornness stemmed from his time fighting his war -- made clear as she attempts to convince him that his company along her journey would be unnecessary . ❛  I’ve won nearly EVERY battle I have fought , and now I’ve won another . What other evil is left to face , aside a few exiled men  ?  the dead are gone . You would be safer with my help .  ❜  He would not take no for an answer . ❛ --- I cannot stand by while the Godswood turns to ashes , either . I am King , and if nothing else , it’s my duty to protect all that is Winterfell .  ❜ As they walk into the castle , Robb picks up a lit candle that had been hanging from the brick walls ; the light assisting them through the corridor’s . His people bow to him as they walk , and he pats a few soldiers arm to reassure their safety . He was a kind King -- one who genuinely cared for the livelihood of every northerner -- man, woman, or child . ❛  We will light a pyre in the morning , and I will tell my sister then that she is to stay in my place while I am gone .   ❜

#can we talk about how heartbreaking this actually is ? #every time i see this gif of robb my heart breaks #i don't find it 'intimidating' #i don't find it 'sexy' #ok thats a fucking lie it's sexy but anyway #robb was the eldest #as an eldest child i know #he has so much on his shoulders #even before ned left winterfell #he takes care of every one of his siblings in different ways #when ned is imprisoned and then murdered #robb is then also crowned a king when all he wanted was to get his father and sisters back safe #he had to turn into this #leader of a war he didnt even want to fight #he just wanted to be home with his sisters and give his father a proper funeral like #he's genuinely so kind and playful and responsible and good #he teaches his siblings hard lessons and messes around with them #but also guides them #and then he turned into a man who had to intimidate his enemies #he was good so he won battle after battle but then ?? #the world starts to talk about how he can't be fucking killed ??? and how powerful he is #so now he has to meet those expectations as well ??? as king and now basically the man of the house / family #AND HE WAS LIKE ?? 18 - EARLY 20S ????? 15-17 IN THE BOOKS ?? #he's not that man in that gif thats what im saying like #thats not him #its what he was forced to be #and literally only stemms from his love for his family #he just wants his wife and his baby and his sisters safe #anyway #thinking about baking some cookies

i have been on this site roleplaying for years and i’ve seen so much hate and negativity over those years. so many people crying, deleting, feeling hopeless because of cruel anons. and then this ray of actual sunshine appears and starts spreading what every single one of us all deserves: POSITIVE LOVE AND REASSURANCE and i just want to say to whoever is running this sweet polar bear blog: you are making so many people happy, and moving this rpc so many steps forward. we need more of this. but thank you for not forgetting people & including so many different fandom’s as well . keep branching out and making roleplayers happy. it’s the holiday season and it’s not always happy for a lot of people , and having even the smallest bit of love in the space people consider their escape, is incredibly helpful for so many people’s mental health. keep doing you, sweetie !

writer :   marissa, 20s. muse :   robb stark, 24, new resident. occupation :   veterinarian. reaction :   robb recently moved from alaska and was raised in the cold north, so he is not bothered by the weather, but he’s upset that his flights back home to be with his siblings for the holidays are now cancelled / delayed . He has his dog with him at all times , and tries to make the best out of the situation !

SHE STEADIES HERSELF  with the king’s aid,  blue eyes scanning the area for signs of danger.  as the young stark approaches them,  elsa watches her with fretful gaze.  the weirwood tree does not rot.  no,  this is all wrong.  “ where is my steed? ”  she asks,  moves away from robb’s support.

head turns frantically as she searches for  NOKK  among the crowd.  jaw tenses when she does not find him.  “ nokk! ”  she calls desperately,  raises a hand as if to summon the horse—  and nothing.  brows knit,  she gives another wave of her palm.  nothing again.  no ice…  NO MAGIC.  she turns to robb,  eyes filled with disturbance.  “ your majesty,  i must go—  would you spare me a horse? ”

In this moment he is HELPLESS , falling quiet as he watches the woman attempt the use of her magic . He and his sister look around them , searching for the horse to no prevail . When Elsa demands she leave and requests a horse of his own, he is surprised. As strong as she was -- the northern king would refuse to let any soldier push themselves too far .  

❛  The battle just ended . You’ve not rested and you’re wanting to leave ? We’ve yet to light any pyre’s for the dead .  ❜  He doesn’t mean to disrespect , but Robb is stern with his orders , prominently stemming from his concern for her safety. ❛ If you have no control over your magic , you’re not safe riding anywhere alone . It’s before dawn -- and Winter , my lady .  ❜ The king turns his attention toward his sister , where he then asks about their brother’s safety and is comforted by her small smile . Bran was still alive , the white’s defeated , only now stemmed a new problem -- the north’s magic seemed to be depleting . It’s then that he rises tall once more , offering a hand to assist Elsa onto her feet . ❛  Where do we need to go ?  ❜
